IT Trade Association Questions Whether
Lerner´s Emails Were Destroyed

Weekly Standard, by Jim Swift

Were Lois Lerner’s allegedly lost emails actually destroyed? An Ohio-based trade association, the International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers (IAITAM), isn’t so sure, and they don’t find IRS commissioner Koskinen’s explanation of their loss very plausible. IAITAM administers internationally accepted certifications for information technology professionals. According to the group’s standards, if Lerner’s supposedly malfunctioning hardware was properly destroyed, there would be records of it. Dr. Barbara Rembiesa, president of IAITAM, questions whether there is documentation of the destruction of the files. Who performed the work, says Rembiesa, is important because not all IT professionals are IAITAM certified. “The notion

Of course Lerner´s emails were destroyed... Intentionally. And with forethought. She got too wordy with obama´s staff, in those emails.

One of the lawyers on van Susteren last night said a tip hotline should be set up so the IRS employees, the recipients of Lerner´s emails, anyone else with info could simply call and talk. I thought it was an excellent idea. I´m not sure who should set it up and who should man it, but I hope someone is working on the project.

I think that Lerner was in contact with both the WH administration and the democrats on the hill. I also think a hot line….no names necessary should be set up. There are good people working is the government that would sing because they are fed up with this garbage.

There isn´t a single IT professional I know who believes the explanations given for the alleged loss of those emails. In fact, we laugh at the very thought that anyone would be ignorant enough to believe them.

What we can´t understand is why the Republicans only question the ignorant or complicit management types. Where are the subpoenas for the IRS IT personnel who were tasked with backups, archiving, searching, or destruction of the drives for both Lerner and the other 6 collaborators? 7 crashed computers?! HaHaHaHaHa...Puhleasssse. Not possible in a million years.

Criminal conspiracy. Period.

If they were "destroyed" it was done so deliberately. It would have been a multi-step process, not just one desktop unit with a crashed hard drive.

And given that the "lost" emails were not reported to the archives as REQUIRED BY LAW screams that this is a deliberate deception and coverup.

Some one needs to be facing criminal charges in this whole charade.

In addition, the criminals are saying the back-up tapes were recycled. If that were true it would be another criminal act since there is certainly a legal retention period that would likely be seven years or more.

All these childish cover-ups need to be exposed by getting actual prosecutors on the job and putting these smart aleck punks from IRS on the stand and give them a grueling. The civil court is the only option at this point since congress is impotent

Is it just me in my impatience, but this appears to be the most slow moving investigation in history? Why can´t these guys ask tight questions and demand an answer that does not allow for filibustering. If you want answers ask the IT people who do the work, not their supervisors. Everyone else is in CYA mode.

Apparently our government is unable to run an efficient investigation without incurring millions doing it and stretching it out for years. This is ridiculous. I am beginning to believe the Republicans are afraid of what they will find and then will be forced to act upon it. People need to go to jail for what they have done to American citizens. We forget that people´s lives were turned upside down simply because of their political views. That is unconscionable. I wonder how fast the investigation would be moving if the victims were liberals.

Very revealing to me was the answer given by Kostinen when asked how he found out about the "lost" emails. He said, I can´t remember. Then he was pressed how many people actually reported info to him.. personally. He said 5-6. So then he was asked again.. after all this time and these were the most important items being requested, and some person comes in and tells you.. sorry boss the emails were destroyed... you don´t remember which of those 6 people it was?? He then fell back on, "I have 90,000 people working for me at the IRS"! Bingo... he is hiding information.

Any hotline for whistle blowers would quickly be shredded by millions of interference calls by Democrat operatives. Lets´ hope some good American working at the IRS has the sense to simply pick up the phone and call Issa´s office. It´s that simple, really. Or, why not just send a note via snail mail? If they really have the smoking gun, it would not be that hard to let it be known.

Of course it´s all taking too long. That´s the bad news.
However, that it´s constantly IN THE NEWS, is the good news.
It means that slowly, very slowly, all the dummies Lo-Fos,
every idiot in the mainstream press and media, will HAVE to learn about it. REPETITION is our friend. The government repeats and repeats and accomplishes their indoctrinations, now the good guys are repeating and repeating this unprecedented revealing story. It´s all to our benefit, it will not go away, no matter how true the Ruling Class protective example may be. Repetition wins !

Benghazi has an easy several dozen "on the ground" witnesses that are all being stifled, intimidated, life threatened, to reveal what they know about Obama and Hilary´s death dealing lunacy

Here, with IRS written, printed material, there could be ONE THOUSAND POTENTIAL WHISTLEBLOWERS. Why don´t they ALL COME OUT TOGETHER in mass, like the wounded vets and their families DID? The VA MASS WHISTLEBLOWING IS all time, history making, precedent setting!

THE IRS WHISTLEBLOWING can also be a massive act of MANY. The IRS cannot murder, assassinate anybody at this stage of the exploitation. The risks of death or prison to a whistleblower must have dropped tremendously.

What does Vegas say now about survival of IRS whistleblowers ? WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF SURVIVAL NOW?

#14 is right. But that is because the law is entirely absent from this administration. Holder won´t prosecute. The honest IGs have been warned off. What information has been obtained has most often come from FOIA requests followed by law suits when the info has been withheld. We need as individuals to start investigating IRS procedures for data storage on the web and then start filing FOIA requests to verify they are using those procedures.

#17 is right. The two dominant parties play, "I won´t tattle on you, you don´t tattle on me. OK?" Of course that is why both established parties are vicious whenever an honest person appears on the scene. We really do have to toss out anybody who has served more than two terms. They just wouldn´t have had the media support and party money unless they played the game.

The idea of pulling nearly all American troops out of Afghanistan in 2016 suddenly seems pretty lousy, after so much of Iraq has collapsed under a similar scenario. When President Obama announced his plan to leave Afghanistan by the end of 2016, U.S. intelligence said it could be done safely. Now, intelligence and military leaders are privately warning that the U.S. counterterrorism forces could be needed there for much longer. During the internal administration debate earlier this year over the way forward in Afghanistan, the CIA supported a plan to degrade al Qaeda to the point that America could withdraw

How does one explain the plummeting poll numbers for Barack Obama? Most people would point to the disarray and consequences of ObamaCare, the IRS scandal, the border crisis, the collapse of Iraq, the VA scandal, the impotent reaction to Russia’s seizure of Crimea, chronic long-term unemployment, and a host of nonsensical distractions staged by the White House to distract from all of the above and more. Last month, polls showed a majority of Americans thought Obama lacked the necessary leadership for his job, and rated his competence below that of George W. Bush at a similar point in their presidencies.

This may come as a shock, but only 55 million years ago, our planet had no polar ice caps; in fact, it nearly became a steamy, runaway greenhouse world, with CO2 levels exceeding 2,500 ppm. Then, all of a sudden, something intervened, causing a shift. Atmospheric carbon dioxide began to drop, steadily generating today´s world, with ice caps at both poles. But why did this happen? And better yet, could whatever triggered this drastic switch be used to temper today´s climate? Good questions. But the answers lay buried deep in the Arctic, hidden to researchers. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News.
