America at the Crossroads
on the Fourth of July

PJ Media, by Roger L. Simon

Original Article

America is at a crossroads — we always seem to be, but this time we really are. We are living under the administration of a president that is now the least popular since World War II. A full one-third of those polled by Quinnipiac rate Barack Obama the worst president since 1945. (Reagan is rated the best.) What accounts for this? There are dozens of reasons that have been detailed on these pages and many others. The man has lied to us multiple times — and to himself as well, no doubt — and many people now apparently sense this. But I

Mr. Simon is off base here to suggest that Tea Partiers and mainstream Republicans are really very close to the same. Mainstream Republicans are the reason we are in this mess. They have been co-opted by the DC establishment against the American citizenry. They have been bought off to allow the progressive movement to erode the foundation of this great country with only nominal opposition. They are effectively allies to the destruction of the US.

I agree that we should be targeting those who would wreck this country, but that MUST include the Cochrans, McCains, Grahams, and their ilk, or we will surely fail.

I agree with 1. It´s like saying members of the French Underground and officers of the Vichy French government were both---after all---Frenchmen. We need to rid ourselves of the collaborators on the R side, but they will not go easily. Treachery pays big dividends...at least for a while.

PJ Media blather-- There are three main distinct political elements in America.

1. The Dems and the media willing to roll over and fetch and bark their obvious socialist agenda.

2. The GOP so willingly assisting them by never mounting a challenge or advancing conservative principles.

3. The Tea Party (types)-- This is truly the majority of America-- conservative, hard working when they can find work, freedom loving, law abiding, aware of sedition (Obama) and understanding that with each and every scandal from Benghazi to the IRS debacle to the ILLEGAL ALIEN flood to the destruction of the US military and fall from influence of America on the world stage-- all orchestrated by those pulling the POTUS" strings (Puppet of the US)-- that America must not change fundamentally but must return to it´s fundamental objectives as set forth in the US Constitution!

We are NOT at a crossroads--we are many miles away from the crossroads GOING DOWN THE WRONG ROAD!!!!

We are almost to the point of no return because the so-called "conservative" party has sold us out for big business. They have sold us out for big government and big taxes just as long as they are the ones in charge.

The American people are trying to gather the will to create coalitions to fight this tyrant, but are made fun of, put down, disavowed, and made to seem like they don´t matter by both parties and the media.

Our Liberty and Freedom is under assault every day and people cannot believe that "its THAT bad" because they are too busy trying to survive and raise their families while the America they grew up in has slowly been changed and now is RAPIDLY being devalued by this invastion of persons who will drain our resources to the breaking point.

We are in the middle of a Constitutional crisis because we have lost the "separation of powers" since anyone challenging this is put down. We have scandal after scandal and there are so many we cannot keep up with them.

We are supposed to take our leaders at their word when they blatantly and willfully LIE to us, and think they can get away with this every time.

We celebrate our Independence from a tyrannical King George III this year, but how much longer before we are commanded to worship Barack Obama?

Its up to each of us to be a beacon of truth against those would would take it from us! Eagles UP!!!

John Podesta, one of President Obama´s closest White House advisers, counts among his key financial supporters Hansjorg Wyss, a reclusive Swiss billionaire whose company conducted illegal human experiments that resulted in the deaths of three elderly patients. Justice Department attorneys negotiated a $23.8 million plea deal in 2011 with Synthes Inc., and Norian Corporation, its wholly owned subsidiary, and sent four of its U.S. executives to prison. The money was paid to the federal government. Two of the victims died in a California hospital and the third perished in a Texas medical facility. In 2012, Los Angeles native Max Steinberg traveled to Israel for the first time, on a 10-day trip sponsored by Birthright Israel. A few months later, he joined the Israel Defense Forces. On Sunday, he died fighting in Gaza, leaving behind his parents, who will now take their first trip to Israel to bury their 24-year-old son. There are many people to blame for Steinberg’s death. There is the Hamas fighter behind the weapon that actually killed him. There are the leaders, on both sides, who put him in Gaza, and the leaders behind all of the wars between Israel and

