Issa Expands Investigation – Subpoenas
28 Years of Lois Lerner Emails

Lois Lerner, the controversial director of the tax-exempt organizations division at the Internal Revenue Service, has a long sordid history of targeting conservatives. Under the direction of Lois Lerner, the Federal Election Commission sued the Christian Coalition in the 1990s. She harassed the Christian Coalition for three election cycles. Eventually, she lost her case. At one point Lerner even asked a targeted conservative if Pat Robertson prayed over him. (Sound familiar?) In 1996, while at the FEC, Lois Lerner harassed Republican Senate candidate Al Salvi and made him this outrageous offer, “Promise me you will never run for office again, and

One look at this woman´s face and into her eyes will show you evil personified. With all that´s gone on, I don´t see how the IRS can continue to be an effective agency of the government if we ever get a REAL president in office.

My first thoughts were similar to #1 -- that despite her angelic features, Lois Lerner might well be wearing the face of Evil.

I wonder if she screeches about melllllting if she gets wet.....

Go get´er, Issa.

First audit her just like she is an "ordinary" citizen. Then throw her in jail without a get out of jail pass. The best thing I can say about this Democrat is that she is proof that the IRS should NEVER be put in charge of Obamacare. And while I am on the subject, one of her defenders said last night that the reason her computers crashed was because the Republicans won´t give the IRS enough money to buy new ones. If they are so broke, how come they gave out millions in bonuses? Hmmmmmmm. The Democrats must have studied the Common Core math.

Issa said in an interview that they are wishing for a "proffer" from Lerner´s attorney. Seems they are trying to flush her out, so they can get to the bigger fish. I just hope we dont let her off the hook, for some higher up that is not going to lead inside the WH.

All this is going to drag into the end of o´s term, just like Benghazi. Holder will run out the clock.

Potential presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton is missing the opportunity of a life time if she does not immediately mail Ms. Lerner a retainer check to be her campaign manger in case she decides to "get in it to win it".

This Lerner woman has demonstrated , over a career of many years, that she is extremely talented and proficient at instigating the dirtiest of the dirty tricks. She makes Chuck Colson of the Nixon era look like a naughty fourth grader with a pea shooter.

Hillary, the tarmac bullet dodger, should grab this charlatan and spirit her away before she is measured up and fitted for a fashion orange jump suit. Lois, the "mistress of the lowest" is a natural for directing the Clinton DNC guided efforts at breaking glass. /s

Subpoenas certainly seem to mean something different to governmenrt workers than they do to regular citizens. A court issued subpoena strikes fear in the hearts of most people because there is a date certain you are to appear or you are to provide the court with the requested documents. Evidently the issuance of a subpoena to a government employee means the whistle is blown for the beginning of the hide and obfuscate game. If they can´t get emails for 2 1/2 years, what makes them believe 28 years worth will be forthcoming. Issa should have put into place the process that would have landed Lerner in jail the second time she appeared before his committee and took the fifth. He knew she had previously made a statement nullifying her ability to plead the fifth. Now that would have changed the whole game.

If Issa is seriously going after whoever hired Ms.Lerner for the IRS--and hired her knowing her propensity for acting outside the law according to her political bigotry--then this could be a different path leading to the same pot of muck & poo.

Eventually we have to remove all radical extremists (left wing OR right wing--though I see no signs the GOP ever thinks more than one election-cycle ahead) from the federal bureaucracies where they have embedded themselves. If this line of investigation yields results, it´s worth the effort.

The wheels of a Democracy turn slowly when seeking the truth. On the other side of the coin, evil travels fast in organizations like the IRS, EPA, NSA, DHS and government in general when there isn´t anyone honest in control.

Lois Lerner needs to be investigated, but a government that allows such a creature to commit such alleged egregious actions needs to be investigated from top to bottom. This would work wonders if Congress wasn´t as suspect as the rest of the organizations.

Jail time for all who have committed crimes against the public trust.

If Issa stays at it, doesn´t let it run down, no matter how much delay after delay, if Issa stays at it, remember, he is going after the ultimate armed weapon of fear and misery in our entire government, the IRS. And he´s keeping the idea out there, like nobody would ever have believed just a few year ago. Basically, he is slowly moving to the biggest pay off in American history ...exposure, elimination, of of the mandatory police state

If successful, Issa will be the number one commanding war time, victorious general, to become a deserving President

All four of these classy guys, teaming against a sick, sickly,

I too am frustrated with Issa´s seemingly endless instigations. However, I have seen where Boehner has repeatedly refused to exercise the power he has to do anything about the results of Issa´s investigations. Boehner wont appoint independent counsel to do the investigations or impeach the corrupt heads of these agencies. I guess Issa is doing all he can. Boehner has the authority to turn the words into action.

Folks, I´m afraid we can´t get too worked up over this. 0bama on his last day in office is going to give blanket immunity by executive pardon or immunity to all charges or possible charges to Lois Lerner, Eric Holder and anyone who is involved in Benghazi, Fast and Furious, IRS scandal, and the various EPA scandals. That is why they all have this smug look on their faces while in front of congress.

Before condemning Issa, consider this. Lerner goes to jail, however many years - what happens? The inquiry stops - dead end. Then there is always the pardon on Jan 20, 2017. This way it keeps the thing open and bleeding, all the way to November ´14 and beyond. Remember its not just 0bama but Congressional Democrats Schumer, Durbin, Cummings et al who are stuck in this.

A dog with no teeth may gnaw all day and never break the skin, but he´s happy. Nobody is worried about what Issa is doing, least of all the IRS, the fix is in with Boehner and McConnell. If MS taught us anything it´s that the powers at the helm of our party are not on the side of truth in the least, and are actively engaged in the persecution of our citizenry just like the democrats. You could discover an email that says Lerner made a contract hit through the FBI, and the left would call it a phony scandal, and the GOP would demur.

The tens of thousands of Central Americans who have crossed America’s porous borders over the last year came on the assumption that once on U.S. soil they would never have to return to their countries. The instigators of this influx correctly viewed Obama’s de facto support for amnesty as a flashing green light. After all, how seriously were they going to take U.S. immigration law under a president who treated border security as a punch line to a joke? In 2011, Obama loudly mocked conservatives, the very ones who foresaw today’s mushrooming crisis, as malcontents crying wolf about a vulnerable border. “You

Francis proclaimed, “Despite the large influx of migrants present in all continents and in almost all countries, migration is still seen as an emergency, or as a circumstantial and sporadic fact, while instead it has now become a hallmark of our society and a challenge.” Emmer McCarthy for Vatican Radio said Francis expressed his concern for “the tens of thousands of

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. John McCain, an immigration hawk. Who knew? Mr. McCain, the highest-profile Republican of the U.S. Senate’s “Gang of Eight” that came up with amnesty as the solution to the immigration crisis — and it truly is a crisis — is finally taking a hard line against President Obama for his encouraging the tidal wave of illegal aliens swamping the southwestern border. “There has to be a halt to this,” Mr. McCain thundered Sunday on CNN. “That’s what we want, and the best way to do that is for planeloads of these young people to be returning to their country of origin

Contrary to what those who defend the right to own high-powered assault rifles believe, not all guns are created equal. Due to a combination of availability, portability and criminal usage the following five types of guns are the country's most dangerous. School Shootings: Widely Reported Tragedies Since 2000 - Using firearm trace data from the ATF, as well as FBI homicide records, we determined the types of guns most often recovered from crime scenes and/or used in murders. The numbers are stark: According to the FBI's 2012 Crime in the US data, nearly 70 percent of homicides for which the FBI received weapons data involved the use

It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that
