WH Press Sec: Obama Not Worried
About GOP Response to Executive Orders

Breitbart Big Government, by Caroline May

The Obama administration is not too concerned about possible Republican responses to its unilateral administrative actions on immigration. “What that they might sue?” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said laughing when asked Tuesday about possible Republican retaliation for the executive action. “They announced they were doing that last week,” he continued. “So, the prospect that Republicans might do even more to try to obstruct the president’s agenda I think is a little far-fetched. It seems to me they have tried every single thing they can think of already to block progress for this country so the fact that they

This should be no surprise: After demonstrating complete contempt of Congress, the Emperor is simply stating a similar Jacksonian contempt for the Judiciary.

As Andrew Jackson reportedly said following the Worchester v Georgia decision: [Chief Justice] "John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it!"

The remedy is impeachment - now.

Start impeachment proceedings and see how quickly this Fall´s Republican advantage evaporates.
Obama would LOVE for the House to impeach with Harry Reid´s Senate as insurance it will go no further than the House and then Obama can play the put-upon victim of Republican extremism and pull mucho votes from the lo-fos and no-fos.
It would have to be bi-partisan to have even a ghost of a chance and modern Dems have unfortunately proven to be completely without character or ethics.
Ain´t gonna happen.

This qualifies, it would seem, as a Constitutional Crisis.

When BO acts, dictates, makes demands against or without the Congress, in particular the House, the Chamber "closest to The People," he is assaulting us People as directly as possible.

We ought, individually AND corporately, to be outraged.

Too many of us are sheepish about asserting our interests, cringing when someone says we don´t care or we are selfish.

But there is "enlightened self interest" or "self interest, rightly understood" which balances our Right to pursue our interests with the obligations of citizenship.

BO lacks an understanding of Citizenship of free individuals in a Republic. Or, of course, he simply loathes the notion. Yes. It´s the latter.

The NCAA agreed on Tuesday to help athletes with head injuries in a proposed settlement of a class-action lawsuit that college sports’ governing body touted as a major step forward but that critics say doesn’t go nearly far enough. The deal, filed in US District Court in Chicago, calls for the NCAA to toughen return-to-play rules for players who receive head blows and create a $70 million fund to pay for thousands of current and former athletes to undergo testing to determine whether they suffered brain trauma while playing football and other contact sports. Gov. Pat Quinn today signed into law a measure to put a non-binding referendum on the fall ballot asking voters whether millionaires should be taxed at a higher rate — a move aimed at helping drive up Democratic turnout. The measure represents a Plan B for Quinn, who had supported efforts initiated by Democratic House Speaker Michael Madigan to have a binding constitutional amendment placed on the ballot to require millionaire incomes to pay an additional 3 percentage points above the current individual income tax rate. That plan went nowhere in the General Assembly. The ballot proposal signed by Quinn

You can understand President Obama´s current political problems -- and how those problems could make things very tough for his party in this fall´s midterm election -- in a single word. And that word is "competence". Obama was elected in 2008 on a stated promise that he would restore competence to government. He pitched himself as the antidote to "Heck of a job, Brownie" and the Bush years, the person who would always put the most qualified candidate in every job in his Administration.
