McConnell: ‘Nice Family Fight’
of Primaries Over, Time to
Unify to Take Senate

PJ Media, by Rodrigo Sermeno

Original Article

WASHINGTON – Republicans see the November midterm elections as an opportunity to take the nation on a different path and call for a new conservative message focusing on the problems of regular Americans. During the latest convention of conservative activist Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition in Washington, D.C., Republicans confidently proclaimed that the GOP has an opportunity to turn back the past six years of President Obama’s administration in the midterm elections. “There’s only one thing to be done in 2014…and that is to take back America by taking back the Senate,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said

Comments:
They call that a "nice family fight?" If they want any unity they need to stop attacking the conservative wing of their own party. Their conduct is disgraceful and offensive. Their arrogance is stunning to think people will forget what happened in Mississippi and the horrific behavior of the establishment Republicans.

So according to Mitch lying, cheating and stealing are OK as long as it results in party unity. Hum. I am now telling the RNC or any other party affiliated fund raiser - no way in hell, take my name off your call list, your mailing list or any other list that you may have. I would not be surprised to see the Democrat win in Mississippi - more than a few folks are going to stay home on election day.

A Redstate analysis shows possibility of as many as 12 pick-ups for Republicans, so if one voted for Dumb Blonde Dem Grimes in Kentucky, Mitch might not win and still the Senate switches.

That would be a "Two for One". No majority leader McConnell and a strong warning to Boehner´s speakership. He could be replaced this trip around.

FTA: Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) said the Republican Party is “poised” to win the Senate majority in the midterm elections.

“The most important thing we can do in November is to retire [Senate] Majority Leader Harry Reid,” he said.

“We’ve had a nice family fight in some of our primaries but after those primaries are over we need to unify and win in November,” he added later.

Headline appears to be wrong about McConnell having said ´Nice Family Fight´. Regardless of whether Cornyn or McConnell said it, it´s either wishful thinking, cluelessness or something worse. The "Mississippi Betrayal" has caught the attention of many people who view it with contempt and certainly nothing to "emulate". It will be surprising if there aren´t repercussions in November.

I truly fear for our country. Men may mock one another, but God will not be mocked. We urgently and seriously need repentance and revival of the Godly Precepts and Principles on which our country was founded. We won´t survive without earnest, prayerful effort to seek God´s guidance and to do right in His sight. May God have mercy on us and help us.

This would be like a police family arguing over how to best clean up corruption in the town and one of the family members hiring a leg breaker from the mob to beat down his rival. Then while patting himself on the back, the head mobster is demanding to be warned before any police raids.

Lois Lerner’s Blackberry was intentionally destroyed after Congress had begun its probe into IRS targeting of conservative groups, a senior IRS lawyer acknowledged in a sworn declaration. Thomas Kane, Deputy Assistant Chief Counsel for the IRS, wrote in the declaration, part of a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch against the IRS, that the Blackberry was "removed or wiped clean of any sensitive or proprietary information and removed as scrap for disposal in June 2012." That date - June 2012 - is significant because by that time, ex-IRS official Lerner had already been summoned before congressional staffers who interviewed her about

Frequently criticized for being insufficiently diverse, environmentalists are trying to draw parallels between the crisis erupting in Ferguson, Missouri and global warming. “It was not hard for me to make the connection between the tragedy in Ferguson, Missouri, and the catalyst for my work to stop the climate crisis,” writes Deirdre Smith, strategic partnership coordinator for the environmental group 350.org. Smith ties the “institutional neglect of vulnerable communities in crisis” into the environmental movement’s war against fossil fuels, which she claims hit minority communities the hardest. “To me, the connection between militarized state violence, racism, and climate change was common-sense and intuitive,” she

The distinctly anti-police tone of the service was proof that the lie that Brown tried to surrender to white police officer Darren Wilson, rather than trying to beat the life out of him, won’t die. The racial-grievance industry, egged on by President Obama, won’t let it go.
