The Constitutional Lawyer in the
White House Has Lost Unanimously
at the Supreme Court 20 Times

PJ Media, by Bryan Preston

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 7/1/2014 9:11:06 PM

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has argued cases before the United States Supreme Court, successfully. President Barack Obama has not. He has never argued a case at the Supreme Court at all. That didn’t stop his spokesmen from playing the constitutional lawyer credential card when reacting to the Hobby Lobby defeat on Monday. Sen. Cruz is also an excellent troll, very much a match for Obama on that score. Obama treats matters of law as opportunities to troll — see both his handling of the border and his Obamacare abortifacient mandate. Obama is trolling everyone on one thing or another. Cruz is trolling

Comments:
You sure couldn´t tell that Obama has learned anything from these defeats. He has just gotten much, much worse. I still don´t believe he was a "Constitutional lawyer" anyway. In fact I don´t believe anything about him. He´s a complete fraud.

He wasn´t a Constitutional lawyer. He taught a class as a visiting lecturer.

Probably any lawyer could do the same thing--teach a class like that, just by preparing some lectures based on what he learned in law school. That doesn´t make him a Constitutional lawyer.

Obama is a fraud, OP, as you said. It´s just that the MSM hasn´t bothered to do due diligence on him that he keeps getting away with it.

He´s feeling the heat - that is why he is so animated. He´s in a hurry because he knows time is short. Impeachment hearing might proceed rapidly after November.

Follow up - checked US v Jones, Arkansas Fish and Game v US, PPL Corp v Commissioner of IRS, and Sekhar v US. For these 4 cases there were 10 reports in the Main Stream Media that I found in the first 10 pages of Google hits. I actually remembered the MSNBC story on US v Jones because it started "in this 5-4 unanimous decision...". I disregarded this article and two other articles in the last week talking about Obama´s horrible legal record. Thank God we elect Ted Cruz!

“I killed my neighbor’s pet dinosaur,” Alex Stone wrote in a classroom assignment earlier this week. That fictional slaying led to real-life handcuffs. On the first day of the new school year, the 16-year-old freshman at Summerville High School in Summerville, S.C., was directed by a teacher to pen a few sentences about himself and a Facebook-style “status” as part of an in-class assignment. Stone wrote about killing his neighbor’s pet dino, using a gun to “take care of the business.” His teacher notified school officials, who contacted the police. On Tuesday Stone’s locker and bookbag were searched, and no

WASHINGTON— President Obama is considering key changes in the nation’s immigration system requested by tech, industry and powerful interest groups, in a move that could blunt Republicans’ election-year criticism of the president’s go-it-alone approach to immigration. Administration officials and advocates said the steps would go beyond the expected relief from deportations for some immigrants in the U.S. illegally that Obama signaled he’d adopt after immigration efforts in Congress collapsed. Following a bevy of recent White House meetings, top officials have compiled specific recommendations from business groups and other advocates whose support could undercut GOP claims that Obama is exceeding his

President Obama’s job approval rating for handling foreign affairs has taken a tumble, nearing the dangerously low score George W. Bush received in his second term. Though Obama averaged a 50% approval rating for his foreign policy platform in his first term, that rating fell to 39% in his second term, according to anew Gallup poll released Thursday. Compared to the past nine presidential terms, only George W. Bush scored a lower rating (38%) in his second term, when the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan were on the brink of disaster. The summer of 2014 has been filled with nonstop international incidents. Crises include

The agency published a Current Intelligence Bulletin (CIB) on Friday that would advise the few workplaces that still allow smoking to end the practice, specifically targeting blue-collar workers in the construction and mining industries. The document, which will be open to public comment for 30 days, provided multiple recommendations from the CDC’s National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). President Obama returned to his vacation home at Martha’s Vineyard after briefly interrupting his vacation for two days of meetings in Washington, D.C. Obama met with his economic team Tuesday before leaving the White House at 4:22 pm to return to his vacation home. The National Security Council reacted, however, in a statement provided by spokesperson Caitlin Hayden. “We have seen a video that purports to be the murder of U.S. citizen James Foley by ISIL,” Hayden said.
