Valerie Jarrett Interview Shows
How Low ´Meet the Press´ Has Sunk

Baltimore Sun (MD), by David Zurawik

Believe me, I didn´t go looking in my Sunday morning TV viewing for more evidence of what a journalistically bankrupt operation NBC News had become. It´s fish in a barrel these days. Turn to NBC News for almost any given broadcast, and you´ll find more proof than you can use of how politicized and lost it has become. But when I heard David Gregory promoting an interview that Cynthia McFadden did with senior White House advisor Valerie Jarrett I had to watch. And then, I had to try not to gag as Gregory introduced it by saying, "Our Cynthia McFadden

Does ValJar just come downstairs (on an elevator) to arrive at work? I think I read that she has a room upstairs.

Valerie´s power derives solely from her boy puppet.
Obama´s Rasputin is more dangerous now that her " rule" is coming to an end.
She and her unprecedented Secret Service guard are coming into the spotlight in soft interviews to hide the face of the dictator in making.
Iranian born Chicago leftist slumlord, she has been directing Obama from Benghazi to disastrous ObamaTax and invasion of illegals.
Now that his time is running out, she is coming to public attention to claim her place for power.
She had bought up the land for the Olympics which would have given her more money and a spotlight- fortunately, the Chicago thugocracy was slapped down.
Where was she on the night of Benghazi?obama?
What did they do? Get her under Oath.
Like her Manchurian Candidate, she is at her most dangerous now.

FTA: I think it´s pathetic, and you have to look no farther than a careless, compromised piece of fake journalism like this to know why "Meet the Press" has fallen from the heights it once held on Sunday morning public affairs TV.

This is quite a shocking article considering the fact that Zurawik is sure no conservative. Maybe there is some hope that there are some "journalists" left in this country who are condemning the "kiss-up interviews with Obama advisors."

As BO´s "magic" and his media shield evaporates ValJar crawls out from underneath her rock to hook the sycophant, entertainment oriented "news" shows back under the thrall of the WH.

Unfortunately, they now face a deeply doubtful and dissatisfied public who no longer believes the shuck and jive. The administration has NEVER had facts on their side. They simply asserted something was so. The public bought it because they WANTED something better than Bush. What they got was an incompetent poser. They know that now. It doesn´t matter what BO and his buddies say, no one believes them. Their desperate appearances are entertainment, nothing more and that is what the media wants.

Twenty different Obama administration officials have lost or destroyed a portion of their email traffic. As we celebrate President Barack Obama’s 400th fundraiser since taking office five-and-a-half years ago, it should be noted that of all the thousands of people who have attended, one group has been barred from ever entering the events: The press. Now, fundraisers can be a dicey place for the media to be. You (almost) never know what kinds of things are said in what is supposed to be behind closed doors — just ask Mitt Romney. To that end, our current president — who greatly benefited from that infamous Romney recording — has barred the press from all fundraising events.

Giving what was dubbed the “California Welcome,” Gov. Jerry Brown told attendees at the 31st Annual National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Conference in June that affluent families seemed to not be “producing” children in the state. “I don´t know what the affluent families are doing,” Brown said. “They´re not producing or something, because half the kids in schools are from low-income families.” At the conference, held in San Diego, Calif., in late June, Brown said California had addressed the fact that millions of children in the state’s school do not speak English.

Taped interviews have a way of coming back to haunt politicians. And the timing couldn’t be better for this gem, brought to us by Weasel Zippers, who dug up this pre-election interview with then-Senator Barack Obama in 2008. The senator had high expectations for himself, if he were to receive Americans’ vote for President. You have to understand that if you seek that office, then you have to be prepared to give your life to it. Essentially, the bargain that I think every President strikes with the American people is, ‘you give me this office, then in turn my fears,

The chief law enforcement officer of the United States is the Attorney General. He/she is charged with the investigations and prosecutions of Federal crimes. When there is corruption in the government, it is the Attorney General who is charged with ferreting out the corrupt and restoring integrity to the Federal government. What if the Attorney General himself is corrupt? Our Founding Fathers crafted a form of government that

Sporting a United States Secret Service baseball cap, Obama seemed reasonably relaxed despite the hefty protection, laughing and chatting with his golfing buddies in between holes. Barack Obama deliberately set out to lose the war in Iraq, and he did. He defied the advice of his joint chiefs of staff to secure America’s formidable military presence and keep 20,000 troops in country, and left Iraq to its own devices and the tender mercies of Iran. In doing so, he betrayed every American and Iraqi who gave his life to create a free Iraq and keep it out of the clutches of the terrorists.
