DALLAS, Texas--The arrests of two suspected sex traffickers were made public at a press conference in El Paso at the Mexican border. One of the accused was a volunteer at a middle school for the Ysleta Independent School District (ISD). The alleged victim is an underage student in the same district. Adam Deswan Guzman, 41, had been charged with two counts of the sex-trafficking of a 16 year-old Ysleta High School student. In March, he was indicted on those two counts. The corpse of an 11-year-old--believed to be an unaccompanied migrant from Guatemala--was discovered on June 15 in La Joya, Texas. The body was found in brush, according to Action 4 News. La Joya is located in Hidalgo County, which borders Mexico. Eddie Guerra, the Hidalgo County Sheriff, will hold a press conference on June 3o to discuss the body´s discovery. Currently, thousands of illegal immigrants--most of whom are from Central America--enter the U.S. each day, and the flow of people at the border shows no signs of slowing. The trek north is incredibly dangerous, and can be deadly. Just last

DALLAS, Texas—Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins ran off and disappeared after agreeing to an interview with Breitbart Texas about his plans to shelter the unaccompanied children being evacuated from the Texas border crisis region. The disappearing act occurred on the final day of the Texas Democrat Party state convention in his home county. During the convention, Judge Jenkins announced his plans to bring approximately 1,000 migrants to the Dallas area to be housed in an undetermined shelter location. Breitbart Texas’ Kristin Tate reported the Judge saying, “We can’t help all, but we can help some.” Breitbart Texas legal news contributor,

The head of a left-wing think tank has taken to the pages of the Guardian to publicly moan about journalists doing their job. In his bizarre diatribe which tells you more about the ineptitude of his organisation than it does the "Murdoch empire" (his words) – the chairman of Compass claims that because a think-tank meeting was not press released on, that journalists somehow had a duty to steer clear. Just look at some of the utter crap that Neil Lawson writes: "...a journalist or contact of the Sunday Times had sneaked in, surreptitiously recorded it all and turned it

Edward Klein’s book about the animosity between the Clintons and Obamas, “Blood Feud” (Regnery Publishing), rocketed up the best-seller charts since it was featured in The Post last Sunday. Here, in another exclusive excerpt, Klein describes how Bill’s health is a preoccupation of the Clintons. A pair of black, armor-plated SUVs swung into a suburban cul-de-sac and crunched to a stop in the driveway of the Clintons’ home in Chappaqua, New York. A wall of burly Secret Service agents jumped out and surrounded the man who emerged from the lead vehicle. It was mid-summer 2013, and Bill Clinton looked shrunken and weary.

Americans are appalled over the false testimony of four consecutive IRS Commissioners, Lois Lerner’s countless acts of malfeasance, and the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups and specific individuals, among them Senator Grassley. The ultimate outrage came over the lame, intellectually insulting assertions that all of the most relevant emails have gone missing from multiple IRS computers at the same time. Today, Judicial Watch found a federal judge who has the integrity and fortitude to seek Justice—and this isn’t his first whack at the Department of Justice either. Enter Emmet G. Sovereignty in outer space is always a tricky subject, but out of all the lifeless rocks in the solar system it’s safe to say that Mars is more American than most. It may not have a US flag crumpled in mid-wave on the surface, but every robot that’s ever crawled successfully on the planet’s surface has been made in the US. Not for much longer. Last week China announced that it was planning send a rover to Mars by 2020. Last week China announced that it was planning send a rover to Mars by 2020 and bring back samples from

Hillary Clinton claimed that, at the moment she and her husband were signing up for $18 million in book deals, that they were “dead broke.” Harry Reid (who lives in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel) said liberals are getting bullied by Republican billionaires but the Democratic Party “doesn’t have many billionaires” behind it. Joe Biden (family earnings: $407,000 last year plus a free house, driver, meals, etc.) claims he “I don’t own a single stock or bond. . . . I have no savings accounts . . . California: Pro-Business Latino

The burgeoning power of the Latino community in California was illustrated this week by the death of a minimum wage hike proposal in the state Assembly. Despite the fact that the pro-business Latino Caucus is comprised totally of Democrats, one of its members abstained from supporting the bill. It seems the Department of Homeland Security doesn´t know how many stars and stripes there are on the American flag. A DHS press release, dated June 20, commemorated the June 17th naturalization of 15 new US citizens, noting the "15 stars and stripes" on the U.S. flag. The problem is that the American Flag doesn´t have 15 stars and stripes; it has had 13 stripes since the Act of April 4, 1818, was signed by President James Monroe, and 50 stars since 1960, after Hawaii became a state the year before. "These 15 candidates, symbolically representing the 15 stars and

Thad Cochran (R-MS), reacted to the outcome. McDaniel laid out his Republican credentials and questioned why some within his state’s Republican Party had gone to such lengths to for Cochran. “It was shocking,” McDaniel said. “I’m a two-term state senator. I’ve been a Republican since I was 13-years old. I’ve paid my dues. I’ve gone door to door. I’ve given money. I considered these men and woman to be my friends

