Hobby Lobby 1, Obamacare 0

The Supreme Court upheld the religious freedom rights of Hobby Lobby, the closely-held corporation owned by believing Christians who objected to being required to supply the abortion pill to their employees. Steve Ertelt of Life News reports: …the U.S. Supreme Court today issued a favorable ruling in Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., a landmark case addressing the Constitutionally guaranteed rights of business owners to operate their family companies without violating their deeply held religious convictions. Writing for the 5-4 majority, Justice Samuel Alito handed down the decision for the high court, saying, “The Supreme Court holds government can’t require

Of course there is a dark side to the victory. Atheists and other anti-Christians, meaning most of the left including Obama, will simply double down on their efforts to destroy Christianity by other means. Expect lawsuits in a very short time by gays against churches who refuse to "marry" them, and expect lawsuits against the Bible in any public place, later including churches themselves. All this will come about soon.

Those who have believed that there will be no consequence to a continued Democrat control of the Senate might take a closer look at this ruling. It was a close one. It´s entirely possible that Barack Obama will have at least one and perhaps 2 SC appointments to make. A Democrat Senate ensures his victory with those selections.

Just a thought, friends.

We can take care of the rinos later (as much as I hate to say it since I would like to take care of them this very minute), but the country is bigger than them.

President Barack Obama is self-righteously grumbling that, having been stymied by Republicans in Congress, he’ll enact immigration reform on his own by voice vote in the West Wing. That is, via executive decree — his go-to method of governing given his crushing lack of success on Capitol Hill. But Obama’s promised executive actions will likely entomb immigration reform, which is already dead for the year, in the great sarcophagus of permanently missed opportunities that houses much of whatever it is Obama wanted to do or should have achieved. The demise of his immigration agenda was predictable because it was killed

In 2008, when the plate was set for the national Democrats, she lost the nomination to Barack Obama, of scant years and no gravitas, who soared out of nowhere to wrench destiny from her on the unspecified promise of "change." Now, "change" has come, and people don´t like it.
