Thugs Run L.A. Classrooms,
Thanks To Obama Suspension Ban

Investor´s Business Daily, by Editorial

Education: As we predicted, the Obama regime´s anti-suspension policy is backfiring. Los Angeles teachers complain unsuspended violent kids are intimidating them and effectively ruling their classrooms. In 2011, the Education Department accused the Los Angeles Unified School District of discriminating against black boys, who were suspended for bad behavior at a disproportionate rate. The agency ordered it to reduce suspensions in the hopes that unruly minority students would stay in school and graduate. "The district shall develop and implement a comprehensive plan to eliminate the disproportionality in the discipline imposed on African-American students," the five-page decree says. The superintendent agreed

Comments:
Gee, no one could see that coming. s/o Obama and Holder are destroying our entire society. One of the teachers said she was terrified and bullied by a fourth-grade student who called her names and she told him to go to the office which was met with: ´No, b***h, and you and no one can make me.´ Behold the future Democrat voter! No wonder they are all out of control and are emboldened by Obama rule, they know nothing will happen to them. God help us all.

There´s that word again: Hope.

As with our international adversaries, if we just act kinder they´ll start liking us and behave.

What a stunning example of institutions run by bedwetting politically correct dimwitted liberals. If you incentivize thuggery, you will get more of it, not less. Send them to Catholic schools with nuns wielding birch boughs and a few might get the message.

All this does is hasten the collapse of the negro race into a criminal class. Forever condemned to violence, murder and prison. It´s the left´s fault, their programs, their ideology that has and is ruining an entire race of people. For some reason Holder, Obama et al think they are helping "their people". They could not be more wrong.

It´s impossible to teach when the kids have no respect for the teacher. I never understood why the teachers didn´t all just walk out. There are students who want to learn and in the words of today´s liberal ninnies, this is ´child abuse´. Obama et al are definitely fundamentally changing America for the worse and seem to be enjoying doing it. Gotta stop reading this stuff--it´s so depressing.

Whatever happened to "reform schools"???

My mother threatened me a few times, "If you don´t straighten up, you´ll be sent to reform school!"

She said her parents used that threat on her brothers all the time.

If they just quit using them, why?? Were they not effective?? the threat worked on me.

Just give them diplomas, and call it done.
That way we have 100% graduation rates.
No more classrooms.
Remember: education is discriminatory. One distinguishes between those who have mastered a skill and those who have not! How racist is that? We must outlaw all discrimination, especially on test scores. Everyone should get the same identical score, and no teacher should have the power to tell a student that the student made a mistake. Such power is discriminatory. Who knows, the student might be right.
Sheer absurdity.

Back when I went to public school in the 70s and 80s you could paddle kids that got out line and they had respect for the teachers. I also had some great teacher and some that were liberal nitwits even back then. Today I really can´t feel too sorry for them as the majority of them are liberal hacks posing as teachers. They voted for the current occupant in the White House and this is what they´ve gotten. I would say that it´s poetic justice but that would be too harsh.

The Obama administration is ramping up its response to West Africa´s Ebola crisis, preparing to assign 3,000 U.S. military personnel to the afflicted region to supply medical and logistical support to overwhelmed local health care systems and to boost the number of beds needed to isolate and treat victims of the epidemic. President Barack Obama planned to announce the stepped up effort Tuesday during a visit to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta amid alarm that the outbreak could spread and that the deadly virus could mutate into a more easily transmitted disease. In early June 1964, a group of Republican governors sought to wrestle control of their party from Barry Goldwater, the Arizona conservative who was about to lead the GOP to one of the most crushing defeats in its history.
