Sheila Jackson Lee: The Border
Children Need Lollipops, Not
Deportation

Breitbart TV, by Pam Key

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 7/3/2014 9:05:53 PM

Thursday at a field hearing in Texas pertaining to the surge of unaccompanied minors at the U.S.-Mexico border, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) balked at the suggestion of Homeland Security Chairman Rep. Mike McCaul (R-TX) that the children filling the border facilities need to be detained and deported by holding up a bag of lollipops to demonstrate her view that compassion not deportation is in order. Referring to the illegal immigrant minors as "homeless children," Jackson Lee said, "I took lollipops along with my colleagues into the detention center where children were. I wasn´t armed. I wasn´t fearful for my life.

Comments:
Just looking at that pathetic, ignorant woman makes my blood pressure rise to unhealthy levels. The expression on McCaul´s face is priceless.

There is more than one way to be armed, and from all the reports I have been reading, these kids are armed with diseases that could run through the population and create as much harm as they would if they had guns.
SJL is a one dimensional thinker and that is still a problem for her.

The Dimocrats are never motivated by what *they* think is "right", they are only motivated by what *we* think is wrong. They will do anything to damage what traditional Americans hold us as good, correct, proper.

For example, how many of the Dims actually think homosexuality is good/right? I´ll bet very few. But they know we think its wrong, so they do everything they can to shove that in our face.

Illegal immigration is similar. They know its bad for the country, but more importantly, they know we think its wrong. So they are going out of their way to carry it to the extreme just so they can exact some revenge on traditional America.

In early June 1964, a group of Republican governors sought to wrestle control of their party from Barry Goldwater, the Arizona conservative who was about to lead the GOP to one of the most crushing defeats in its history. The governors saw a disaster in the making, and sought a moderate candidate who could capture the imaginations of grassroots Republicans—but also beat President Lyndon Johnson in the general election. Led by Ohio’s James Rhodes—the Republican Governors Association was meeting in Cleveland, and Rhodes was a legendary vote counter—the group included Pennsylvania’s William Scranton and later New York’s Nelson Rockefeller. His cynical grandstanding was rightly condemned — but he was hardly alone. Cruz agreed to speak to this group, which included bishops of the Catholic and Orthodox Churches, ostensibly out of solidarity, but took the occasion to antagonize them over their insufficient praise for Israel, then smeared them as anti-Semites before dropping the mic.
