North Korea has threatened to reap "merciless" retaliation on the USA if they do not ban Seth Rogen and James Franco’s forthcoming comedy, The Interview. The government issued a statement about the film, in which the actors star as two journalists ordered by the CIA to assassinate Kim Jong-un, saying that the country considered the movie "an act of war" and a "wanton act of terror". He also labelled Rogen a "gangster filmmaker". Published by state-run KCNA news agency, the foreign ministry spokesperson said: "The act of making and screening such a movie that portrays an attack on our top leadership...

I think Kim Jong oink and 0bama are having a secret contest to see who can draw more red lines that they have no intention of enforcing.

But seriously, I think this Kim dude could invade San Diego with a fleet of fishing boats and 0bama wouldn´t do a damn thing about it.

The cat is in the bag — and the pussy is hiding out with his mom. It took 16 rescuers and several hours of chasing to capture the stray cat that managed to survive being kicked like a football by a Brooklyn punk — a vicious attack that was captured on video. But so far the only price accused kitty kicker Andre Robinson has paid for launching an innocent animal into the stratosphere has been a night in jail. A small-time punk with eight prior arrests, including one for a knife-point robbery in 2011.

This past week, Fox News, Megyn Kelly, and Dinesh D’Souza gave a platform to an entity that hates America and our way of life. Seems the prospect of smokin’ out a snake like Bill Ayers was too good to pass up. Getting an exclusive one-on-one with a crazy, violent communist with a small c was quite a coup for Kelly and D’Souza...or was it? Since lying and deceit generally benefit the liar, we have to ask, ”What was in it for Bill Ayers?” A mea culpa for past crimes? Hardly. After listening to Ayers, we must conclude: once a psychopath, always a psychopath.

A crowd of 300 angry protestors forced three buses carrying 140 undocumented migrant children and their parents to turn around in Murrieta, California, on Tuesday after they blocked the road. The dramatic confrontation between the flag waving protestors and the Homeland Security buses came one day after Mayor Alan Long urged residents to resist the federal government´s plan to transfer the Central American migrants to California to ease overcrowding of facilities along the Texas-Mexico border. Holding up banners that said ´Return to Sender´ and suggesting the children should be sent to the White House instead, the irate protestors succeeded when the buses

President Obama’s displeasure with gridlock in Washington — and with the Republicans he blames for it — has been rising for months. This week it has boiled over. From the Rose Garden to the Cabinet Room to near the Key Bridge in Georgetown, the president has signaled more than mere annoyance at the state of affairs at the halfway point of this year. His disdain for congressional Republicans has steadily increased; his disrespect for their tactics has hardened into contempt. With immigration reform dead for this year, if not for the remainder of Obama’s presidency; with House Speaker John A.

The White House is not planning to reassess its strategy for handling thousands of unaccompanied minors streaming across the border amid mass protests. White House press secretary Josh Earnest said he had not spoken to President Obama about protests in California that blocked buses full of immigrant detainees from reaching a processing station. But Earnest said there was no expectation of changing strategies to deal with the flood of minors "at this point.” "At this point, what we´re focused on is making sure that we can ramp up the resources that are necessary to meet this growing need," Earnest said. NEW YORK — Target is asking its customers to not bring firearms into its stores, even where it is allowed by law. In a statement posted Wednesday on the retailer´s corporate blog, interim CEO John Mulligan said that Target wants a "safe and inviting" atmosphere for its shoppers and employees. "Bringing firearms to Target creates an environment that is at odds with the family-friendly shopping and work experience we strive to create," he said. (Snip) A group called Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America gathered nearly 400,000 signatures for a petition asking Target to prohibit shoppers from carrying guns

The Vancouver (British Columbia) Board of Education has approved a sweeping new policy for accommodating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit, queer, questioning and “all sexual and gender identities,” including the creation of three pronouns, replacing masculine and feminine with xe, xem and xyr (pronounced ze, zem and zur). Two spirit is an Aboriginal term which means having both feminine and masculine spirits. It´s not limited to gender expression or sexuality, but encompasses them both while incorporating a spiritual element. It´s a standalone identity, not an Aboriginal term for gay lesbian. The Vancouver Board of Education´s policy also includes making restroom and sports

Rep Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) believes the illegal alien children flooding across the border need candy not deportation. Breitbart.com reported: Thursday at a field hearing in Texas pertaining to the surge of unaccompanied minors at the U.S.-Mexico border, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) balked at the suggestion of Homeland Security Chairman Rep. Mike McCaul (R-TX) that the children filling the border facilities need to be detained and deported by holding up a bag of lollipops to demonstrate her view that compassion not deportation is in order. Referring to the illegal immigrant minors as “homeless children,” Jackson Lee said, “I took lollipops along with

In his new book, Obama’s Enforcer: Eric Holder’s Justice Department (co-written with John Fund), Hans von Spakovsky reveals how our attorney general has turned America’s Department of Justice into “a politicized hotbed of left-wing legal activism.” The author revealed to Human Events the magnitude of Holder’s offenses highlighted in his book, offenses which should be an alarming wake-up call to every American: What do you reveal in your book that people might not know about Eric Holder? People would be shocked at just how much of an ideologue he is. I think they would [also] be surprised at just how far

Higher education is no longer just for kids in the top quarter or the top half of the class. College is for everyone," First lady Michelle Obama told a gathering of school counselors in Florida on Tuesday. "Every student in this country needs some higher education, whether that´s two-year degree, a four-year degree, or professional training of some sort." Mrs. Obama went to the annual meeting of the American School Counselor Association in Florida to thank counselors for taking on a demanding job without the resources necessary to meet the challenges. They, in turn, made her an honorary school counselor.

Recent events have not been kind to Hillary Clinton, but she is far from an innocent victim in what surely is one of the worst revival tours in memory. Hillary Clinton, still unwilling to acknowledge her and her boss’s failure to accurately assess the threats from al-Qaeda and the spread of jihaists into Libya, stubbornly insists we really don’t know why the jihadists attacked and killed our people. Oh, puhleez. While not a supporter of civilian trials for enemy combatants, I must admit there is something satisfying about the prosecution’s version of events laid out for all to see. The United States added a stunning 288,000 jobs last month, sending the unemployment rate down to 6.1 percent and the Dow Jones Industrial Average shooting over 17,000 for the first time. June’s job numbers marked the fifth straight month of job gains over 200,000, the best stretch since the 1990s tech boom. A Bloomberg survey of economists expected an increase of 215,000 jobs in June. The unemployment rate dropped .2 percent to 6.1, the lowest since September 2008. May’s job report was also revised upward, showing 224,000 jobs added. The numbers follow strong reports for the Bay State last month, with

Mississippi sore loser Chris McDaniel and his supporters wouldn´t like me too much. For many years in the state where I was born, I voted in primaries for people I didn´t like, didn´t agree with and had no intention of voting for later -- secure in the thought I was doing my best in a bad situation I had no part in bringing about. Yes, years before Operation Chaos occurred to Rush Limbaugh, I had been voting strategically in New York. Here´s how it all came about.
