Bush Center Immigration Reform
Panel Ignores Border Security

Breitbart Texas, by Bob Price

Original Article

HOUSTON, Texas—The George W. Bush Institute held an immigration reform panel this week that completely ignored any meaningful discussion of border security. The panelists called for a "bipartisan approach" on fixing the immigration system. The panelists claimed immediate immigration reform would somehow reduce the burden on taxpayers, improve the economy, and ensure long-term health for the Republican Party. The panel’s message was being addressed, not just to the audience, but to the wider conservative voters of Texas, according to an article by David Flick in the Dallas Morning News. “The only way we will get absolute security at our borders is

It is absolutely infuriating to read pieces like this. No one seems to care about the sovereignty and security of this nation. It makes me angry and sick.

What do you expect as these are all cheap foreign labor and amnesty supporters, the cheap foreign labor faction is the exact group who started the mass uncontrolled illegal immigration situation in the beginning by hiring illegal aliens.

Imagine if a conservative could magically open a fence and let millions of conservatives into the country. Would any of these clowns still preach about "acts of love"?

The name Bush cannot be associated with any credible measures to provide border security. The Bush dynasty represents the corporate oligarchy that wants cheap labor.

One of the hardest things for me and my family has been taking off the rose-colored glasses where the Bushes are concerned. It´s painful for many many of us. So, this is why I am not surprised at this panel. OP, yes, infuriating in that a family with two former Presidents has no interest in our security or sovereignty MUCH LESS how the invasion affects so many average American towns. They have their fences and security. Their property will never be invaded by drug runners at night.

Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) found himself in some hot water on Friday. According to Time Magazine’s Zeke Miller, the Senate Majority Leader “drew laughter from an Asian audience Thursday with a pair of Asian-themed jokes.” “I don’t think you’re smarter than anybody else, but you’ve convinced a lot of us you are,” Reid said, deploying an Asian stereotype with batting an eye. “One problem that I’ve had today is keeping my Wongs straight,” he added, noting that the common Asian surname has apparently made it difficult for him to distinguish one Asian-American from another. My hunch about most low-information voters, a.k.a. most voters, is that they’d struggle to name who the vice president is when asked. We’re lucky if they’re cognizant of what happened to James Foley at all, let alone Obama’s reaction to it. “As a general rule, I think that he’s right that you can’t be held hostage to the news cycle — the man deserves a bit of downtime,” said Jim Manley, a longtime Democratic strategist. “But in this particular instance, I think a lot

The mother of Michael Brown, the unarmed black teenager shot dead two weeks ago, has said that meeting Attorney General Eric Holder has given her hope that her son might one day get justice. The sequence of events that led to her son’s death remain unclear, but earlier this week Lesley McSpadden and her son’s father Michael Brown, Sr. paid for an autopsy which concluded that their son had been shot six times, twice in the head. The shooting has triggered days of rioting reflecting long-simmering racial tensions in a town of mostly black residents and a majority white police

On Wednesday, the White House leaked a classified special forces operation to rescue American hostages in Syria. The reason: political cover. The cost: so far, unknown. But this much, we know: The politicized leak of this operation cut through the fog of war to let our enemies know exactly what happened that day in the desert, and because of that, future attempts to free American hostages will be more difficult to plan, farther between, and more dangerous to carry out. On Wednesday, Pentagon spokesman Rear Admiral John Kirby confirmed reports of the U.S. military’s failed clandestine hostage rescue operation in
