Tea party groups are apoplectic over
how Cochran won in Mississippi

Yahoo News, by Chris Moody

Original Article

“What happened yesterday in Mississippi will resonate for years to come. It will become the battle cry, just like the Alamo,” one activist said. In the long, sordid war between the Republican Party “establishment” and tea party factions working to unseat those they see as ideologically wayward, nothing has infuriated conservative activists quite like what happened Tuesday in Mississippi.Following a three-week runoff campaign between 36-year Republican Sen. Thad Cochran and tea party-backed candidate Chris McDaniel, the incumbent defeated his challenger by about 6,400 votes — a bigger margin than in the first primary vote on June 3.

Don´t get mad, get even. Vote for Senator Cockroach´s Democrat opponent. Two can play this game. After all, it makes no difference whether Cockroach or the other Democrat gets elected.

Wish a conservative politician would step up to the plate, give us a conservative party and we´ll show you how many conservatives are out here. At least you would be reasonably sure your vote would count.

You can thank Karl Rove, in part, for this. According to Mark Levin this evening, Thad Cochran got a lot of money from Rove´s group.

Hugh Hewitt, a supposed ´conservative´ name dropping blabber mouth talk show guy had a caller asking him why he did not cover the result of this Mississippi ´election´ Mr. Non conservative blew him of with a testy ´Cochran is the better candidate and the election is over, so suck it up!"
With ´conservative´ friends like that who needs enemies. Previous callers, who challenged him on his being a conservative, were tossed off in the same fashion.
Of course this explains why he has people from CNN, Politico, etc. on to no end and endorses them to no end!
Tea Party, do stay away from this host!

McDaniel would´ve done better without interference of the money grubbing Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund PAC. If he wants to win in the future he needs to make sure TP groups are no longer seen as part of his campaign. TPP Citizens Fund PAC collected and spent $9 million so far this year mostly from small donors who imagined their money would go to a TP candidate. None of the $9 million went directly to McDaniel. The group repeatedly used his name to raise money. They even put their name on yard signs along with McDaniel´s. The TP is seen as the KKK to blacks all over the country. TPP CEO Jenny Beth Martin makes $450,000 a year. Luckily, she decided not to get involved with Dave Brat´s race against Cantor. With her interference, Cantor might´ve won.

WASHINGTON The fever-swamp fantasy coursing through conservative America — that Barack Obama one day soon will be frog-marched out of office for "high crimes and misdemeanours" — is proving astonishingly resilient. Barely one day after House Majority Leader John Boehner moved to drown the deafening impeachment chatter, announcing instead a Republican plan to sue the president for executive overreach, the clamour returned Friday like an unwhacked mole. Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, showing once again that even if Washington doesn´t take her seriously, millions of others do, tore a strip off Boehner in a fresh missive for Fox News, decrying the

The “ugly American” has gotten a lot uglier over the past few weeks, from the streets of California to the halls of Congress and state houses around the country. A growing number of our fellow Americans have taken on grotesque features, in looks and sounds, in reaction to the thousands of children from Central America who have crossed our borders as they flee poverty and violence in hope for something better. Sadly, the arrival of these youngsters has been greeted by flag-waving, sign-carrying, Bible-thumping and Constitution-quoting citizens demanding that they not be received here and that they be returned immediately to their

Think Mitt Romney won´t run again in 2016? For those dismissing the possibility of the two-time presidential candidate launching another bid -- and they may be wise to do so -- a recent poll at least shows the former GOP nominee still has a loyal following in parts of the country. First, the reality check. Romney, after two tiring presidential campaigns, consistently has said he is not running. But the University of New Hampshire/WMUR-TV poll in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire recently showed Romney with 30 percent support -- blowing away a crowded field of potential 2016 Republican candidates who fail

The Center for American Progress is calling for Congress to ditch the federal gas tax in lieu of a system where drivers pay fees for road construction based on how many miles they travel. The proposed mileage-based system has been controversial in previous transportation funding debates because critics question how government would monitor the traveling habits of drivers without infringing upon their privacy. But the Center for American Progress said Friday that taxing drivers based on how far they drive is a much more sustainable system than the current 18.4 cents per gallon federal gas tax. I met Mirabel in 2011, four years after she had left her home in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, a city reputed to be the murder capital of the world. She, her sisters and mother were terrorized by an alcoholic father who abused them and stole the earnings from her mother’s struggling grocery store to spend on liquor and women. The tipping point came when Mirabel, then 16, confronted her father after a drunken rampage, and he nearly killed her with a machete. When an uncle offered to pay for a smuggler to take Mirabel to the United States, her mother

However, when pressed by Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK), Greenburg made it clear the Obama administration doesn’t even want to know to whom they are releasing the children, disclosing the reality that HHS does “not verify the immigration status of the individual.” Pressed further by Coburn,

Sen. Lamar Alexander´s (R-Tenn.) primary challenger, Tennessee state Rep. Joe Carr, picked up another national Tea Party endorsement Thursday, the same day he released a new statewide radio ad. The issue at the center of both the Tea Party Patriots’ endorsement and Carr’s new ad is Alexander’s alleged support for “amnesty” for illegal immigrants, a charge Carr has made central to his campaign against the senator. The Tea Party Patriots endorsement praised Carr as a "genuine leader" in the fight against illegal immigration, criticizing Alexander for being one of the 14 Republicans to vote for the reform bill that passed the Senate

Glenn Beck has set up Mercury One Children and Family Border Relief Fund to help illegals coming into the United States. He’s already raised $600,000. Beck stated that Obama would not have to step in and ask for $3.7 billion if private charities would pick up the slack and give to the swarm of illegals crossing the border. Is he kidding? Do we really need more churches and non-profits enabling this blatant attack on America? Rich people and liberal elite billionaires have no skin in the game when it comes to the consequences of illegal immigration so what do they care? On Friday’s broadcast of PBS’s “NewsHour” New York Times columnist David Brooks and Creators Syndicate columnist Mark Shields took on the House Speaker John Boehner’s lawsuit against the Obama administration, which alleges oversteps in executive authority by the Obama White House. Both acknowledged Boehner’s gripe with the Obama administration had merit, but were skeptical of the lawsuit’s chances. However, they both also took on the alternative offered by former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK), which was to impeach President Barack Obama. Both dismissed that course of action as well, with Brooks calling it “cloud cuckoo land.” Partial transcript as follows: WOODRUFF: So the Highway Trust