A new document released this week in Rome puts a wet blanket on the hopes of many Church progressives. The working document in preparation for the global Synod of Bishops reasserts core Church teachings on controversial issues the left had hoped would change. The paper is not a teaching document, but rather a report of sorts drawn from suggestions of national bishops conferences around the world, and is intended to inform the dialogue at the upcoming Extraordinary Synod of Bishops that convenes this October in Rome. This Pope has raised progressive hopes repeatedly since his elevation to the Papacy. Last

Facebook’s News Feed—the main list of status updates, messages, and photos you see when you open Facebook on your computer or phone—is not a perfect mirror of the world. But few users expect that Facebook would change their News Feed in order to manipulate their emotional state. We now know that’s exactly what happened two years ago. For one week in January 2012, data scientists skewed what almost 700,000 Facebook users saw when they logged into its service. Some people were shown content with a preponderance of happy and positive words; some were shown content analyzed as sadder than average.

President Obama will ask Congress to provide more than $2 billion in new funds to control the surge of illegal Central American migrants at the South Texas border, and to grant broader powers for immigration officials to speed deportations of children caught crossing without their parents, White House officials said on Saturday. Mr. Obama will send a letter on Monday to alert Congress that he will seek an emergency appropriation for rapidly expanding border enforcement actions and humanitarian assistance programs to cope with the influx, which includes record numbers of unaccompanied minors and adults bringing children. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) vowed to crush the Tea Party, and with help from Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) in Kentucky, he did, and nationally, he will. House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has sent the Tea Party to the back benches, and after the recent defeat of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.), is his successor any different than him? No. Did anything change? No. The Tea Party is not being done in by Democrats; it is being done in by the party of big business, crony capitalism, big money from insider Wall Street and big banks, the Chamber of Commerce and the corporate lobbying wing of the Tea Party's real nemesis:

I watched The Five discuss the preview of Megyn Kelly’s upcoming Bill Ayers interview. Bob Beckel is still claiming that Obama didn’t know Ayers – “met him once” – and the other four supposedly conservative journalists had nothing to contradict him with! Every reader of AT knows that Ayers and Obama worked together - that Ayers hired Obama for the biggest job of his life before becoming President – handing out $100 million dollars of the Annenberg Challenge grants to radical causes, instead of using it to help Chicago’s schoolchildren. ere is a preview of the interview from Fox: Stanley Kurtz at the Wall St. Journal:

The Keystone Pipeline project was expected to create tens of thousands of high paying jobs in the oil industry. The project itself would create 20,000 construction jobs. And the pipeline would bring oil from Canada and North Dakota to refineries in the United States. The proposed project would have extended from Alberta, Canada to Illinois, transporting approximately 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day. Estimated cost is $1.7 billion. But Obama rejected the plan in 2011 and 2014. Democrats are beholden to the radical green movement – the poor and middle class be damned. Now this… Canada pulled the plug on Keystone and will

I am rapidly coming to the preliminary conclusion that Elizabeth Warren will be the Democrats’ 2016 standard bearer. Hillary Clinton is just too unlikable (remember that Barack Obama called her “likable enough” in one of the most memorable back handed compliments of recent political memory), and too transparently greedy, self-serving, and out of touch. Not to mention the appalling foreign affairs crises the United States faces in the wake of her term as Secretary of State. Her brand is tarnished. As thousands of disease-riddled criminals storm across our borders, is it really time to mince words? President Obama appears to have an Agenda for America that stinks worse than a Border Patrol bus depot crammed with urine-drenched illegals. Is the man trying to protect and defend us, or does he want us to kick the bucket, run down the curtain, and join the choir invisible? On January 29, 2014, the Department of Homeland Security advertised for a vendor to escort 65,000 “unaccompanied alien children,” indicating that they not only knew the alien invasion was coming, they planned it.

Say this for President Obama: He’s got an uncanny ability to block out distractions and keep his eye on the ball. Facing a horrific expansion of terrorism in the Mideast, a meltdown of public support at home and major rebukes by the Supreme Court, the president remains fixated on No. 1. “I’m finding lately I just want to say what’s on my mind,” he told a Minneapolis audience Friday, and then ticked off a series of complaints about — surprise — Republicans. “They don’t do anything, except block me and call me names,” he said. “If they were more interested in growing the

And as long as they insist on doing it, I’ll keep taking actions on my own – like the actions I’ve taken already to attract new jobs, lift workers’ wages, and help students pay off their loans,” Obama said. “I’ll do my job, and if it makes Republicans in Congress mad that I’m trying to help

President Obama´s closest advisor, Valerie Jarrett says there´s no way, no how Michelle Obama runs for political office. But will Jarrett? The aide is leaving that possibility open. "I want to talk to you about the future," said the NBC reporter interviewing Jarrett. "Is Michelle Obama going to run for office?" "No," Jarrett said resolutely. "You said that very definitively," the reporter countered. "Well, I´m absolutely, 100 percent positive that that will never happen," Jarrett proclaimed. The reporter prodded, "How about Valerie Jarrett? Will you ever run for office?" "Unlikely," Obama´s adviser said, leaving the door slightly open. "But maybe?"
