Admit It: We Wackos are the Problem

I´ve been thinking over the Cantor loss and the Cochran win and the whole question of the Republican Party divided between its Beltway establishment and its Tea Party insurgency. And last week I read James V. DeLong´s excellent piece about the divide between the wheeling and dealing of the Republican establishment and the “values and concerns” (or V&C) of the ordinary GOP voter. His piece is titled “Why Voters Grew Tired of Cantor” but the URL reads “government-of-the-cronies-by-the-cronies-for-the-cronies.” I vote for the URL.

Comments:
The TeaParty lives on as long as there are people who believe in the same principles as our founding fathers.

Cochran may have won more than he wanted in the runoff June 24. Gotnews.com a young upstart who has mostly been tweeting, a Charles Johnson has video interview with a Rev. Stevie Fielder in MS who said he was approached by the Cochran campaign and paid $15/head to vote for Cochran. Fielder paid the voters when the envelops with $15 were brought to him by a Cochran staffer, but the Rev. Fielder himself got stiffed. The Cochran campaign reached out to Fielder to day and said they would pay him but wanted all text messages deleted from his phone. A text message is on the video at gotnews dot com. RedState.com also interviewed Fielder along with Johnson. The info they have collected has been turned over to the FBI in Jackson. It ties into Barbour and Sen. Wicker, too.

It´s illegal to buy votes in MS they said.
This will be an interesting week for the GOP establishment/RINOs. Talk about WACKOS!

Per CNN, journalist Jose Antonio Vargas travelled to McAllen, Texas, “to show solidarity with the surge of people, many of them children, traveling alone entering the U.S. illegally.” Who is Jose Antonio Vargas, you ask? Via Breitbart He describes himself as “the country´s ‘most privileged’ illegal immigrant.” According to CNN, “he is a Pulitzer Prize winning former journalist” who entered the United States illegally from the Philippines when he was 14-years-old. Three years ago Vargas announced his illegal status in a piece in the New York Times. As of this writing, he was being detained at the border.

‘Here’s the difference between us,” Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained on Fox News Sunday. “We’re using missile defense to protect our civilians, and they’re using their civilians to protect their missiles.” It’s a classic talking point. It’s also objectively true, and that truth is very frustrating for Israel’s critics. All one needs to do is delve into the muck of Twitter and read the timelines for such hashtags as #GazaUnderAttack and #GenocideInGaza: “They’re killing the women and children to ensure there won’t be a new generation of Palestine.” “One Holocaust can NEVER justify another.”

A lasting legend from Russia’s Communist Revolution illustrates the attitude of the Progressive Left toward the middle class: the examination of rounded up citizens by the revolutionaries. If a captive’s hands weren’t calloused, he was executed. That doesn’t fit America; better to enlist the citizens in the deconstruction. Though slower than the Russian approach, that hasn’t proven difficult; the left´s programs are popular with voters. America’s middle class is a historical anomaly, a result of combining British government and jurisprudence; classical liberalism; a disparate stream of immigrants and an entire new,

One sign of an imperial government is that it does what it wishes with whole populations. It can shift some here; move some there. It can deport some there; import some here. Who will say “No” when facing armed might? Authoritarian governments can pretty much do what they wish to do. The motives behind moving whole populations via executive fiat break down into two main categories. One is to prevent revolution and unrest by moving and quarantining what are considered indigestible peoples in order to weaken their resistance to the powers that be.

For some reason the cameras that are banned on the border were not banned from the Wynkoop Brewing Co. pizza and pool hall in Colorado where, in lieu of the middle finger, Barack Obama flipped a pool stick at America, banged back a few brewskis and yukked it up with Democratic governor John Hickenlooper. Cameras being banned from liberal policy hubs most assuredly indicates that whatever is going on there, if truth be told and visuals matched with verbal accounts, the American people would be horrified. That’s probably the reason why cameras are banned from abortion clinics and sonograms are opposed

Operation Protective Edge is underway, and it’s turning into a full-scale ground operation. No thinking person can blame Israel’s leaders for taking steps to protect their citizens from the tens of thousands of unprovoked rocket attacks that have been launched in their direction by Hamas from Gaza. Now, rewind to 2012 and Operation Pillar of Defense. The central characters are the same, and the critical events are the same. Now, rewind to 2008 and Operation Cast Lead. The critical events are the same, but the central characters are different.

My fellow Americans, we are all bit players in the making of a metaphoric slasher movie: Obama Unchained, starring Barack Hussein Obama. Here is a summary of the movie. It is a heartwarming tale about how the mainstream media and Democratic Party suckered America into electing their extreme far-left dream president – a Trojan Horse in the form of a black man.

In the nearly 20 months since Mitt Romney lost the election to President Barack Obama, many of the former Massachusetts governor´s predictions have played out on the world stage. For instance, Romney called Russia the nation´s "number one geopolitical foe"; he pledged strong support for Israel amid tense relations with Iran and other neighbors; declared that corporations are "people" — and said that illegal immigration remained a continued threat to the American economy. As many realities have developed in the U.S. and abroad, Romney´s popularity has increased in national polls — and it is believed that he is considering a White House

Obama not betrayed? I can’t think of a single one. If Obama is different from other presidents, it’s not for the color of his skin, which is just a PR hustle to blackmail suckers into proving they aren’t racists. The chaos unfolding at the border demonstrates the catastrophic, real-world consequences of the president’s lawless conduct. For the last five years, with average household incomes falling and Americans being pushed out of the workforce, the president has been engaged in a sustained campaign to strip away Americans’ immigration protections. He has accomplished his aims: Interior removals have been cut by more than 40 percent. President Obama’s own former ICE director reported to the Los Angeles Times that “if you are a run-of-the-mill immigrant here illegally, your odds of getting deported are close to zero.”

Obama seems to think that stonewalling Congress regarding the hidden e-mails that obviously incriminate his toadies at the IRS is a winning strategy. The joke about the obsessively doting mother comes to mind. Watching her son parade with rows of fellow troops, she notices he is on his left foot when they are all on the right. “Why are they out of step?” she asks. So it is with Barack Obama. The nation is turning against him, yet he shouts to the heavens that he is right and the country is wrong. Mothers can get away with that sort of thing. Presidents and their parties get shellacked.

Some Republicans are beginning to extend their free-market, limited-government beliefs to include opposition to corporate welfare, like the Export-Import Bank. Many conservatives hate the idea of centralized education standards driven by a coalition of unaccountable bureaucrats and big business. K Street lobbyist and former GOP congressional aide John Feehery warns that this is a dangerous for the Right to walk, asking: What would happen if Big Business decided to change sides? What would happen if the Chamber of Commerce suddenly stopped being a huge fundraising machine for the Republican Party and started financing pro-business Democrats?
