Killer of Immigration Reform
Identified As David Brat

New York Magazine, by Jonathan Chait

Original Article

Posted By:MDMuskrat, 7/4/2014 10:58:56 AM

The Wall Street Journal editorial page predictably bemoans the collapse of immigration reform and, equally predictably, insinuates that Democrats conspired to help kill it in order to benefit politically. (Favoring cooperation with President Obama on anything requires conservatives to argue that the president secretly hopes the measure will fail.) But the real news comes in the seventh paragraph, when the Journal reports that House Republicans were actually poised to pass a bill before Eric Cantor´s loss freaked them out: ... a majority of GOP Members wanted an immigration reform to pass as long as they didn´t have to vote for

How one man, with substantial support from a woman, can cause great change. [The subtitle here should be "Laura and the Brat."]

Brat didn´t kill Immigration "Reform", the voters of Cantor´s district killed it as the system is designed. Naturally the elite don´t get the message that they will actually lose support if they pass it. The elite are still listening to each other and pandering to the left wing press, so they believe that granting amnesty (any forgiveness of a crime is amnesty... It is really odd that they say that criminals among the illegals will not be put on a path to citizenship when, if fact, all of them are criminals having violated immigration laws) will somehow make legal Hispanic citizens like them. Hogwash!

Barack Obama killed any "immigration reform."

First, he needs as many "divisive" issues as he can to separate people and to drive the lo-info voters to the polls to vote for Democrats.

Second, he has shown his un-reliability to perform his part of the bargain. Laws, Constitution mean nothing to him. Just a pen, a phone and a royal edict from the Dear Leader(US) and he will do what he wants. How can you make a deal on significant legislation with someone like that?

Heck, he´s virtually re-written his "signature" Obamacare law. And when it comes to deals, ask ol´ dumbo Bart Stupak how well his "deal" with Obama to not include abortion as a requirement in Obamacare went.

Necessity is the mother of invention:

If just half of the money, time, and effort, were expended toward developing more technology capable of harvesting fruits, and vegetables; more robots for processing foods (such as slaughterhouses), there would be little need for an abundance of cheap, unskilled laborers.

Therefore, it appears, a sick need by the powerful to control, and enslave their ´lessors´ is more important than advancements for the good of all.

If the Republicans cave and facilitate the liberal Democrat ideas of comprehensive immigration reform there is no doubt that Obama will throw out any enforcement elements that he believes might hinder future mass uncontrolled illegal immigration, and will commence implementing a massive amnesty that will ultimately generate tens of millions of socialist oriented Democrat voters. That´s what Obama´s amnesty push is all about.

Such an amnesty would not stop the massive flood of illegal aliens now crossing the borderline, but would legalize it, and encourage more mass uncontrolled illegal immigration on into the future.

Failure to respect, acknowledge and enforce existing laws renders any changes to the law moot.

Next question ?

Move to the country and keep your powder dry because it´s not about the law any more.

This will not be resolved short of armed ´struggle´.

The traditional American process of open debate and free elections has been subverted and destroyed.

Marxists don´t ´Do´ elections in any honest sense.

In an unexpected discovery, hundreds of gas plumes bubbling up from the seafloor were spotted during a sweeping survey of the U.S. Atlantic Coast. Even though ocean explorers have yet to test the gas, the bubbles are almost certainly methane, researchers report today (Aug. 24) in the journal Nature Geoscience. "We don´t know of any explanation that fits as well as methane," said lead study author Adam Skarke, a geologist at Mississippi State University in Mississippi State.

Yesterday, in response to the news that jihadi savages had killed an American journalist on YouTube, the Obama administration revealed that there had been a special forces operation that attempted and failed to rescue James Foley. Americans of Middle Eastern and North African descent, sometimes abbreviated as “MENA,” have a problem: they are white. In today’s world, that is a bad thing, as Pew explains: [F]or the census, since the beginning of the last century, the MENA community has been lumped into the “white” category. But each time, the economy has turned sluggish again. Like most Americans, I am deeply concerned about our weak economic recovery and its effects on millions of families. Opportunity, especially for the young and disadvantaged, is declining. High underemployment has become our new norm.
