Obama pledges to redirect immigration
enforcement, conceding defeat on overhaul

Washington Post, by Zachary A. Goldfarb & David Nakamura

Original Article

Posted By:Drive, 6/30/2014 3:26:31 PM

President Obama will acknowledge Monday that there is no hope for legislation overhauling the immigration system in Congress this year and announce he is redirecting immigration enforcement from the interior of the United States to the border. The action, which beefs up efforts to stem illegal immigration across the border but could slow efforts to deport undocumented immigrants already in the country, is one of series of executive actions Obama will pledge since the House decided not to take up immigration legislation this year. The announcement represents the ends of hopes in the White House and elsewhere that the House might pursue legislation to strengthen the nation’s borders and immigration enforcement while also providing a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants. The Senate passed such a bill last year.

I feel like I have entered the Twilight Zone. Obama took the entire time blaming Republicans and stating that he has offered many times to "work with them" on these issues. It is absolutely stunning to me the ease in which he so easily lies and is able to shift every blame on Republicans while he remains untouched. I don´t look forward to the usual weak, pathetic, ineffectual response from Republicans. Obama is a cunning and evil master of manipulation. I wish the Republicans knew half as well to play the chess game as the megalomaniac Obama. His total and complete arrogance is just astonishing.

Obama never said that he was going to redirect immigration enforcement, what he said that he was doing is redirecting appropriate Homeland Security personnel to the borderline and that does not mean that they are being sent there to effectively enforce the law. In reality Obama does not want to stop the illegal alien flow, what he wants to do is legalize it, just as he wants to legalize every poor and uneducated illegal alien he can find. As long as the liberal Democrats have grounds to consider just about all illegal aliens to be potential Democrat voters mass uncontrolled illegal immigration will only get worse.

#2 - "Americans hate ILLEGAL immigration."
No one minds or shouldn´t people who want to come here legally, have NO crime record, work hard, pay taxes, learn English and be proud to be an American. And let all your extended family get in the back of the line too.

Big difference.

The vital incoherent center

Here’s one political paradox: A substantial majority of Americans do not fit neatly into the conventional “liberal” and “conservative” boxes, yet there is no coherent political center. Those who dream of a middle-of-the-road third party are destined to be disappointed. Here’s another: Groups broadly sympathetic to the Democratic Party significantly outnumber those sympathetic to the Republican Party. But in the smaller but influential universe of the ideologically committed, conservative Republicans outnumber liberal Democrats. The larger Democratic coalition has mixed convictions while the smaller Republican core is filled with passionate intensity. Every decade or so, the Pew Research Center sorts the U.S. electorate

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi will travel to the southern border of the U.S. on Saturday to be briefed by Customs and Border Protection on the flood of unaccompanied minors entering the country. The California Democrat will also meet with a group of children held at the South Texas Detention Facility. “The humanitarian crisis unfolding across our nation’s southern border demands Congress come together and find thoughtful, compassionate and bipartisan solutions,” Pelosi said. “We must ensure our laws are fully enforced, so that due process is provided to unaccompanied children and the safety and well-being of unaccompanied children is protected. Michelle Obama took some heat in 2008 for saying that, "for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country..." As it turns out, that sentiment isn´t all that unusual on the far left of American politics. According to a new Pew Research Center study, only 40 percent of consistently liberal Americans say they often feel proud to be Americans. The other 60 percent say that doesn´t describe them. The finding is contained in Pew´s new "Political Typology" report, which breaks Americans down into seven different categories -- rather than the usual three. Among the seven categories, "solid liberals"

The FBI has seized 80,000 potentially damning emails from Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp., giving the media titan worries on both sides of the Atlantic in the ongoing phone hacking scandal. While Murdoch was in London on Thursday facing the fallout from the conviction of one of his former star editors, it was disclosed in the U.S. that the FBI took and shared the mountain of emails with British prosecutors. The emails, all copied from servers at News Corp.’s Midtown headquarters, include messages Rebekah Brooks, Murdoch’s former protégé, sent up the chain of command during the height of the phone-hacking scandal, The Daily

