‘Clinton: the musical’

New York - It’s tough being Hillary Clinton. Her book’s a flop, she’s angered ordinary Americans with crass remarks about money and now her husband’s sex life is a New York musical. The lofty ideals and sordid scandal of the eight-year Clinton White House have been rolled into a two-hour, two-act musical satire making its U.S. premiere in the Big Apple on July 18. Looked upon affectionately as one of America’s best presidents despite his human flaws, Clinton treads the boards played by two characters: super-smart statesman William and bed-hopping Bill. “Sunday morning” Bill dreams of universal health care, welfare

This play will undoubtedly be a wild success since the liberal elites adore Bubba. The promoters probably are libs, the attendees mostly will be libs, the adoring press are libs....it will be a hypocritical lib-fest excusing Bubba´s inexcusable behavior and celebrating his zest for life....he´s such a lovable guy! This is how the entertainment Left institutionalizes immorality. I´m sure the playgoers will get lots of yuks out of Clinton´s adultery, philandering, and perversity while Hillary sings, "Youuuuu ain´t got no booooty" and Monica does a Groucho Marx with a cigar and fake Hitler mustache.

Yes, that´s certainly entertaining as we arrive halfway into the postmodern era of moral equivalence, moral relevance and the slippery slideshow of Babylonian excess.

Way to go, New York. Why not decorate the playhouse entrance with some Mapplethorpe and Serrano artwork while you´re at it?

President Obama told Democratic donors Wednesday night that most Americans don’t have time to think about the details of the Benghazi terrorist attack or the problems with Obamacare. Speaking at a fundraiser at the Los Angeles home of “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal” creator Shonda Rhimes, the president took his usual shots at the Republican Party, suggesting its members are focused on the wrong issues and frequently “obfuscate and they bamboozle and sometimes don’t say what’s true.” And because people are not familiar with the intricacies of many public-policy issues, Republicans can get away with such obfuscation, he said. “The Republican

OAKLAND, Calif. — Hillary Rodham Clinton launched a new campaign Wednesday — to encourage parents to talk, read and sing to their babies. The initiative is aimed at raising awareness, especially among low-income families, about the importance of talking, reading and singing to babies starting from birth. Research shows that such activity can boost children´s brain development, vocabulary and school readiness. "The brain research is not only telling

The Senate hasn’t been so polarized since Reconstruction; the House has not been so divided since around 1900. As measured by laws passed, the current Congress is on track to be among the least productive in our republic’s history. How did this happen? One of the main causes has not gotten enough attention: the party primary system. The reasons behind the shocking primary defeat last month of Representative Eric Cantor of Virginia, who

A lakefront mansion. Dueling movie producers. Super agents joining the fray. A drunken driving arrest. The possible hiring of private investigators. The divorce of Michael Moore has this normally sedate community northeast of Traverse City all atwitter. The filmmaker, 60, who split his time between a home here and one in New York, is leaving his wife of 22 years, Kathy Glynn. By reaching a settlement, Moore avoids a trial that could have aired dirty laundry common in high-proile breakups and impugned his long-hewn image as a common man by disclosing details of his comfortable life.
