Another Deserter Surfaces:
Will Obama Prosecute?

Investor´s Business Daily, by Editorial

Original Article

Defense: Seeing his commander in chief turn a Muslim convert deserter into a national hero, another Muslim soldier — a double deserter — has finally turned himself in. He deserves no leniency. Following in the footsteps of Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl, Marine deserter Wassef Ali Hassoun has resurfaced in Virginia after years of faking his own kidnapping in Iraq. Like Bergdahl, Hassoun appears to have collaborated with the enemy. An Arabic translator, he refused to translate questions about Islam and showed jihadist clerics undue respect during interrogations. Later he abandoned his guard post at his base in Fallujah during the critical offensive

We all know the answer to that question. Look at the guy´s name. They state that "Under any other administration, they [Bergdahl and Hassoun] would be court-martialed and jailed." We aren´t exactly dealing with "any other administration." Obama makes FDR look like a piker.

FDR had some questionable people in his circle and the New Deal is at best a double edged sword and at worst just a sword used against us , but there seems little doubt that he was a patriot first and foremost, and he also kept the scum out of central and south America by dealing with SOB´s when necessary, but keeping them "our" SOBs.

Obama isn´t fit to shine his shoes.

Why didn´t this ugly pile of carp stay in Beirut where he was born? Why come back to Virginia? More work to do as part of Obama´s jihadi team?

President Obama was asked whether he´ll be delaying executive action on immigration until after the mid-term election. The terrorists of the Islamic State (ISIS, or ISIL) have taken their fight beyond their initial enemies--the U.S. and their Arab/Muslim rivals--and have declared their intent to challenge powers far beyond, including Russia. The notion of a global conflict might satisfy the Islamic State´s ideological vision of a Muslim caliphate, but it may also unite the fractured Great Powers to crush ISIS in a war that could spread across several continents. ISIS issued a threat to Russian president Vladimir Putin earlier this week, after the group seized control of a Syrian airfield with Russian jets and equipment supplied to the regime

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is currently traveling in Mexico, but he has absolutely no desire to discuss immigration reform or the crisis on the border. During remarks to the press, Christie actively challenged reporters who pressed him on the issue. NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — The National Council of Border Patrol Agents (NBPC) is responding to the increasing assaults against the agents who protect our border with the production of a documentary movie that tells their story. While violent assaults frequently leave agents injured and even hospitalized, U.S. Attorneys often fail to prosecute the illegal aliens who commit the assaults. As recently as last month, charges against an accused illegal alien drug smuggler who assaulted a Border Patrol agent while attempting to escape were dismissed. The documentary will tell the story of these agents and the outrageous behavior of the government

Thursday on "Kilmeade and Friends," Ret. U.S. Air Force Gen. Michael Hayden, the former director of the CIA and NSA, told Fox News Radio host Brian Kilmeade that because President Barack Obama preferred to read his intelligence briefings instead of engaging with officials and asking questions like former President George W. Bush, it was not easy to get the assessments across to the current commander-in-chief. Hayden said, "People like me have to accommodate to people like that," adding "my old job is easier when you are face to face," but he said, "President Obama absorbs information by reading and reflecting."

“We can fix these problems,” Paul Ryan tells me. He’s referring to the sluggish economy, the rising cost of living, broken immigration and health care systems, burdensome regulations, and stifling tax code. What would it take? The Republican Party has to win the Senate in 2014 and the White House in 2016. Easier said than done. Especially when conservatives face an enemy inside their own party: the GOP consultant class. “Everyone calls it ‘the Establishment,’” Ryan says. “That’s a loose word.” What he has in mind are Republican ad makers, lobbyists, public relations guys, media consultants, speechwriters, pollsters, retired officials, and fundraisers—the

New greenhouse gas emission regulations for planes may be getting ready for take-off. The Environmental Protection Agency this week informed the United Nations aviation program that it had begun investigating whether airplane emissions endangered public health. While that alone doesn´t amount to crafting rules, the "endangerment" finding was a necessary precursor for EPA emissions rules on power plants and cars. The agency said it expects to roll out a notice of proposed rulemaking by April 2015. The move will likely anger conservatives and industry representatives, who have said the EPA´s greenhouse gas regulations are overreaching and that they would make the U.S. less

In his autobiography, Dreams From My Father, the President wrote that in his teenage years “I tried my best to be cool at all times” (p. 82). It was only a few weeks ago that Gannett did the same. USA Today is Gannett´s flagship publication and enjoys the highest circulation of any other American newspaper. FRIENDSHIP, Maine -- Imagine Cape Cod without cod. Maine without lobster. The region´s famous rocky beaches invisible, obscured by constant high waters. It´s already starting to happen. The culprit is the warming seas - and in particular the Gulf of Maine, whose waters are heating up faster than 99 percent of the world´s oceans, scientists say. Long-established species of commercial fish, like cod, herring and northern shrimp, are departing for colder waters. Black sea bass, blue crabs and new species of squid - all highly unusual for the Gulf - are turning up in fishermen´s nets. The Gulf of Maine´s warming reflects broader

The home-cooked meal has long been romanticized, from ’50s-era sitcoms to the work of star food writer Michael Pollan, who once wrote, “far from oppressing them, the work of cooking approached in the proper spirit offered a kind of fulfillment and deserved an intelligent woman’s attention.” In recent years, the home-cooked meal has increasingly been offered up as the solution to our country´s burgeoning nutrition-related health problems of heart disease and diabetes. But while home-cooked meals are typically healthier than restaurant food, sociologists Sarah Bowen, Sinikka Elliott, and Joslyn Brenton from North Carolina State University argue that the stress that
