Israel Strikes 34 ´Terror Targets´ in
Gaza After Bodies of Israeli Teens Found

ABC News, by Staff

The Israeli Air Force carried out what it called "precision strikes" on 34 "terror targets" in the Gaza Strip overnight, after the discovery of the bodies of three Israeli teenagers who were kidnapped in the West Bank earlier this month. The Israeli Defense Forces said the strikes were in response to rockets being launched earlier into Israel from Gaza. The waves of rockets from Gaza and IDF retaliations have picked up since the teens were kidnapped and the Israeli crackdown began. Hamas has not claimed responsibility for launching the rockets but Israel holds them responsible for everything coming out of Gaza. The Israel Defense

Too bad Israel didn´t wipe out the whole Gaza strip. If Barry were in charge, he´d be waving the white flag and telling the jihadist freaks that the country could sustain more hits and make security back down so it could happen.

Israel is trying to demonstrate to Obama what a real, decisive president does when their people are under threat.Obama hopes for a stroke of good luck or a kneepad media to bail him out.A president´s main job is decision making and Obama fails horribly short at that unless the issue undermines the Constitution.

Good. Israel is an island of sanity in the middle of a sea of the criminally insane. Bibi understands he must protect his people. Ignoring these murders would only embolden the terrorists. Thank God there are still men in the world who understand evil. It is nigh to impossible to try and reason with people who have no conscience and are permanently aggrieved. They must understand, however, that they will be held accountable for their evil deeds. Swift retribution was warranted. Well done, Israel.

Well, DUH!!! Who else would it be, Bill Ayres?

If Israel would drop a 500# bomb on a nearby marketplace every time the palis launched a rocket, the arabs might get the idea it isn´t smart to mess with Israel.

Mossad could have done it to ounish Palestine for creating a unity government. I wouldnt put it past them. Real Democracies shouldnt go out doing mass bombings of civlians... If you agree to allow it, what will stop some freak like Obama from doing it here to us? There will have been a precedent! What were those ILLEGAL Aliens doing in Palestine anyway? They didnt deserve to die for being there, but why are their families squatting on stolen land? Our govt has LIED to us about everythjng else, so what makes you think they are now magically telling the truth about this!?? These settlements are for Jews ONLY...you are not welcome or allowed there as a Gentile. If that isnt discrimination, I Dont know what is. Wake up...these settlers are the oroblem! The war on terror...

Priority #1: Kill terrorists. Israel has that part right. Better than US policy.

Priority #2: Convince the average Muslim on the street that extremism causes only more pain and loss, and they should turn on the terrorists. How many Muslim refugees are out there that have lost everything including family because of the terrorists? Millions.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - A time few could imagine during the not-too-distant glory days of casino gambling has arrived in Atlantic City, where two casinos will close this weekend and a third will shut down in two weeks. More than 5,000 workers will lose their jobs in an unprecedented weekend in the seaside gambling resort, leaving many feeling betrayed by a system that once promised stable, well-paying jobs. The Showboat is closing Sunday, followed by Revel on Monday and Tuesday. Trump Plaza is next, closing Sept. 16. To the thousands who will be left behind, it still seems unreal. "We

Many of my fellow conservative columnists have lamented in recent weeks that the troubling trend of Western men voyaging to the Middle East to become terrorists has its roots in the stultifying boredom of life in modern capitalistic society. The New York Times´ Ross Douthat ventured into similar territory in his "Our thoroughly modern enemies." National Review´s Charles C.W. Toward the end of Ronald Reagan’s second term, a friend of Vice President Bush encouraged him to think carefully about what a Bush presidency should look like. According to Time, Bush responded, “Oh, the vision thing.” Fairly or unfairly, this phrase came to characterize the Bush 41 tenure. Despite his impressive résumé spanning three decades in government, he seemed not to have a clear view of what he wanted to do. When Barack Obama campaigned for the White House in 2008, that hardly seemed like his problem. Obama would take in the whole sweep of American history in his speeches

August may bring on thoughts of the dreaded dog days of summer, but we prefer to think of them as the “Hero dog days of summer.” And this week, Americans have an entire day (August 26) dedicated to celebrating the hero dogs in our lives with National Dog Day. It’s estimated that 83 million dogs reside in our country, up from 68 million in 2000. Man’s best friend has enjoyed a role like no other companion animal as now more homes include a furred, four-legged family member than ever before. For thousands of years, dogs have been man’s best friend.

AUSTIN, Texas -- Tough new Texas abortion restrictions are on hold after a federal judge found Republican-led efforts to hold abortion clinics to hospital-level operating standards unconstitutional in a ruling that spares more than a dozen clinics from imminent closure. The state vowed to quickly appeal Friday´s ruling by U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel in Austin, who cited other rules GOP lawmakers have recently passed in his decision to throw out requirements that clinics meet hospital operating standards. Those prior abortion restrictions include mandatory sonograms and a 24-hour waiting period after a woman first seeks out an abortion. "These substantial obstacles have reached

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), the chairman of the House select committee on the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, says the panel´s work should be done by the end of 2015, according to a report. "Assuming cooperation from agencies, witnesses and the administration," Gowdy told The New York Times, the committee should have concluded its investigation before 2016. The timeline is relevant because Democrats say the committee is looking to tarnish Hillary Clinton, who was secretary of State during the attacks, and the closer the investigation gets to the presidential election, the more damage it could do. As the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, I’ve spent years watching Germany wrestle with its dark past. It’s just one of many places that have made efforts to understand and compensate for a difficult history: For nearly three decades, countries as varied as South Africa, Rwanda, and the nations of Latin America and post-Communist Eastern Europe have been engaged in this process, often called “transitional justice.” That’s a broad term for the ways in which societies deal with the legacies of past injustice.

ISIS is a cancer that must be stamped out, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry wrote Saturday in an opinion piece for The New York Times. Kerry called the Islamist extremist group, known for beheadings, crucifixions and terror campaigns against religious and ethnic minorities, a "unifying threat to a broad array of countries" that needs to be confronted. At least 17,000 homes were obliterated or severely damaged during the conflict, with thousands more needing substantial repairs, according to an assessment by Shelter Cluster. More than 2,100 Palestinians, most of them civilians, were killed during the conflict. In addition 71 Israelis were killed – all but six of them soldiers. But the report on Gaza’s housing stock indicates inhabitants of the densely populated strip will face a severe infrastructural burden over the coming years.

Earnest said Obama himself made the decision to return to the White House and that it was unrelated to any current events. "He can sleep in his own bed, do a little work tomorrow, spend some time with his family" before traveling back to Westchester
