NSA Internet spying program
an ´effective tool,´ bipartisan
privacy board says

Fox News & Associated Press, by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 7/2/2014 7:52:00 PM

WASHINGTON – A federal watchdog group said Wednesday that the National Security Agency’s data collection and surveillance program has been “an effective tool” for the country. Seven months earlier, the same bipartisan group found fundamental flaws with another program, arguing in a January report that the NSA’s collection of domestic calling records “lacked a viable legal foundation” and recommended that it be shut down. But the latest report, voted on by the five-member board, found that the NSA´s collection of Internet data within the United States passes constitutional muster and employs "reasonable" safeguards designed to protect the rights of Americans.

Comments:
Oh that makes me feel better, especially while King Obama is ruling. s/o I´m sorry, but "bipartisan" means nothing to me anymore. The link below is for the members of that Oversight Board. I don´t trust anyone from the government anymore, I don´t care who they are.

Since obama appointed this privacy board, its conclusion is the product of a predetermined outcome. It is a disappointment that Fox News pronounced this board as "bipartisan" just because obama said so.

Bi-partisan is code for personally selecting a RINO who is really a demonrat. This so-called privacy board came to their conclusion because digging into NSA archives has resulted in blackmail data that is too good to waste.

Under an honest, serious, pro-American administration waging an information, as well as military, war against Islamic jihad, I doubt many of us would have strong misgivings about NSA activity. But under an anti-American administration that views American patriots, not jihadists, as the enemy, we have no reason whatsoever to trust the NSA. It´s all a question of motives at the very top.

Both the IRS and the NSA are in dire need of actual whistleblowers.

The next question is how is this “effective tool” to be used? To ferret out terrorists and other bad guys or to suppress a voting population and punish political enemies like everything you have done so far?

#2: Yes, I agree with you. Just like every news source in the world referred to the "inadvertent" outing of the CIA Station Chief in Kabul (wording that they all picked up from the original WaPo article.)

Yet Mumia, who publicly executed Officer Danny Faulkner on a Philly street -- in front of numerous witnesses -- is referred to as the "alleged" murderer.

The English language is precise...too bad we don´t use it precisely. Or honestly.

The battle in itself seemed tragically normal. Two Syrian opposition groups fought and there were heavy casualties on both sides. Then victorious rebels rifled through the pockets of the dead. One contained about $800 in cash -- and an American passport. Douglas McAuthur McCain, of San Diego, California, was killed over the weekend fighting for the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), according to the Free Syrian Army. Photos of McCain´s passport and of his body -- which feature a distinctive neck tattoo -- have been seen by NBC News. According to an activist linked to the Free Syrian

The National Republican Senatorial Campaign has developed a multi-level online computer game. The game, called "Mission Majority," is programmed to look like an 8-bit-era video game and features an elephant named Giopi (sounds like "GOP") as a playable character. The player runs and jumps, collecting "keys" to Republican victory and vanquishing bad guys like "taxers" and "mudslingers." A successfully destroyed baddie emits an embarrassing audio clip from Democrats like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Mark Pryor, and Bruce Braley. Here´s what the game looks like in action: To play, users must either enter their email address or log in with Facebook or

The FBI and Department of Homeland Security have sent out a bulletin to law enforcement officials warning that U.S. airstrikes in Iraq could provoke retaliation by Islamic State sympathizers in the U.S., Fox News has learned. The warning on Friday comes shortly after U.S. intelligence officials said there is evidence foreign fighters have returned to their home countries and started Islamic State cells. While there is no evidence of a credible plot against the U.S. now, the latest bulletin warns that the lone wolf nature of the threat would make it difficult to thwart. "It is difficult to predict triggers that will

One of the Senate Republicans in the gang of eight who forged a bipartisan immigration reform bill that passed the upper chamber last year urged President Obama to not take unilateral action in the face of House inaction. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) wrote in a letter to Obama today that he hoped “Senate action on this matter could serve as a catalyst for a humane but responsible reform that could ultimately achieve bicameral, bipartisan support,” but acknowledges the effort is now at a stalemate. “After the experience of the last 18 months, I have become convinced that there is no

An Al Sharpton-led memorial service yesterday for Michael Brown, the black 18-year-old thug who gave a white Ferguson, Mo. police officer a severe head injury while trying to seize his handgun, became the grotesque political rally some observers feared it would be. The distinctly anti-police tone of the service was proof that the lie that Brown tried to surrender to white police officer Darren Wilson, rather than trying to beat the life out of him, won’t die. The racial-grievance industry, egged on by President Obama, won’t let it go.

The terror group is demanding $6.6 million and the release of U.S. prisoners for the life of the young woman, who the family requested not be identified. She is the third of at least four Americans who were known to be held by ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. President Obama has done his share to fix the nation´s broken immigration system. He backed comprehensive changes along the lines of those championed by former president George W. Bush. He proposed solutions to the crisis of children from Central America showing up at the U.S. border. And, while waiting for Congress to act, his administration has vigorously enforced current law, deporting more than 2 million people who came here unlawfully. None of this has gotten him anywhere. House Republicans ignored a balanced and bipartisan immigration overhaul passed by the Senate. And Congress left town for its summer recess without acting on the

Democrat Michelle Nunn is running ahead of David Perdue in the race for the U.S. Senate in Georgia. The WSB-TV poll found that Mrs. Nunn has 47 percent to 40 percent edge over Mr. Perdue. The libertarian candidate, Amanda Swafford, received 3 percent, and 10 percent of the respondents were undecided. The winner of the race will replace retiring Sen. Saxby Chambliss. Mrs. Nunn, the daughter of former Georgia Sen. Sam Nunn, is seen as one of Democrats best bets to flip control of a GOP-held seat. Republicans need to flip six seats to win back the Senate.

FERGUSON, Mo. — It was 1 a.m. and Michael Brown Jr. called his father, his voice trembling. He had seen something overpowering. In the thick gray clouds that lingered from a passing storm this past June, he made out an angel. And he saw Satan chasing the angel and the angel running into the face of God. Mr. Brown was a prankster, so his father and stepmother chuckled at first. “No, no, Dad! When a federal appeals court ruled last month that a seemingly arcane wording flaw in the Affordable Care Act should invalidate a central part of the law, many of those who drafted the statute five years ago reacted with shock and anger. In 2009, they had spent months piecing together a compromise that sought to create a national system of subsidized insurance — but one run by the states. Now, they fear their work could be undone by what some call a "drafting error" and others portray as a political miscalculation. The judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals for

American black people are being lied to and the lies destroy them. They are being lied to by corrupt people like Attorney General Eric Holder and Al Sharpton Jr. and Jesse Jackson and the leftists in our news media. They are being told that their poverty is due to prejudice and that the police are targeting them out of bigotry. They are being told that the dreadful existence of slum life grew out of slavery and is being perpetuated by hatred. None of this is true.
