Chuck Todd on IRS Scandal:
‘Are There Any Actual Real Victims?’

Newsbusters, by Jeffrey Meyer

Original Article

Posted By:ronbet, 6/25/2014 2:21:04 PM

Chuck Todd, NBC’s Political Director, Chief White House Correspondent, and host of The Daily Rundown on MSNBC did his best to deflect from the IRS scandal by wondering if “there are any actual real victims’ of the IRS targeting of conservative groups.” Appearing on MSNBC´s The Daily Rundown on Wednesday morning, Todd insisted that “the question at hand is whether explicitly political organizations should be filing as tax exempt social welfare groups under the tax code” and suggested that such groups weren’t deserving of such tax exempt status at all.

I know a liberal (he tries to call himself a moderate, but he´s on the liberal side of every issue) who claims that since these organizations were, in his view, not entitled to tax exempt status. Of course, he never explains why it is ok that ONLY conservative organizations who behave this way are denied tax exempt status, while liberal organizations who do the same thing are.

Conservatives cannot be victims. They deserve what happens to them, right?

THIS is the bias that we keep telling the media they have and which they absolutely refuse to acknowledge. They see no value in conservative ideas and have no sympathy for conservatives that suffer from liberals policies. THEY demand freedom of speech but have no problem denying others, especially conservatives, their voice.

Conservatives have gotten here by being reasonable and giving liberals a lot of latitude. It is NOT returned. Liberals are doing whatever they can to block conservative voices and conservative action. Remember this the next time the media whines about bipartisanship. It only goes one way.

The American People were victims ! This was vote manipulation due to denial of money through tax exempt status organizations of conservative bent.
Money = votes..it is how Obama was re-elected, and he USED the auspices of Government organizations (IRS) funded by taxpayers to do it for him.

By trying to stifle dissent, the IRS has potentially shut the mouths of many Americans or caused them to withhold money they may have contributed to organizations with which they agree. You can´t put a number on the fear the IRS has inflicted or attempted to inflict as a Dem political tool.

Chuck Todd should be ashamed of himself.

All Americans are victims of this scandal. This has become a major scandal. The IRS has become a democratic party and criminal organization that cannot be trusted. Multiple felonies, including perjury has been committed.

Yes.
About 320,000,000 were harmed by the IRS felonies. The 2012 vote was rigged. One side was denied the right to speak. That is called censorship. This leaves out the vote rigging, the stuffed ballot boxes, the persons voting multiple times, the 120% of registered voters voting for Zippy, and so on.
We are all victims of the Democrat felonious assumption of power.
Now the vote is rigged again by a flood of illegals who will be given amnesty and vote in 2016. They, of course, have no job skills and thus will further push us into unpayable debt. But it would be so unjust to make them pay their way. Members of the Government do not pay their way, do they?
So yes, Chuckie, we have all been harmed.
Thank you for asking.

Chuck, if the IRS audited you for you contributions to NRDC, would you consider yourself a victim? What if they demanded you pay taxes on every charitable donation you made in the last 10 years (you´re a liberal, but its possible you made some donations). How about if they demanded the drafts of articles you are writing and then passed them under the table to the Fox News Corp? Can you hear the jackboots yet?

We do not know what the status of the entities was. The IRS did not make a finding; it just failed to move on certain requests. By doing that it cut out the entities right go forward or appeal the IRS’s action. It leaned to one side of the feelings of the American people. With the power the IRS has it should never, never lean one way or the other. I believe that there were crimes committed and someone should go to jail.

The White House on Tuesday formally requested $3.7 billion in emergency funding from Congress to deal with an influx of Central American minors along the southern border. But the proposal was quickly met with broad skepticism among Republican lawmakers, who were doubtful that the package would be approved quickly — if at all. Administration officials said the request is part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at building more detention centers, adding immigration judges, and beefing up border patrols and air surveillance. President Obama has said he hopes such steps will both speed deportations and discourage adults from sending children on

Sarah Palin on Tuesday joined a growing chorus of Republicans calling for the impeachment of President Obama, writing in a Breitbart op-ed that the influx of young illegal immigrants over the southern border "is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, ´no mas.´ " Mixed/careless metaphors aside, this is nothing but bad news for Republicans — especially four months until the 2014 election. Palin is hardly the first GOP politician to raise the issue of impeachment over the past couple years. Others include Sens. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) and Tim Scott (R-S.C.), Reps. Blake Farenthold (R-Tex.),

