Obama´s poll fade becomes a slide
Investor´s Business Daily, by Andrew Malcolm

At his first Cabinet meeting of 2014 -- a "Year of Action," Obama promised -- the president declared, "I´ve got a pen and I´ve got a phone." That meant Obama intended to go around Congress, the equal branch of government he once vowed to work with, to get stuff done. [Snip] White House strategists arranged public appearances for Obama to look assertive, active, more vows on immigration and the economy, for instance. Everywhere Obama vows to circumvent the legislative branch, despite court warnings and a threatened House lawsuit over unrestrained executive actions. "Sue me!" he defiantly said Tuesday.

What I am afraid of is the great possibility that our, "leader" will desire, "revenge" from the voters. He is now scorned and his emotional insecurity and childish behavior will
crave vindictiveness, with an, "I´ll teach you and screw all of you" mentality.

Isn´t that enough to send in the US Marshall´s to march him off to the basement of Leavenworth?

Poll numbers for obama are hard to believe. Either they are only polling low information obamafone users or strictly DEMS. I have noted for sometime that pollsters no longer give their "margin of error" when reporting.

Desperate to project an appearance of competence, Obama called his cabinet to the Oval Office.

The president said, "I called you here to find out who you all are, since I´ve never met or spoken to any of you before now."

It´s going to be a nasty 2 1/2 years until he is gone. He doesn´t seem to care that things are falling apart. He just blusters more. Of course, that has worked in the past because the media propped him up and the public was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and thought he was, personally, a nice guy.

The public no longer trusts BO, doesn´t even like him much, and the media is scared that continued unconditional support of this pathetic loser will destroy them too.

What will he do if the Senate goes to Republicans and legislation that he doesn´t like piles up on his desk? The people will have spoken and the Congress will have spoken and it will become clear that BO is THE obstruction in Washington.

It will get nasty. Narcissists don´t do well when cornered.

As planned, President Obama, his minions and the largely-complicit D.C. political media are using the absence of Congress to build the anticipatory drumbeat about what exactly the chief executive intends to do by himself over the boiling issue of illegal immigrants. [Snip] Aides say Obama will move at "the end of summer," an intentionally vague time-frame. Our guess is shortly after Labor Day when he can focus public attention on his moves as the Nov. 4 midterm elections approach. Narcissist or not, every president wants to control the media narrative. This is especially so for disastrous presidencies like Obama´s.

This summer President Obama has attended a bumper crop of political fundraisers, now more than 400 since taking office. He claims he wants to work with the House Republicans he mocks as "hatin´ on" him. And, of course, Obama boasts of creating new jobs. In his weekly remarks last Saturday Obama has declared something like: "Our economy created over 200,000 new jobs in July.” [Snip]Those new monthly job figures he cites are true, as far as they go. Rep. Greg Walden gives the Weekly Republican Party Remarks: No matter where you stand on the issues, this much is clear: Something has gone terribly wrong in Washington. And Americans have good reason to be fed up. For nearly six years now, we’ve had an administration that trusts government more than you, that spends rather than saves, that believes change comes from desks in Washington and not kitchen counters like this one. Republicans have sought to do things differently. We’ve focused on solutions to rein in big government, and help grow our economy. The House has passed more than 40 jobs bills,

President Obama's weekly remarks: Hi, everybody. My top priority as President is doing everything I can to create more jobs and more opportunities for hardworking families to get ahead. On Friday, we learned that our economy created over 200,000 new jobs in July. That’s on top of about 300,000 new jobs in June. We’re now in a six-month streak with at least 200,000 new jobs each month. That hasn’t happened since 1997. All told, our businesses have created 9.9 million jobs over the past 53 months. That’s the longest streak of private-sector job creation in our history. Because of you — because of your hard work and determination —

Here´s a little good news story you won´t find in many places today. First, it doesn´t come out of Washington, D.C., which you already knew because it´s Good News. Second, it´s another victory in the little-noticed ongoing legal guerrilla war between conservatives and state government unions. Actually, two victories. It concerns workers who provide daycare services for low-income families across Illinois and receive state subsidies.

Here´s how twisted, even sadly comical, our politics have become under the once-promising, new-age Democrat president who was going to unite Americans in hope and change: Obama and his party now suggest Republicans impeach the man who has so often violates the law by rewriting the law to suit himself. And -- wait for it -- Republicans, who lead the successful impeachment drive against the last Democrat to serve two White House terms, are wisely resisting the useless idea.

So we´ve thoughtfully assembled a quick update of the more important news during this period: Russian President Vladimir Putin sent his reply to President Obama´s demand to rein in Russian insurgents scorching eastern Ukraine. Using Putin's Buk missiles, the rebels downed two more Ukrainian fighter jets; one pilot was killed, the other ejected over insurgents and his fate can only be guessed. Crash investigators arrived in the same area to poke through what's left of the Malaysian passenger jet wreckage downed by a previous Russian Buk.

THE PRESIDENT: Good afternoon, everybody. Welcome to the White House. Please be seated. For our forces in Afghanistan, the battle of Wanat was one of the most fierce of this entire war. Forty-eight Americans, along with their Afghan partners, were manning their small base, deep in a valley when they were attacked by some 200 insurgents. And those insurgents seemed determined to overrun an even smaller post just outside the base -- an elevated patch of boulders and sandbags defended by just nine American soldiers.

ATLANTA — In the early 2000s, a young researcher at the Centers for Disease Control named Greg Millett set out to solve an epidemiological mystery. Nobody could explain why black Americans, particularly black gay men, had such high rates of HIV infection compared to the rest of the population. How were they putting themselves in so much danger? What were they doing differently from everyone else? Millett began with a survey of the published research, but that only seemed to raise more questions. Study after study seemed to arrive at the same conclusion: Black gay men take fewer risks in the

Sen. Pat Roberts fended off an aggressive challenger Tuesday in the Kansas Republican primary, dealing another blow to a national tea party movement that has targeted longtime Washington incumbents. Milton Wolf, 43, a Leawood radiologist making his first run for public office, failed to pull the upset in the race against Roberts, 78, whose political dates to the late 1960s, when he was a congressional aide. After surviving the primary, Roberts is a huge favorite to win his fourth, six-year term in November. Obamacare plans have shrunk payments to physicians so much that some doctors say they won’t be able to afford to accept Obamacare coverage, NPR reports. Many of the eight million sign-ups in Obamacare exchanges nationwide already face more limited choices for physicians and hospitals than those in the private insurance market. But with low physician reimbursement rates, the problem could get even worse. For a typical quick patient visit, Dr. Doug Gerard, a Connecticut internist, told NPR a private insurer would pay $100 while Medicare would pay around $80. But Obamacare plans are more likely to pay closer to $80, which Gerard
