Worse than Nixon? Obama White House
accused of hiding public information

Washington Times, by Jeffrey Scott Shapiro

Original Article

Though President Obama vowed to run the most transparent administration in history, his White House has quietly empowered itself to censor or delay the release of information in ways that not even Richard Nixon envisioned during the Watergate scandal, according to federal workers on the front lines of processing open records requests. The workers, who spoke to The Washington Times only on the condition of anonymity for fear of reprisal, said that an April 15, 2009, memo from White House Counsel Gregory Craig to all federal agencies has slowed, and in some cases nixed, the public release of government documents that

In this article it states that any FOIA request first had to be cleared by presidential attorneys! The deceit, brazenness and lawlessness of this administration continues to shock me.

Nixon genuinely loved his country. Nixon never used his power to enrich himself, and never "lived it up" while in the WH. Most of Nixon´s abuses didn´t get past the talking stage. Richard Milhous Nixon was a flawed, even tragic, figure: but he was a "saint" compared to the Emperor. You might question whether Nixon was a "crook"; but he was definitely not a traitor.

Nixon had a moral compass. He may have been violating it, but he knew it and that´s why he resigned. Obama and his henchmen have no moral compass except a lust for power. There is nothing he can be caught doing that would allow him to resign.

Rep. “Huge,” “bold,” and “unprecedented” is how a thrilled Representative Luis Gutiérrez (D., Ill.) described reports that the Obama administration is considering granting legal status to up to 5 million illegal immigrants. He’s especially excited, he said, because the White House is actually trying to downplay the significance of the huge measure. “It’s music to my ears” said Gutiérrez, one of the leading voices in the House to pass comprehensive immigration reform, on MSNBC. Last month, he predicted that as many as 5 million people might gain status if President Obama opts to take unilateral action. Gutiérrez urged communities to take

The GAO said federal agencies used viable academic models and sources, disclosed the limitations of its estimates and included new information, and followed a consensus-based decision process when updating the social cost of carbon. The agency made no recommendations to agencies for changing their processes. Democrat Michelle Nunn is running ahead of David Perdue in the race for the U.S. Senate in Georgia. The WSB-TV poll found that Mrs. Nunn has 47 percent to 40 percent edge over Mr. Perdue. The libertarian candidate, Amanda Swafford, received 3 percent, and 10 percent of the respondents were undecided. The winner of the race will replace retiring Sen. Saxby Chambliss. Mrs. Nunn, the daughter of former Georgia Sen. Sam Nunn, is seen as one of Democrats best bets to flip control of a GOP-held seat. Republicans need to flip six seats to win back the Senate.

FERGUSON, Mo. — It was 1 a.m. and Michael Brown Jr. called his father, his voice trembling. He had seen something overpowering. In the thick gray clouds that lingered from a passing storm this past June, he made out an angel. And he saw Satan chasing the angel and the angel running into the face of God.
