‘Debunking the progressive myths’
Daily Inter Lake (Kalispell, MT), by P. David Myerowitz

Original Article

Last week my wife and I previewed a new movie produced by local superstar producer Jerry Molen and director Dinesh D’Souza entitled “America: Imagine the World Without Her.” The two had previously produced and directed “2016: Obama’s America,” a film critical of Obama and revealing of his radicalized personal history. So what is the purpose of their latest outstanding production, “America”? In piercing interviews and stock film footage of some of the most radical progressives (the likes of Noam Chomsky, Saul Alinsky and Ward Churchill), Mr. D’Souza presents five complaints against America, defining the progressive ideology that

Comments:
"Progressivism" is built on a foundation of lies.
Unfortunately, being divorced from reality and ignorant of history are prerequisites for being a Prog, so this great movie will most likely not be seen by the people who need to see it most.

No wonder they´ve gone after D´Souza, while letting the fellowing traveling mafioso off the hook. The last thing "progressives" want is having their so-called idealism exposed as bunk, and malicious bunk at that. They´ll do anything to make sure their lies live on.

If you have ever wondered why liberals generally refuse to debate any topic in any kind of rational and civilized manner......it is because defending lies is hard work and no fun.

Just as most Christians don´t live up to the ideals of Christ, Americans have not always lived up to their ideals. But we try, which is more than can be said of most other countries. Progressives get it exactly backwards. Communism and Islam steals the labor and resources of the world. Capitalism pays for it.

A World Health Organization official on Thursday urged millions of Muslims making the pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, to exercise basic hygiene as mass gatherings pose risks of spreading the Middle East respiratory syndrome. The U.N. agency has recorded 827 cases of MERS and 287 deaths, mostly in Saudi Arabia. The virus is believed primarily acquired through contact with camels and spread among humans through body fluids and droplets. Hand washing and keeping away from coughing people are simple ways to prevent the virus´ spread, said Mark Jacobs, WHO Western Pacific region director for communicable diseases. The conservative group America Rising is calling on the nonprofit Clinton Foundation to release documents about its spending after potential presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton disclosed she donated her six-figure speaking fees to the group. The list includes the foundation’s IRS Form 990 for 2013, which was required to be submitted to the IRS by May 15, as well as additional documents involving staff and expenses related to travel, events and celebrities. Clinton recently announced she had donated the money after complaints about the amounts of fees some cash-strapped universities paid her. “After mounting political pressure, Hillary Clinton chose to donate her near $2

Yes, that is the commander in chief shaking hands with a person wearing a horse mask in Denver. That was a little bit before someone in the crowd offered the president marijuana -- legal in Colorado -- which he declined, smiling. The horse picture, snapped Tuesday night while President Obama walked and greeted people on the streets of downtown, went viral almost as fast as it was clicked. Needless to say, the Internet had a field day.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has been filmed limping on to the stage on the anniversary of his grandfather´s death The footage - which was broadcast by state media - showed him hobbling quickly on to the centre of a large stage in front of a portrait of his grandfather, North Korean founding president Kim Il Sung, who died 20 years ago. State media and propaganda are highly choreographed in the isolated country - where leaders are portrayed as semi-divine - and any defects leadership are usually kept a tightly guarded secret. Disgraced former New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin was set to be sentenced by a federal judge on Wednesday on 20 corruption charges that could land him in prison for two decades. A jury in February found Nagin guilty of charges that include bribery, wire fraud, conspiracy, money laundering and tax evasion, all in the wake of hurricane Katrina. Nagin stirred national controversy with his erratic behavior after Katrina in 2005 breached floodwalls and inundated New Orleans, killing at least 1,500 people and leaving tens of thousands homeless. Prosecutors have asked for a stiff sentence of about 20 years, while Nagin´s attorney, citing his

A top White House official on Wednesday defended President Barack Obama’s response to the Texas border crisis and rejected the notion that it could become the president’s “Katrina.” “It doesn’t make sense to compare this to a natural disaster,” White House Domestic Policy Council Director Cecilia Muñoz said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” when asked about the Hurricane Katrina comparison. “This is a humanitarian situation that we have been on top of from the very beginning.” Earlier this week, Democratic Rep. WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is calling attention to a Colorado woman who got a raise after Obama called for an increase in the minimum wage. Obama will have dinner in Denver on Tuesday with a woman the White House is identifying only as Alex. White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer says Alex´s boss voluntarily raised her pay the day after Obama´s January State of the Union address. That´s when Obama urged Congress to raise the federal minimum to $10.10 an hour. Pfeiffer says the raise allowed Alex to pay her rent and groceries without concern and says Alex wrote Obama to

You wouldn’t think, five years into the Obama presidency, that so many liberal Americans wouldn’t like America. A new Pew survey found that 44 percent of Americans don’t often feel pride in being an American, and only 28 percent said that America is the greatest country in the world. Respondents who “often feel proud to be American” were overwhelmingly conservative (from 72 percent to 81 percent depending on the kind of conservative). A majority (60 percent) of “solid liberals” said they don’t often feel proud to be an American. The polling data only proves what has been obvious for a

Despite fiery statements issued by Hamas spokesmen over the past 48 hours, it was obvious Tuesday night that the Islamist movement was searching for ways to rid itself of the current escalation. Hamas feels that it has been forced into a confrontation with Israel – one that it did not want at this stage because of its increased isolation and financial crisis. The massive Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours have surprised Hamas and other Palestinian groups. Hamas apparently expected a limited response to the recent rocket attacks on Israeli cities and towns. But as the

President Obama’s ultimate weakness may be that he believes his own blarney. A year ago, Mr. Obama boasted in a “fireside” Web chat that his “is the most transparent administration in history.” There was not the slightest hint of irony. He may actually believe it. But three-dozen organizations representing newspapermen and other journalists, mostly liberals, beg to differ. In a testy letter to the president on Tuesday, the group decried the “slick non-answers” and cold shoulders they’re getting from Mr. Obama’s representatives, who have restricted access to any information they consider embarrassing to the administration. “The stifling of free expression,” the signers