Despite fiery statements issued by Hamas spokesmen over the past 48 hours, it was obvious Tuesday night that the Islamist movement was searching for ways to rid itself of the current escalation. Hamas feels that it has been forced into a confrontation with Israel – one that it did not want at this stage because of its increased isolation and financial crisis. The massive Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours have surprised Hamas and other Palestinian groups. Hamas apparently expected a limited response to the recent rocket attacks on Israeli cities and towns. But as the

Starting next week, House Republicans will launch a highly visible—and likely tumultuous—three-week process of bringing to the floor legislation to authorize their promised lawsuit against President Obama over his use of executive actions. "In theory, you could report out a resolution tomorrow and vote on it," said a House GOP aide on Tuesday. "But that is not the approach [the leaders] want to take." Rather, the aim is to display—if not actually engage in—a more deliberative process, even if amid controversy. This drawn-out script builds toward a potentially dramatic floor vote held just days, or even hours, before the House adjourns on

WASHINGTON — Congressional Democrats said Tuesday that they had developed legislation to override the Supreme Court decision on contraceptives. The bill would ensure that women have access to coverage for birth control even if they work for businesses that have religious objections. The bill, developed in consultation with the Obama administration, would require for-profit corporations like Hobby Lobby Stores to provide and pay for contraceptive coverage, along with other preventive services, under the Affordable Care Act. The measure could be on the Senate floor as early as next week, Senate Democrats said. “Your health care decisions are not your boss’s

Fate hasn´t been kind to Hillary Clinton, at least not in its most recent phase. In 2008, when the plate was set for the national Democrats, she lost the nomination to Barack Obama, of scant years and no gravitas, who soared out of nowhere to wrench destiny from her on the unspecified promise of "change." Now, "change" has come, and people don´t like it. Iraq changed from a safe, stable ally (just ask Obama) to a terrorist haven, one of the reasons why, though no fellow Democrats seem likely to edge her, her chances of winning the White House seem dim. So just who is in charge in Barack Obama´s White House? ABC´s Jonathan Karl on Tuesday asked White House press secretary why the letter from the White House to Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) inviting him to a meeting with President Obama regarding the Texas border crisis was from Valerie Jarrett. While it´s routine for staff to draft such letters for elected officials, matters of such magnitude and to other elected officials of stature are almost always in the name of the principle. The president´s spokesman, when asked why the letter was from Jarrett rather than the President, said "Valerie spends a

Despite Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson vowing to "stem the tide" of unaccompanied illegal minors across the southern border with Mexico, thousands more are expected to enter the United States by the end of the year. With the system being overwhelmed, Border Patrol agents are concerned about minors who have admitted to being MS-13 members, a brutal street gang from El Salvador that has been successful in infiltrating American communities. Agents are also concerned about minors who have committed acts like torture and murder in their home countries before heading north to the United States. "We have six minors in Nogales

Screenwriter James Vanderbilt will make his directorial debut with the film, which will also star Cate Blanchett. Robert Redford has signed on to play Dan Rather in Truth, a film based on the 2005 memoir Truth and Duty: The Press, the President, and the Privilege of Power. The book, written by Rather´s producer Mary Mapes, centers on the firestorm that erupted in September of 2004 after Rather reported that George W. Bush had received special treatment while serving in the Air National Guard during the Vietnam War, a report that was based on documents that turned out to be forgeries.

Kirsten Powers snapped at Bill O’Reilly tonight after he told her she doesn’t know what she’s talking about on immigration, and told O’Reilly she’s tired of him mocking liberals every day on every single issue just because “they care about people.” Powers argued that O’Reilly’s getting his facts wrong and that immigrants coming to the U.S. back in the day (like the Irish) were poor and uneducated, much like the immigrants O’Reilly is so worried about today. O’Reilly dismissed Powers and told her, “You don’t seem to really know what you’re talking about.” That really set Powers off. “I am

President Barack Obama does not believe his temporary amnesty program for illegal immigrant children has exacerbated the border crisis even though the number of illegal immigrant kids crossing the border spiked the year after he unilaterally enacted the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in 2012. In fact, Obama thinks programs like DACA and a comprehensive amnesty bill are ways to solve the border crisis. Addressing the press Wednesday after meeting with Texas Governor Rick Perry to discuss the border crisis in Dallas, Obama, when asked if programs like DACA have caused or contributed to the crisis,
