Another Reagan landslide
New York Post, by Editorial

Original Article

Looks like another win for the Gipper. Many news outlets are highlighting a new Quinnipiac Poll in which Barack Obama is ranked the worst president since World War II. Obama now ranks even lower than the man he blames for everything, his predecessor George W. Bush. Not so well reported is that Ronald Reagan is rated the best post-war president. The poll isn’t even close. Reagan polls at double the second-place winner, Bill Clinton, and more than four times JFK. We think we understand why. In foreign policy, Reagan’s “peace through strength” philosophy was derided at the time by liberals as reckless warmongering — but

Comments:
I sure wish we could have a candidate like Reagan run in 2016. With people like Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, etc. being pushed on us it´s difficult to believe we will experience another Reagan type landslide.

I only hope I live long enough for historians/academics/pundits to finally admit how incompetent Obama has proven to be as the Leader of the Free World AND to acknowledge their role in foisting this fraud on the American people!!

Wonderful! Don´t forget that Democrat liberals and RINO liberals still harbor hatred for Reagan.

IMO Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz are the only ones on the scene today that carry the Reagan mantle.

There won´t be any landslide for Republicans again. Voter fraud is the game for Democrats. Ignoring the border is just another example of voter fraud. These people crossing over will get drivers licenses and then register to vote. And the Democrats will be more than happy to help. It´s over.

By today´s standards, President Reagan would have been called a RINO by the usual suspects when he was in office. Will someone please name one so-called "liberal Republican" (or whatever) today who hates Reagan?

Carter gets off way too easy in this poll.

Saying President Reagan would be called a RHINO today is just drinking the medias koolaide. It is their attempt to make people like Palin and Cruz seem ´extreme´. Sheeple need to start thinking for themselves, instead of letting others do the thinking for them. Reagan exemplified true conservatism and is an American hero. Today´s GOP, with few exceptions, are cowards and doormats for our current communist take over. People like Thad Cochran, John McCain, Mitt Romney,Paul Ryan, ect, ect....they are more afraid of media backlash than any harm they do to our country.

A fiery Al Sharpton addressed the Rally for Michael Brown Sunday afternoon and told the community to stand up for justice against what he warned would be smear attacks and calls for silence disguised as calls for peace. He also told agitators not to take advantage of Brown’s death by using the tensions as an excuse to loot. “Don’t take advantage of their children,” Sharpton said. “There’s a difference between activists and thugs. “Don’t loot in Michael’s name. They say a prosecutor could get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, and this always seemed like hyperbole, until Friday night a Texas grand jury announced an indictment of governor Rick Perry. The “crime” for which Perry faces a sentence of 5 to 99 years in prison is vetoing funding for a state agency. The conventions of reporting — which treat the fact of an indictment as the primary news, and its merit as a secondary analytic question — make it difficult for people reading the news to grasp just how farfetched this indictment is. The Obama administration has done little to calm racial tensions as they spread from Manhattan to St. Louis to Los Angeles. Quite the opposite, some top officials have fueled African-American fears of racism with false accusations of anti-black discrimination. Attorney General Eric Holder’s race-baiting is no secret. Justice Department documents show the nation’s top cop gave thousands of dollars to help the Rev. Al Sharpton organize marches protesting the death of Trayvon Martin. Now he’s sent the civil-rights unit to St. Louis to do the same thing in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown. Less known, however, is the role of Labor Secretary Thomas
