The Murrieta Rebellion

The Law: Residents of city proud to be called Reagan Country rose up last week to halt busloads of illegal immigrants being dumped into their neighorhoods, showing why they may have started a grassfire national movement. To get into the town hall meeting at California´s Murietta Mesa High School, you had to work your way through 200 angry protesters. Many of them were in green and white Mexican soccer jerseys and bandanas and waved Mexican flags, at least one with "Viva Mexico" stamped on it. "Ci-ti-zen-ship! Ci-ti-zen-ship!" shouted one young woman, pumping her flag along as the crowd´s rage sizzled. She apparently

Waving their Mexican flag makes me sick. If they want citizenship then they better start acting like an american. I say do a sweep and sent them ALL back.

An interesting co-incidence that this rebellion starts in Murrieta a place named similarly to Mariel as in Mariel Boat lift. The Castro attack on america is now being perpetrated by the POTUS.

Anyone waving a foreign flag while demanding citizenship isn´t worthy to be an American. Why anyone would grant their "demand" is beyond me.

They can yell all they want to, but if they contact you in any way while you´re trying to get to the meeting, they´re legally guilty of battery, and candidates for being soaked down with pepper spray.

#6 I´ll answer your question because the Democrats know they will vote for them and it´s all about power. The Democrats don´t care if they are waving the Mexican flag or if they hate this country they just want the votes. The Democrat Party is destroying the Republic, with help from establishment GOP, and is basically now the enemy within.

These are Americans who still believe they can do something about something that is wrong in the country. I confess I feel incapable of doing anything -- I have people around me who say ´what are you going to do´. I hate that. I admire these people so much and thank them for their fortitude.

Joaquin Murrieta was a legendary local criminal / hero who is said to have played the ´Robin Hood´ angle of pop-criminality. Possibly the inspiration for the Zorro character. The local ´hot springs´ is wonderful and named in his honor and also that of his equally infamous brother. It´s a nice place but, sadly, located in the BFE region of Cal.

Russian strategic nuclear bombers carried out air defense zone incursions near Alaska and across Northern Europe this week in the latest nuclear saber rattling by Moscow. Six Russian aircraft, including two Bear H nuclear bombers, two MiG-31 fighter jets and two IL-78 refueling tankers were intercepted by F-22 fighters on Wednesday west and north of Alaska in air defense identification zones, said Navy Capt. Jeff A. Davis, a spokesman for the U.S. Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command. Russia has said the conduct of the Scottish referendum "did not meet international standards", with its observers complaining the count took place in rooms that were too big and that the procedure was badly flawed. In an apparent attempt to mirror persistent western criticism of Russia´s own elections, Igor Borisov – an accredited observer – said the poll failed to meet basic international norms. Borisov and three other Russians arrived in Edinburgh on Wednesday evening, the state news agency Ria Novosti reported. Maduro claimed the reports intended to cause "panic or psychological terror." Gov. Jerry Brown has handed California cities some sought-after tools for controlling a massage industry boom. Cities and police officers have complained about a proliferation of massage parlors in recent years, saying the culprit was a 2008 law giving the nonprofit California Massage Therapy Council overriding authority for overseeing massage parlors. The issue was a priority for the League of California Cities. Brown announced on Thursday that he had signed Assembly Bill 1147, which restores some power to local jurisdictions – notably granting them land-use powers making it easier to shut down or restrict the number of massage establishments.

Economy minister Axel Kicillof blamed the ´holdouts´ and the US embassy for the latest surge. The stock exchange rate, that was the main reason for the “blue” dollar skyrocketing on Tuesday, fell back today to 13.63 pesos. Meanwhile, the blue-chip swap rate was up seven cents and closed at 13.49 pesos. Meanwhile, the US dollar climbed one cent to 8.43 pesos in Buenos Aires City

Devastating. That´s really the only way to describe Politico´s piece on DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. (I hereby nominate her for Worst Week in Washington.) (Editor´s note: Three words -- Joseph. Robinette. Biden.) Based on interviews with DNC staffers -- both former and current -- the piece described Wasserman Schultz as something of a modern-day Tracy Flick: over-eager, disloyal and not shy about promoting her ambitions. It would be fair to say that she sounds like, well, a lot like other politicians. And this would be accurate.