Last month, Ukraine quietly asked the United States and NATO for sensitive equipment to jam the radars that Russian anti-aircraft systems use to lock their missiles on planes. As the United States and NATO last month began to publicly acknowledge the sophisticated Russian anti-aircraft systems moving into rebel held areas of eastern Ukraine, the government in Kiev asked for gear that might be used to counter those weapons. According to a former senior U.S. defense official who has worked closely with Ukraine’s military and a former head of state who has consulted with the government there, Kiev last month requested the radar

Remember the presidential race between Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Clinton, the front runners eight years ago, each tough as nails, each combat-tested and raring to go? It was one for the ages, except it was not: Rudy dropped out before the gates opened, Hillary met a community organizer, and we all know the rest. But the race that took place was almost as thrilling: a true neck and neck between John McCain and Barack Obama, who entered September in a virtual tie. McCain was leading on Sept. 15 when the fiscal system went bust, taking with it the entire economy: a nail-biter

Tuesday, President Obama visited the Dutch Embassy in Washington, D.C., and wrote in a condolence book for the victims of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, “We will not rest until we are certain that justice is done.” He then departed for a three-day fundraising trip to the West Coast. Obama’s pledge that “we will not rest until . . . ” may sound familiar to you. In fact, the pledge is so chronically overused, and issued so casually, that it no longer carries much meaning. Here’s a brief history: April 9, 2009: “We will not rest until we reach a day when not one

The news media, especially the Washington Post, is giving the so-called antiwar group Code Pink prominent coverage for the protests against Israel during its current defensive war with Hamas in Gaza. What the Post and the rest of the media don’t report is that Code Pink is allied with the Hamas and has “diplomatic” relations with the terrorist group. In June 2009 Code Pink made a trip to Hamas-controlled Gaza. According to reports by two participants, Code Pink had such a close relationship with Hamas that the terrorists literally rolled out the red carpet for Code Pink and that a Code Pink

The ‘Down Payment’ Ploy, Coming Right Up: Immigration “comprehensivists” claim Obama’s promised executive actions to protect illegal immigrants constitute a kind of doomsday weapon directed at the Republican party. If Obama acts boldly to offer de facto legalization to, say, “up to half of the undocumented population” of 11 million illegals living here, it will cement an unshakeable bond between Latino voters and their political champion — or so the argument goes. The more Republicans complain and stamp their feet the more they’ll “lastingly” alienate this growing ethnic bloc, predicts Ron Brownstein. ** But hasn’t Obama more obviously put himself in

Texas Gov. Rick Perry is sending up to 1,000 National Guard troops to the Lone Star State´s border with Mexico in an attempt to contain the flood of illegal immigrants entering the U.S. Perry can do this because under the Constitution, state governors are the commanders in chief of the guard, which is the modern equivalent of colonial militias. Perry´s action has the potential to change the political dynamics of the immigration reform debate but it depends upon whether it makes a discernible difference in the situation on the border. As the New York Times predictably described it, Perry´s move

The notion that Elizabeth Warren should challenge Hillary Clinton for the Democratic Party presidential nomination has been optimistically tossed around in left-wing circles for a while now. Activists at Netroots Nation recently chanted ”Run, Liz, run.” And no doubt, the excitement generated by Warren is a function of her ideological sincerity—a sincerity that’s most obvious when contrasted with Hillary Clinton’s lack of earnestness and pandering. Still, it seems to me that a lot of people are overestimating the appeal, uniqueness, and popularity of Warren. What’s most enticing about Warren right now is the perception of her, not the reality. The 2-1 ruling said such subsidies can be granted only to people who bought insurance in an Obamacare exchange run by an individual state or the District of Columbia—not on the federally run exchange HealthCare.gov. "Section 36B plainly makes subsidies available in the Exchanges established by states," wrote Senior Circuit Judge Raymond Randolph in his majority opinion, where he was joined by Judge Thomas Griffith. The Senate hasn’t been so polarized since Reconstruction; the House has not been so divided since around 1900. As measured by laws passed, the current Congress is on track to be among the least productive in our republic’s history. How did this happen? One of the main causes has not gotten enough attention: the party primary system. The reasons behind the shocking primary defeat last month of Representative Eric Cantor of Virginia, who
