Dem Rep.: Obama Has Legal Authority
for Executive Actions on Immigration

Mediaite, by Evan McMurry

Representative Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) appeared on Morning Joe Tuesday morning, castigating the House GOP for sabotaging immigration reform and arguing that President Barack Obama has the legal authority to effect limited reforms via executive action. “If [Republicans] want to come back and discuss this, fine,” Gutierrez said. “But in the interim period, I believe the President of the United States has, already in statute, in the law, the ability to heal and put in a safe harbor millions of undocumented immigrants while the Congress of the United States finally decides that it’s going to take action.” Gutierrez specified the ability

This guy just oozes contempt and oiliness. What else would you expect from a Chicago Democrat who is a member of the "progressive" (Communist) caucus?

What would happen if Boehner NEVER did a recess for the rest of Obama´s term? House members could take turns being on the floor, even if one is there, there is no recess, right?
Last week, the Supremes voted 9-0 that only Congress can decide when it is on recess..no recess, no recess appointments, no Executive Orders, right?

So, the president has a solution? And he has statute, and law on his side? Then use it.

Why do Democrats want to support and condone illegal immigration?
They want an aggrieved group, that´s why.

The white liberal democrat establishment uses Mr. Gutierrez as the mouthpiece, but don´t be fooled he has no real authority.

Republicans simply should state, we support enforcing our laws, controlling our border, and LEGAL immigration process.

This would contrast to the liberal democrat establishments no enforcement, don´t control the border and encouraging illegal immigration.

Gutierrez represents one of the most gerrymandered districts in the nation, the 4th is the infamous "headphones" shaped district.

What´s noteworthy is that each election cycle Luis easily wins with 75-80% of the vote yet he always seems to total 80-90 thousand fewer voters than the Democrats in adjacent congressional districts who also win with 80% of the vote. In other words, he´s the Congressman from the district that doesn´t vote.

No he doesn´t. He can try and I am sure a man with the last name of Gutierrez would support such an attempt.

I think this man should open his home to some of the people he is so willing for the US Citizenry to support. Never mind that they don´t have proper inoculations, can´t read or write, need education on the use of hygiene facilities, ahem!, or the total social habits and cultures of this country.
He wants everyone else to pick up the responsibility. We´re 17 trillion in Debt!
Those who voted for him should ask him this direct question.

All the time Obama has been in office he could deploy border agents where ever he wanted.
Up until the border patrol UNION complained about all the sickness their members were getting from the children, Obama picked far inland away from any borders.
Now, the UNION has forced him to readjust on this.
Big deal.
It only proves Obama didn´t ever want to ´´secure the border,´´ until his own UNION forced him to.... a little.

Gutierrez is about as brilliant as that mule Durbin who says Obama can "borrow the authority" to do what he wants. Don´t recall any borrowing authority given to the Executive branch by the Constitution. As to Gutierrez, Obama can say all he wants, but legally he can do nothing that requires funds that have not been allocated by the Congress. But then hey, why should that stop this affirmative action president

All that is needed is slime ball progressives like Gutierrez, and "I´m gonna teach America a lesson it will never forget"-Obama. Dinesh D´Souza was absolutely right in his analysis of Obama which is why Obama is persecuting him. Obama WANTS America to be overwhelmed by immigrants ( dependents on government ) so that it loses its exceptionalism and looks like European socialism. ICE, Border Patrol, Homeland Security, and Immigration Court all report to the President. He absolutely has executive responsibility. So why hasn´t the processing time for immigration gone down? Why is the backlog at Immigration Court over a year? Why aren´t felons who have served years in prison picked up at the prison gate and immediately deported?

ISIS poses a threat to today’s liberal world-view analogous to the threat posed by national socialism in the 1930s. But ISIS makes the Nazis look like pikers. ISIS, flying the black flag of Islam, murders, rapes and pillages with breathtaking speed and efficiency. WASHINGTON — For much of the summer, President Barack Obama had watched with alarm as a brutal, al-Qaida-linked insurgency seized more and more territory in northern Iraq. But it wasn´t until Thursday, when Obama learned that genocide could be imminent, that the president decided the U.S. military had to act. The vivid reports streaming into the Situation Room that morning from U.S. diplomats and intelligence officials were unsettling, to say the least: Stories of mass executions, women being enslaved as child brides, members of a small religious group trapped on a mountain and potentially dying of thirst. The situation was

There was just something calming about watching chefs in action, and this network had perfected Zen cooking. A second intraparty fight for U.S. Senate was too close to call. State Sen.
