Don’t Mess with Messiahs
National Review Online, by Victor Davis Hanson

In Obama’s most recent — and embarrassing — public whine, he lashed out at the once-obsequious press. In his now customary first-person I/me/my/mine lament (e.g., “They don’t do anything, except block me and call me names. . . . If they were more interested in growing the economy for you and the issues that you are talking about instead of trying to mess with me, we would be doing a lot better. . . . The critics, the cynics in Washington, they’ve written me off more times than I can count.”), he lambasted the partisan culture of Washington. He lashed

I heard Jug Ears say yesterday that it´s all the Republican House´s fault for not passing legislation. Guess what? Not a word about Dirty Harry holding up 36-38 House passed non-partisan bills. Dirty Harry is holding them all up and refuses to bring ANY for a vote. That´s where the blame sits - directly on Dirty Harry.

Poor wittle me! Boo hoo. He is belittling himself and is too stupid to know it. If he really cared, he would be doing something about jobs for Americans not immigration. He plays politics with everything and it is not working. Valerie doesn´t know what she is doing and he does what she tells him to do. We are in a real mess.

"For the first time in our nation’s history, thousands of foreign nationals are approaching the Border Patrol requesting, not fearing, arrest, on the apparently correct belief that their illegal entry into the U.S. and all the problems that surround it are a sort of payback to conservatives for opposing Obama’s notion of comprehensive immigration reform."

If the Repubs had not called Obama a "pooh pooh head", Obama.would have turned back this illegal invasion. Obama would have also left a stabilizing force in Iraq to prevent a terrorist caliphate, stood up to Putin and he would have stopped strangulating our economy with regulations. For Obama, the perpetual child, its "Sticks & stones won´t break my bones but names will always hurt me." Obama is mad, and we are bearing the costs of his insanity,

Obama’s impromptu adolescent moaning was bizarre and reminds us again why he would be wiser to stay close to his teleprompter.

Any day now we may get reports that Barry rolled on the floor and chewed on the carpet in the oval office when he was told by advisers that he didn´t get his way about something. IMHO V.D. Hanson should re-title this great article as "Don´t Mess with Fuhrers"

Being divorced from reality is a prerequisite for being a leftist, but I think reality is increasingly permeating the utopian bubble that Barry and his handlers have been living in all this time.
All this projecting his serial abject failures on others isn´t working anymore, even the LoFos and his media accomplices are beginning to push back and Barry is beginning to feel the heat.
Said it before and I´ll say it again, this isn´t going to end well.

The state of American politics today is such that the Democrat Party cannot win national elections without overwhelming support from the Black and Hispanic minority groups. To those liberals the end justifies the means.

In the long term that is why the Democrats, especially Obama, refuse to effectively enforce the immigration laws and have instituted catch and release policies along the borderline so that after being arrested and processed, large numbers of illegal aliens, mostly all prospective members of a would be supercharged liberal Democrat allied Hispanic minority group, are being released and allowed to travel to Democrat run interior cities where they disappear to await the next amnesty. That is also why Obama is fraudulently pushing a massive liberal Democrat designed amnesty and path to citizenship as a faux fix all for illegal immigration, that would effectively eventually turn the vast majority of the illegal alien population and their foreign relatives who would then get to come here into Democrat voters in the years ahead. That is not a small issue as they would amount to tens of millions of new Democrat voters who would have the great potential of changing the political balance of the USA to the permanent favor of the Democrats to the point where the Republicans would no longer have the votes to win future presidential elections. That means among other things that the liberal Democrats would always get to appoint liberal justices to the Supreme Court with little or no Republican or conservative counterbalance.

Some of those people are beginning to see the error of their voting ways.

The agent tasked with securing the Atlanta site where an armed civilian rode an elevator with Obama has one of the toughest jobs in the agency. What goes into protecting the president. There’s no wiggle room in Secret Service standard operation procedures for presidential visits: The security guard who pushed elevator buttons for President Obama and his entourage at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on September 16 should not have been allowed to carry a gun that day. The more the Secret Service investigates, the less of a threat the man, who has not been identified publicly, appears to be.

In light of my two lists of President Obama’s top 10 constitutional violations — for 2011 and 2013 – a few readers have asked me to follow up on my short statement about Attorney General Eric Holder’s tenure by putting together a list for him. I had started thinking about that, but then came across this item by Hans von Spakovsky (who co-authored with John Fund a book on Holder’s missteps), which details Holder’s “7 Worst Actions as Attorney General.” Here’s a summary of the list: Operation Fast and Furious, for which the House of Representatives held him in contempt. President Barack Obama is widely disliked in Kansas. His approval rating is 33%, meaning that the overwhelming share of voters who turn out will vote Republican at the federal level. 2. Pat Roberts is a known quantity. He’s a well-known figure in the state. His approval ratings might have taken a beating of late, but Sen. Why is anyone from Liberia, Sierra Leone, or Guinea — the source of the Ebola outbreak — being permitted to enter the United States? The Liberian Ebola victim in Dallas seems to have used a visitor visa to travel here “to visit family members.” The idea that we allow people from those countries to board planes for the U.S. so long as they don’t have a fever is absurd. There are more than 13,000 people from those three countries with visas to enter the U.S. Here’s a list of African countries with travel restrictions on Ebola-affected countries — what’s our problem? A federal judge recently rejected a lawsuit filed by environmental groups to prevent the U.S. Bureau of Land Management from issuing oil and gas leases for parts of central Nevada. The case represents a small battle in protracted war to de-industrialize the West. The activists employ a familiar battle plan: Scope out an economic project, sue the government to block its approval, and sit back as legal costs mount. Recently, these groups have grown more litigious — “sue and settle” cases, where activists sue the government to negotiate settlements with often-friendly bureaucrats behind closed doors, more than doubled over the last

You have to salute the rulers of Iran. They stand on the verge of scoring a stunning diplomatic triumph over the United States. Even more impressive: They did it all on bluff. Their adversaries possessed material advantages in terms of money, technology, military power, and more. But Iran’s rulers had clarity of purpose and the will to win. Without these qualities, the adversaries’ material advantages have seeped away. A year ago, the rulers of Iran faced disaster. Their currency had lost three-quarters of its value, due in largest measure to the tough economic sanctions drafted by Senators Mark Kirk and Robert

Just as he does every election year, President Obama is pivoting to the economy. Why? Because the economy is, and always has been, the No. 1 issue for American voters. Mr. Obama swept into office with feel-good promises of a post-partisan paradise, but it was his pledge of prosperity that twice got him elected. In 2008, voters were smashed by the economic meltdown that occurred just weeks before Election Day. Republican Sen. That decision, confirmed in August, was eclipsed by the advance of ISIL, war in Gaza, and sedition in Ukraine. But the Navy’s announcement—the single-largest strategic consequence of this administration’s defense cuts—has the most far-reaching ramifications of the summer’s events. The United States faces the prospect of drawn-out tension leading to possible conflict on two fronts, the Middle East and the Far East. Of the two, Chinese ambition will require more attention. President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus
