Barack Carter
New York Daily News, by James Kirchick

Original Article

It’s now official: On foreign policy, Barack Obama is worse than Jimmy Carter. For decades, Carter’s presidency was synonymous with weakness on the world stage. The late 1970’s was the era of double-digit inflation, a worldwide oil crisis, Iranian hostages and Soviet military advances from Latin America to Afghanistan. So pathetic was America’s predicament at the time that the late Massachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy mounted a primary challenge to Carter from the left. Obama’s rise to power mirrored his Democratic predecessor’s in many ways. Both men came to office in the wake of widespread public disenchantment with the political

Barack 0bama is a great unifying force......bringing together the incompetence of Jimmy Peanuts with the in-your-face illegalities of Slick Willy.
An unmitigated disaster for America.

When at last confronted by a perfect storm of adversaries, after a few bloody months we will place ourselves under the protection of the United Nations, which will command our military, and tax and regulate us for the benefit of the world. And the Golfer-in-Chief will be celebrated by the left as the greatest, and longest serving, president of all time.

Carter only lasted one term, and was a benign man compared to Obama. Obama has the power of the phone and the pen, and he´s going to use them to advance his transformation of America. And the Republicans will help him, if not merely leave him unopposed.

34 years after he left office, we´re still reaping the bitter harvest of the Carter presidency in a nuclear Iran.

What will the 30 years after Obama bring? I shudder to think.

Last week we visited the Reagan Library again and were especially struck by how the introductory video, showing the world left by Carter, could be accurately describing today´s world. So #1 is so right on. We desperately need another Reagan and all he embodied.

Although Carter turned me into a Republican I never thought he intentionally was out to destroy the country, he was just a classic naive liberal. Obozo on the other hand has set out to destroy this country and is a racist to the core. He should have run for President of the New Black Panthers Not President of this great country. He would make a poor President in a bankrupt third world hell hole.

The levels of Antarctic sea-ice last week hit an all-time high – confounding climate change computer models which say it should be in decline. America’s National Snow And Ice Data Center, which is funded by Nasa, revealed that ice around the southern continent covers about 16million sq km, more than 2.1?million more than is usual for the time of year. It is by far the highest level since satellite observations on which the figures depend began in 1979. In statistical terms, the extent of the ice cover is hugely significant. The Antarctic surge is so big that overall, although Arctic

President Obama has gone from “yes we can” to “so sue me.” The president’s standoffish remark this week about a Republican lawsuit was a reminder of how much Obama’s rhetoric has changed since his 2008 campaign and its promise to deliver a new kind of politics. These ten Obama quotations illustrate the transformation. 1. July 27, 2004: “There´s not a liberal America and a conservative America. There´s the United States of America.” Obama vaults onto the national stage with a call for unity at the Democratic National Convention in Boston. 2. Feb. 5, 2008: “We know that what began as

New York - It’s tough being Hillary Clinton. Her book’s a flop, she’s angered ordinary Americans with crass remarks about money and now her husband’s sex life is a New York musical. The lofty ideals and sordid scandal of the eight-year Clinton White House have been rolled into a two-hour, two-act musical satire making its U.S. premiere in the Big Apple on July 18. Looked upon affectionately as one of America’s best presidents despite his human flaws, Clinton treads the boards played by two characters: super-smart statesman William and bed-hopping Bill. “Sunday morning” Bill dreams of universal health care, welfare

No public appearances are scheduled for Thursday, at least so far. On Friday, the Fourth of July, the president and first lady Michelle Obama are scheduled to host a White House barbecue for military service members and their families.

The National Transportation Safety Board has denied a petition for reconsideration of its findings in the investigation of the 1996 crash of TWA flight 800. The board said Wednesday that a team of investigators not part of the original investigation has confirmed NTSB´s previous finding that an oxygen buildup in a partially empty fuel tank caused an explosion that destroyed the plane in-flight off the coast of Long Island, New York. The TWA 800 Project filed the petition. It says a "detonation or high-velocity explosion" could have caused the crash. Among other evidence, the group cites witnesses who say they saw a

In an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos aired Sunday on "This Week," the president highlighted the growing fears that those trained in Middle East terrorist cells can go back to Europe or the United States to execute an attack. “They’re gaining strength in some places. We’ve seen Europeans who are sympathetic to [the terrorist] cause traveling into Syria, and now may travel into Iraq, getting battle-hardened. A charter plane believed to be carrying immigrants arrived this evening at San Diego’s Lindbergh Field, apparently from Texas. Three Homeland Security buses arrived a few minutes later, trailed by numerous law enforcement vehicles. There is no information as to the buses´ destination. Earlier this week, federal officials said that 140 immigrants who had been detained crossing the border in Texas would arrive Friday. But since the blockade by protesters Tuesday at Murrieta, officials have declined to provide information about the movement of the immigrants.

The Obamas have spent over 44 million dollars in taxpayer money on travel and vacations. Some are even calling him the “most well-trvaeled, expensive” president in our nation’s history. Our president vacations a lot — we’re talking $44,351,777.12 worth of “a lot,” with most expenses charged to the American taxpayer. As of March 2014, Obama has spent more time traveling internationally than any other president, taking 31 trips since assuming office in 2009. The 119 days spent overseas have

President Obama has quietly promised Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren complete support if she runs for president — a stinging rebuke to his nemesis Hillary Clinton, sources tell me. Publicly, Obama has remained noncommittal on the 2016 race, but privately he worries that Clinton would undo and undermine many of his policies. There’s also a personal animosity, especially with Bill Clinton, that dates from their tough race six years ago. A former Harvard law professor and administration aide, Warren would energize the left wing of the Democrat Party just as Obama did against Clinton in 2008. When the German botanist Philipp von Siebold sent a variety of plant specimens to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew in August 1850, he had no idea what he was unleashing on the world. Among the various floral and tuberous growths he dispatched was a plant which, 164 years later, is leaving a trail of mayhem all across the planet. It goes by the name of Japanese knotweed, or Fallopia japonica. It presents a pleasing appearance to the eye: heart-shaped leaves, bamboo stems and pretty, little white-flower tassels.
