Monica Lewinsky: I was
´virgin to humiliation´

Politico, by Kendall Breitman

Original Article

In Monica Lewinsky’s first television interview in ten years, the former White House intern will open up about going from “a virgin to humiliation” to “the most humiliated woman in the world.” In clips of her interview with National Geographic obtained by the TODAY show, the former White House intern recalls her experiences after the public release of the Starr report. “That was one of the worst days of my life,” Lewinsky said. “I was a virgin to humiliation of that level, until that day.”

I had a lot more sympathy for her before she started giving interviews. Her excuse then was she was young and dumb.

What Jesus would say to Monica? Might it be the same thing he said to the woman caught in adultery? "Neither do I condemn you. Go, and do not sin again." John 8:11

Or is she an exception?

To be a White House intern is to have an intense desire to be close to power. It is clear that Ms. Lewinsky wanted to be as close as she could get, and the President accommodated her. They both got what they wanted. The consequence is that the affair proved what everyone thought was true about Clinton, and Hillary was proven to be a liar and opportunistic leach.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EGranwN_uk

Without a doubt the Clinton years were remarkable. They were remarkable for the dumbing down of deviancy, for introducing children to the fact that oral sex is not sex at all, and that what had been tolerated as "off the record" was now fair game, morally, socially, and politically. It just turns out that Monica Lewinsky was the vessel for the exposure of two committed liars and cheaters.

What a way with words, Monica. Instead of saying - "I was young and completely unprepared for humiliation on that level". No, she had to come up with "being a ´virgin´ to humiliation of that level". Is that play on words supposed to illicit sympathy for you? Sweetie, you knew exactly what you were doing in the Oval Office bathroom and under the desk with Slick...you knew the consequences. You´ve learned nothing.

Monica is still desperately in love with Slick.

She was thought a fool once, now she has spoken and removed all doubt.

Jesus knew the heart of the adulteress, not just what she said. Ergo, forgiveness.

In this case there seems to be no redemption sought, only justification.

Different case. No correlation between the the two women.

Kind of off the topic, but what does her story have to do with geography? Why is this on the National Geographic Channel? If I were watching the Slut Channel I wouldn´t expect to find an story on the Mississippi river. Monica needs to go on The View and tell Baba Wawa and Dopey how before she met Slick she thought the stork brought babies.

One of the notable things about the Obama administration isn’t simply that its key figures often make misleading claims, but that they do so in ways that can be so easily disproven. The latest effort is in the White House’s attempt to have us believe that the president, in his now infamous “jayvee” analogy, didn’t have ISIS in mind. Here’s an exchange between NBC’s Peter Alexander and White House press secretary Josh Earnest that took place on Monday: PETER ALEXANDER, NBC: Did the president underestimate ISIS when he referred to them in an interview only a couple months ago as

There is a pervasive belief that poverty is a key driver of terrorism. American foreign aid increased under George W. Bush, justified partly by security concerns. Bush said at the time, “We work for prosperity and opportunity because they’re right. It’s the right thing to do. We also work for prosperity and opportunity because they help defeat terror.” Similarly Bill Clinton has stated “we have to create more opportunity for those left behind by progress, thus reducing the pool of potential terrorists.” This framing of poverty and development as national security issues continued with the Obama administration. A United Airlines flight from Newark to Denver was diverted because of two passengers who were fighting over a little bit of legroom. A woman and a man — both seated in the “Economy Plus” section of the aircraft, which already comes with extra legroom — were at each other’s throats because the man attached a “knee defender” device to his seat, preventing the woman in front from reclining, according the Associated Press. The $22 device locks onto the tray table on the back of the seat, making it impossible for the person in front to recline during the flight.

Two weeks ago, President Obama announced air strikes in northern Iraq against ISIS. The mission, as Obama explained it at the time, was designed to pursue two very limited objectives: “targeted airstrikes to protect our American personnel and a humanitarian effort to help save thousands of Iraqi civilians who are trapped on a mountain without food and water and facing almost certain death.” Two days ago, when Obama spoke in the aftermath of the brutal beheading of the photojournalist James Foley, his verbal tone was visibly angrier. Amid the hysteria over the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., it might be lost that most black and white Americans believe they’re not out to get each other. A new Pew Research survey shows that 75 percent of whites and 64 percent of blacks say their groups get along together “pretty well” if not “very well.” It’s a bleaker view for Hispanics, 53 percent of whom say the same. Ferguson fell into the national media spotlight on Aug. 9 when Brown, who was unarmed and black,” was shot dead by Darren Wilson, a white police officer.