A three-course lunch hosted by an eccentric Chinese millionaire for 250 homeless New Yorkers in a posh restaurant degenerated into fury when guests were denied $300 cash handouts. It had seemed such a good idea. Recycling tycoon Chen Guangbiao last week took out ads in American newspapers promising a first-rate meal at the Boathouse in Central Park and $300 each. Guests were bused in and treated to a sit-down meal of seared tuna, filet mignon and seasonal berries, waited on by staff in suits and bow ties, but anger flared over the cash no-show.

By the time she announced yesterday that she was stepping down as ABC’s evening news anchor, Diane Sawyer had become the queen of the big flashy interview. Both Chris Christie and Hillary Clinton chose her for their first sitdown at high-pressure moments—Christie as he was battling the Bridgegate allegations, Clinton as she was kicking off her book-slash-campaign tour. And Sawyer, with her disarming style, got both of them to commit candor, not an easy thing to achieve with programmed politicians. In an era when network anchors are often accused of leaning left, Sawyer had the distinction of once working for Richard Nixon,

By her own admission, Hillary Clinton would have to be crazy to run for president in 2016, which many believe the former first lady will do. In an interview with PBS’s Gwen Ifill which airs Wednesday night, Clinton was asked about a quote her husband, Bill Clinton, made during his 1992 presidential campaign when he said that the definition of “insanity” is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. “You have to be a little bit crazy to run for president, let me just put it like that,” Clinton said. The Keystone Pipeline project was expected to create tens of thousands of high paying jobs in the oil industry. The project itself would create 20,000 construction jobs. And the pipeline would bring oil from Canada and North Dakota to refineries in the United States. The proposed project would have extended from Alberta, Canada to Illinois, transporting approximately 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day. Estimated cost is $1.7 billion. But Obama rejected the plan in 2011 and 2014. Democrats are beholden to the radical green movement – the poor and middle class be damned. Now this… Canada pulled the plug on Keystone and will

Edward Klein’s book about the animosity between the Clintons and Obamas, “Blood Feud” (Regnery Publishing), rocketed up the best-seller charts since it was featured in The Post last Sunday. Here, in another exclusive excerpt, Klein describes how Bill’s health is a preoccupation of the Clintons. A pair of black, armor-plated SUVs swung into a suburban cul-de-sac and crunched to a stop in the driveway of the Clintons’ home in Chappaqua, New York. A wall of burly Secret Service agents jumped out and surrounded the man who emerged from the lead vehicle. It was mid-summer 2013, and Bill Clinton looked shrunken and weary.

As thousands of disease-riddled criminals storm across our borders, is it really time to mince words? President Obama appears to have an Agenda for America that stinks worse than a Border Patrol bus depot crammed with urine-drenched illegals. Is the man trying to protect and defend us, or does he want us to kick the bucket, run down the curtain, and join the choir invisible? On January 29, 2014, the Department of Homeland Security advertised for a vendor to escort 65,000 “unaccompanied alien children,” indicating that they not only knew the alien invasion was coming, they planned it.

Today, the Supreme Court ruled in the nationally followed Hobby Lobby case. The for-profit corporations that brought these cases to the Supreme Court—a craft store and a cabinet manufacturer—argued that the corporations’ religious convictions should excuse them from compensating their employees through the comprehensive health insurance required by law. Specifically, these private employers sought to exclude insurance coverage of several forms of birth control because, contrary to medical and scientific evidence, the corporations’ owners believe some birth control causes abortions. The Affordable Care Act already includes special arrangements for houses of worship and religious non-profits, like schools and hospitals. Houses

Said McCain, "There are some people complaining that African-American voters voted. [But] I thought one of the major priorities of the Republican Party was to get all minority and ethnic voters out to vote for Republicans." He described Cochran´s "get-out-the-vote campaign"
