Another Reagan landslide
New York Post, by Editorial

Original Article

Looks like another win for the Gipper. Many news outlets are highlighting a new Quinnipiac Poll in which Barack Obama is ranked the worst president since World War II. Obama now ranks even lower than the man he blames for everything, his predecessor George W. Bush. Not so well reported is that Ronald Reagan is rated the best post-war president. The poll isn’t even close. Reagan polls at double the second-place winner, Bill Clinton, and more than four times JFK. We think we understand why. In foreign policy, Reagan’s “peace through strength” philosophy was derided at the time by liberals as reckless warmongering — but

Comments:
I sure wish we could have a candidate like Reagan run in 2016. With people like Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, etc. being pushed on us it´s difficult to believe we will experience another Reagan type landslide.

I only hope I live long enough for historians/academics/pundits to finally admit how incompetent Obama has proven to be as the Leader of the Free World AND to acknowledge their role in foisting this fraud on the American people!!

Wonderful! Don´t forget that Democrat liberals and RINO liberals still harbor hatred for Reagan.

IMO Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz are the only ones on the scene today that carry the Reagan mantle.

There won´t be any landslide for Republicans again. Voter fraud is the game for Democrats. Ignoring the border is just another example of voter fraud. These people crossing over will get drivers licenses and then register to vote. And the Democrats will be more than happy to help. It´s over.

By today´s standards, President Reagan would have been called a RINO by the usual suspects when he was in office. Will someone please name one so-called "liberal Republican" (or whatever) today who hates Reagan?

Carter gets off way too easy in this poll.

Saying President Reagan would be called a RHINO today is just drinking the medias koolaide. It is their attempt to make people like Palin and Cruz seem ´extreme´. Sheeple need to start thinking for themselves, instead of letting others do the thinking for them. Reagan exemplified true conservatism and is an American hero. Today´s GOP, with few exceptions, are cowards and doormats for our current communist take over. People like Thad Cochran, John McCain, Mitt Romney,Paul Ryan, ect, ect....they are more afraid of media backlash than any harm they do to our country.

A Democratic candidate running against Alabama Rep. Mike Rogers shocked Twitter users Monday when he compared Republicans in Congress to Islamic State militants. J.T. Smith, of Phenix City, is the Democratic nominee to represent Alabama’s District 3, The Birmingham News reported. “The greatest country on earth is being bullied from within. Actions of Republicans in congress are worse than #ISIL,” he tweeted on Labor Day to more than 3,000 followers. The tweet was still active as of Tuesday afternoon. The Islamic State group, formerly the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), made headlines again Tuesday for a video that

Say what you will about Barack Obama, but his approach to the Middle East has been ruthlessly consistent. He was elected on the promise to end America’s involvement in the post-9/11 wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He didn’t fulfill those promises as rapidly as his supporters wished – he preferred what his advisers thought would be a “responsible” retreat rather than a full-fledged bug-out, and in Afghanistan masked his withdrawal timetable behind a temporary troop surge – but he’s made and making good on his word. No event – not the slow-motion collapse of post-Bush Iraq, nor the many failures

Barack Obama left for a three-day European swing Tuesday afternoon without saying a single word in response to a terrorist video showing the beheading of Steven Sotloff, the second American journalist to die that way on camera. The president´s departure came amid equally deafening swirls of helicopter rotors and tough questions about whether and when the U.S. will strike back in a meaningful and public way against ISIS, the self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham. News of Sotloff´s execution broke online at 1:05 p.m. as White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest prepared for his daily briefing with reporters; he

Wisconsin prosecutors have selectively targeted conservative groups to effectively chill their speech, lawyers for a conservative activist detailed in a Tuesday filing with a federal appeals court. Eric O´Keefe, director of the limited government advocacy group the Wisconsin Club for Growth, in February sued prosecutors over a secret investigation into potential campaign finance violations by conservative groups during recall elections. Two judges have already rejected the legal theory offered by prosecutors and the probe has been halted, but prosecutors have asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit to reopen the case.

The number of illegal immigrants crossing into the United States would surge more than five times the current wave of 90,000 if President Obama grants amnesty to up to 6 million undocumented people as many advocates expect, according to an immigration expert. “It could hit nearly half a million people,” said Jessica M. Obama has hinted that he plans to wait until after the upcoming midterm elections before unveiling his executive order, an action that

BEIRUT — An Internet video purports to show the beheading of U.S. journalist Steven Sotloff by the Islamic State group. Sotloff, who freelanced for Time and Foreign Policy magazines, had last been seen in Syrian in August 2013 until he appeared in a video released online last month by the Islamic State group that showed the beheading of fellow American journalist James Foley. Dressed in an orange jumpsuit against the backdrop of an arid Syrian landscape, Sotloff was threatened in that video with death unless the U.S. stopped airstrikes on the group in Iraq. Control of the US Senate largely hinges on the outcome of election in 12 states. In half of these contests, the Democrat candidate is the scion of rich political legacies. In their own way, these contests will test the proposition that America is a land without an aristocracy. Obama´s "Dreams of My Father" may be less a memoir than a political blueprint. For many Democrat candidates this year, their last name is their greatest political asset. In Arkansas, Sen. Mark Pryor is seeking reelection for a seat long held by his father, and former Governor, David Pryor. Colorado Sen. Mark Udall

President Obama needs to take action to stop Islamic State (Isis) militants from targeting cities in America and Western Europe, two senators have warned. Without offering specifics on any threats or suggestions on how to confront them, the leaders of the Senate and House of Representatives intelligence committees urged the White House to work to prevent the Islamic State extremists from launching attacks on US soil. The bipartisan pair shared a dire warning against Isis, which now has control of vast swathes of Syria and Iraq, has killed civilians from that region and beheaded American journalist James Foley. “This is

On TV, incompetence is funny, sometimes hilarious. Jackie Gleason made a career of it on the old “Honeymooners” show; Tom Haverford is absurdly incapable on “Parks and Recreation”; and Michael Scott brought the Peter Principle to new heights in “The Office.” But in real life, incompetence can be dangerous, even life-threatening (think a real-life Homer Simpson actually in charge of safety at a nuclear power plant). That’s where America finds itself nearly six years into the presidency of Barack Obama. There’s no question Mr. Obama has all but checked out. If you were in a room with Bill Clinton, he would discover the one issue out of 100 on which you agreed; he would probe you with questions, comments, suggestions; and he would tell you that you enabled him to understand it far better than he ever had before. Some black folks embrace victim status because it provides cover for their laziness and irresponsible lifestyles. Black Judases preach a false, evil gospel of victimhood-ism for profit. Between 1970 and 1990, the population of Philadelphia shrank by a quarter, dropping from 1.95 to 1.59 million. Like many American cities, it seemed caught in a downward spiral. Since then – like many American cities – Philadelphia has stabilized. The population now appears to have bottomed out at the millennium, and has been regaining residents over the past decade. But as it rebounds, Philly is becoming a different kind of city. In the two most recent decades, which comprise the bounce of the city’s population curve, owner-occupied housing dropped even more steeply than in the ’70s and ’80s. Between 2000 and
