Obama and the Culture of Death
American Thinker, by Eileen F. Toplansky

Original Article

Posted By:tisHimself, 7/3/2014 5:51:10 AM

By its own admission, the Arab world loves death more than it loves life. Consider that "during all periods of their history, the ancient Egyptians seem to have spent much of their time thinking of death and making provisions for their afterlife. The vast size ... and the ubiquity of their funerary monuments bear testimony to this obsession." Consider that the Palestinian world teaches its children to embrace shahid, or martyrdom. It is an aberrant culture where parents celebrate their own children´s deaths by the promotion of suicide terrorism.

B´Tslem and Jewish Voice for Peace , Zochrot and Machsom Watch, (which are all Jewish human rights groups) tell a very different story than Mizz Toplansky´s bigoted view. Israel has killed far more people and far more kids than Palestinian terrorists have. "Rabbi" Schneerson and his Lubavitcher sect teach that Gentiles are subhumans, unequal to the Master Race of UberJews. Schneerson has met his maker, so he has found out, like Ariel Sharon, that his racist, bigoted views are wrong. And then there are the Illegal Alien settlers who teach their kids to hate all Gentiles. Try visiting the Yitzhar settlement in Palestine and see how you get treated if you are not a Jew. Funny how so many settlers are atheists who dont even believe in God, but they sure do believe He gave them Palestine.

Mitt Romney 2016? Advisers try to

Talk to any of Mitt Romney’s closest political advisers, and the answer is the same: He won’t run for president in 2016. “I take Mitt at his absolute word. He’s not running,” says Ron Kaufman, Republican national committeeman for Massachusetts and a senior adviser to Mr. Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign. “He’s been very clear – he loved running, gave it his best, and lost,” Mr. Kaufman told this reporter at the RNC’s summer meeting in Chicago last week. “Now he’s helping the Republicans win the Senate.” Romney’s former finance chair, Spencer Zwick, has also put out

“Great nations need organizing principles – and ‘Don’t do stupid stuff’ is not an organizing principle.” So said former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton in an interview with The Atlantic. So why is she doing stupid things? The Washington Post called her “blunt” criticism of the Obama administration “surprising.” Well, it’s certainly not surprising to anyone who has followed her career. Don’t forget: she made her debut as a Wellesley College senior. She bluntly told off Massachusetts Sen. Edward M. Brooke. Sen. Brooke, a liberal Republican, was the first black man elected to the Senate since Reconstruction.

I was surprised by the statement made by former Florida governor Jeb Bush at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority conference in 2013. “Immigrants create far more businesses than native-born Americans. Immigrants are more fertile, and they love families, and they have more intact families, and they bring a younger population. Immigrants create an engine of economic prosperity.” (Aaron Blake, Jeb Bush: U.S. Economy needs immigrants because they’re ‘more fertile,’ Washington Post, June 14, 2013)

This week, ProPublica released a report on the financial (and moral) corruption of a Tea Party group operating under the name Move America Forward, which was founded by one Sal Russo. Russo also helped start the Our Country Deserves Better PAC, aka the Tea Party Express. Move America Forward has run fake drives to give care packages to troops, stolen images of other charitable campaigns and passed them off as its own, and trumpeted a nonexistent partnership with Walter Reed Hospital — all while funneling very real millions to itself. The group is an industry leader at taking your Tea

Libertarian Folly: Why Everybody

American Thinker, by Selwyn Duke    Original Article

There is this notion, one we hear more and more, that the Republican Party has to shed the social issues to seize the future. “Social issues are not the business of government!” says thoroughly modern millennial. It’s a seductive cry, one repeated this past Tuesday in an article about how some young libertarians dubbed the “Liberty Kids” are taking over the moribund Los Angeles GOP. Oh, wouldn’t the political landscape be simple if we could just boil things down to fiscal responsibility? But life is seldom simple.

During the past few days, the extremist group known as the Islamic State has made significant advances. After consolidating its gains since the fall of Mosul and other Sunni areas, the group sought to move toward Baghdad. For now, that advance has been blocked by Shiite militias, what remains of the Iraqi forces and assistance from Iran and the United States. It is evident, however, that the Islamic State has amassed enough manpower and resources to move against the Kurdish region. Last month, a curious thing happened: After a long day of work, my husband showed up on our doorstep with a six-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon. “It was on sale,” he said, offering up the iconic red, white, and blue cans. “If the hipsters like it, how bad can it be?” (Spoiler alert: pretty bad.) What you need to know about my husband is that, while I think he’s cool, he’s not, you know, hipster cool. Earlier this year, he asked me what Coachella was. And he’s been to Brooklyn exactly zero times. As such, his buying PBR is the perfect example of

The Senate minority leader, long reviled among many on the right for what they see as kowtowing to Democrats, is in a tough race for his seat—and in trouble with the Tea Party. If Alison Lundergan Grimes pulls off an upset victory over Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in November, she may have Tea Partiers to thank. But don’t expect conservative voters to rally to Grimes—they simply aren´t getting behind McConnell. Although the five-term Republican ended up winning a a tough primary challenge from businessman Matt Bevin handily, the race was one of the most vicious and ugly this cycle

It turns out that Bill Clinton had Osama bin Laden on his mind mere hours before al Qaeda attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Speaking to a group of Australian businessmen on Sept. 10, 2001, Clinton said he once had the opportunity to kill bin Laden, but decided not to because it would have led to the deaths of innocent civilians. An audio recording of the remarks was released for the first time today by Australian media.

I´ve also expressed skepticism about the notion he would run again. But let´s not let "a foolish consistency" cloud our judgment. There is reason to believe that a third try wouldn´t be an absurd venture. First, in the intervening years since 2012 — and on a range of issues, not the least of which is

Violence continues in Ferguson, Missouri. It began on August 9 with the death of Michael Brown, an unarmed African-American teenager cut down by a white cop’s bullets. Peaceful demonstrations turned into looting, the local police went in with rubber bullets and tear gas, all hell broke loose and, eventually, Missouri’s governor pulled out the local police and sent in state officers instead. But the rioting only paused; it didn’t cease. While they can explore these years of foreign policy disaster and domestic malaise at leisure, the rest of us have 29 more months to see just how awful things can get before he slides off to a lucrative retirement. But those who want to start the post-mortem on this historic presidency would do well to read Jackson Diehl’s most recent Washington Post column in which he identifies Obama’s hubris as the key element in his undoing. McDonald’s has a problem. For the first time in 10 years, the company generated less revenue in a month than it did a year before, and it’s not a blip. The world’s biggest burger chain has been posting lagging results for some time, particularly in the United States.
