McConnell: ‘Nice Family Fight’
of Primaries Over, Time to
Unify to Take Senate

PJ Media, by Rodrigo Sermeno

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 7/1/2014 10:51:06 AM

WASHINGTON – Republicans see the November midterm elections as an opportunity to take the nation on a different path and call for a new conservative message focusing on the problems of regular Americans. During the latest convention of conservative activist Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition in Washington, D.C., Republicans confidently proclaimed that the GOP has an opportunity to turn back the past six years of President Obama’s administration in the midterm elections. “There’s only one thing to be done in 2014…and that is to take back America by taking back the Senate,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said

Comments:
They call that a "nice family fight?" If they want any unity they need to stop attacking the conservative wing of their own party. Their conduct is disgraceful and offensive. Their arrogance is stunning to think people will forget what happened in Mississippi and the horrific behavior of the establishment Republicans.

So according to Mitch lying, cheating and stealing are OK as long as it results in party unity. Hum. I am now telling the RNC or any other party affiliated fund raiser - no way in hell, take my name off your call list, your mailing list or any other list that you may have. I would not be surprised to see the Democrat win in Mississippi - more than a few folks are going to stay home on election day.

A Redstate analysis shows possibility of as many as 12 pick-ups for Republicans, so if one voted for Dumb Blonde Dem Grimes in Kentucky, Mitch might not win and still the Senate switches.

That would be a "Two for One". No majority leader McConnell and a strong warning to Boehner´s speakership. He could be replaced this trip around.

FTA: Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) said the Republican Party is “poised” to win the Senate majority in the midterm elections.

“The most important thing we can do in November is to retire [Senate] Majority Leader Harry Reid,” he said.

“We’ve had a nice family fight in some of our primaries but after those primaries are over we need to unify and win in November,” he added later.

Headline appears to be wrong about McConnell having said ´Nice Family Fight´. Regardless of whether Cornyn or McConnell said it, it´s either wishful thinking, cluelessness or something worse. The "Mississippi Betrayal" has caught the attention of many people who view it with contempt and certainly nothing to "emulate". It will be surprising if there aren´t repercussions in November.

I truly fear for our country. Men may mock one another, but God will not be mocked. We urgently and seriously need repentance and revival of the Godly Precepts and Principles on which our country was founded. We won´t survive without earnest, prayerful effort to seek God´s guidance and to do right in His sight. May God have mercy on us and help us.

This would be like a police family arguing over how to best clean up corruption in the town and one of the family members hiring a leg breaker from the mob to beat down his rival. Then while patting himself on the back, the head mobster is demanding to be warned before any police raids.

The U.S. government not only failed to prosecute an illegal alien who stole the identity of his dead baby son—who had collected SSI before he died—but granted the father legal status to work in the United States. This one-time illegal alien, the Office of Inspector General for the Social Security Administration believes, fraudulently used his son’s Social Security Number for at least three years. Yet, he was not prosecuted, according to the IG’s office, because his case did not meet the prosecutorial guidelines of the U.S. attorney for New Jersey. In fact, this case might never have come to light had the IG

HOUSTON, Texas--While the Obama Administration has largely expressed surprise at the sharp increase in illegal immigrants from Central America this year, the Health and Human Services (HHS) budget for processing unaccompanied foreign minors has exploded in recent years, raising questions about whether the administration could have foreseen, or did foresee, the crisis. FALFURRIAS, Texas – Far from the crisis along the border with Mexico in the Rio Grande Valley, the checkpoint here exists to deter those who made it this far but want to get away. To an American — let’s say a young white man– the three-lane checkpoint some 70 miles from the border seems far from threatening. A Border Patrol agent asks if you’re a U.S. citizen. Answer correctly, and he lets you through. But for illegal immigrants who want to elude capture, the Falfurrias checkpoint, with drug-sniffing dogs looming, is the likely end of the journey. So the migrants

At a political event in Wilmington, Delaware, on Thursday, President Obama devoted only 40 seconds to the shooting down of the Malaysian airline, his first statement to the world following the news. His emotionless reference to the attack as ‘a terrible tragedy’ seemed disconnected from the horrific moment, particularly as he immediately reverted to script to praise his administration and criticise Republicans. A pernicious, little-known Obama administration policy – one that that incentivizes adult illegal immigrants to use children as human shields to escape arrest and deportation at the border – largely has escaped the media’s notice. This same policy is driving the historic surge of children at the border, as everyone from coyotes to illegal immigrant adults already in America seeks to use children to guarantee their safe passage into the country, or to protect them from deportation if they are illegally living here. He was 86. He was found dead of natural causes at his home in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles Saturday evening, Los Angeles police officer Alonzo Iniquez said early Sunday. Garner had suffered a stroke in May 2008, just weeks after his 80th birthday.
