Palin: ‘If Republicans Are Gonna Act

Mediaite, by Josh Feldman

Sarah Palin joined Sean Hannity to weigh in on the latest election news, and Palin told Hannity that it would be hard for her to stay with the Republicans and get excited about them if they continue acting like Democrats and rolling over. She took a shot at the “status quo” politics of people like Senator Thad Cochran and said the Eric Cantor upset shows people want strong constitutionalists in power who don’t represent “the man [or] the establishment” in Washington. Hannity asked Palin if she would actually follow through on her previous hints she’d go third party. Palin replied, “If Republicans

Where was she over the weekend, on Monday, today. I saw some of the people who campaigned for McDaniels. Garbage. Is Santorum supposed to drive turnout. If she wants to whine she has to ante up first. She loves to do the endorsements and appearances when all is safe. Get down and dirty for a change Sarah in the final hours. You can drive turnout better than anyone. Where were you today? Where was Ted Cruz. The establishment went whole hog. They pulled out all the stops. Conservatives dialed it in.

Is Sarah finally ready to take the step to support a new party?

I sure hope so. Maybe Thursday evening at the Severville TN Convention Center. Now, that would be a step to restore the Republic.

Just a minor difference: the new party would be a second party to replace the GOP. It can happen if a number of conservative leaders and current office holders jump ship all at once. That is what the Perot effort lacked.

If the Cochran win in MS and the Lankford win in OK hold, then the move toward a new party makes more sense. The GOP Elites simply have too much control over and ability to corrupt the primary process. The Cantor upset will be seen as an anomaly. The general elections, where Democrats will likely not cross over, would be another matter.

Its time to return the favor.

Lets join forces come November, with the Democrats in McConnell´s senate race and the Democrats in Boehner´s district and vote them both out.

We cannot let this pass without retaliation.

It´s obvious that the RINO establishment is so weak they barely beat a TEA Party conservative even with the help of the Democrat Party and the liberal news media.

The corrupt RINOs hoisted themselves on their own petards. It will be interesting to see what Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, Col. West and other high profile conservatives do at this point.

One of our most sacred and fundamental rights, the right to vote secretly in any election and have that vote count, has been so corrupted, it has begun to be meaningless. I don´t see how a third party surmounts this obstacle of cheating, crossovers and recounts til one who´s counting wins. It is discouraging, but I will not give up my place in the line of voters.

Let´s face the sad reality - there are only two parties at present:

The Socialist Democrat Party That Won´t Stop Until The US Constitution Is Replaced By Socialism.

The Party Whose Main Mission Is To Affirm The "Good Intentions" Of The Socialist Democrats.

Lincoln was the first president from a fresh, bold new party. It can happen again, and has.

# 1 - if one doesn´t have any idea of what Gov. Palin was doing over the weekend then perhaps it might behoove one to find out instead of always making derogatory remarks about her.

Is it jealousy that drives one to constantly berate her? ´Tis a shame SHE has been so successful in her life and others aren´t.
Built her own path from school Board member to Governor of Alaska, had success with her books--first one stayed on the NYTs Best Seller List 6 or 7 weeks; other two have been successful as well. Oh yes, she was the first Female in the Republican party to be selected as a V-P running mate and pulled the lousy head of the ticket out of a deep hole and had he and his "Oh So Brilliant Consultants" not suspended his campaign so he could fly back to DC because he thought he was SO important and perform he perfected temper tantrum, the WH could have been his home. Gov. Palin did both, increased his money coffers from those supporting HER and raised the team above the idiots who took over the WH. Yes, he screwed that up as she garnered support for the team and had him ahead in the polls.

Is it possible for McDaniel to run a write-in campaign? I mean, Cochran´s probably going to lose because his pet Dems from the primary aren´t going to vote for him in the general and I can´t see McDaniel voters going for him either after everything that´s happened. The will of the voters was stolen in this primary so it´s not like a write-in campaign would be a dirty trick spoiler, it´d be giving the people the chance to vote for the candidate they clearly intended to make it to the ballot.

Also, all voters currently registered as Republicans need to change their registration. Leave the party totally and register as independents or Democrats. Yes, ´rats. Then vote your conscience in the main event. Just don´t let the Pubs take you for granted anymore. What they did in the MS race was beyond the pale and they absolutely should NOT get away with it.

Third party would be nice, but I don´t see much chance in it working. Too many egos wanting to run things and too many dirty tricks from the party machines.

Sometimes it is necessary to hold hands with the devil to get to the other side of the bridge. If the goal is to have a real alternative to the totalitarian socialist Democrat party, then the GOP must be replaced. It will never be reformed. Thus it may be necessary in the short term to vote against the GOP in order to kill it off so that in the long run it can be replaced by a party that truly supports lower taxes, less spending, less borrowing, and a severely limited federal government.

It is really sad that the Republicans and Tea Party can´t get their act together. I´m to the point that I´m not sure I want to be associated with either one. Not to worry, I´m not voting for the Democrats.

Remember when George W Bush said he was a compassionate conservative? I do understand what he was talking about. I think that is what the Republicans are all about. Here comes the Tea Party and they are saying "wait a minute" and want reforms.

I don´t understand why the Republicans and Tea Party can´t work together? It would be for the greater cause.

I have been a supporter of Sarah Palin but I do agree with #1. She needed to be there. You can´t just talk the talk, we need to walk the talk.

We need to get the Tea Party and the Republicans energized not fractured. There are some very good Republicans and Tea Party people.

What transpired in the Mississippi Senate run-off is a red line for many conservatives across the country, because the Republican Party establishment essentially took a civil war and escalated it to a war for independence. It’s one thing to oppose your base in a primary. It’s entirely another to despicably play the race card against your base, and bolster the legitimacy of the propaganda of our race-baiting opponents on the Left. But that’s exactly what the Kamikaze pilots running the GOP did. As a result, Chris McDaniel won Republican voters handily on Tuesday, but still lost the run-off statewide thanks to

Mississippi state Sen. Chris McDaniel is projecting confidence about his campaign´s review of ballots cast in a runoff election he narrowly lost to incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran Tuesday ahead of a planned legal challenge to the election results. The campaign is focusing on any ballots cast by individuals who voted in the Democratic primary on June 3, who under Mississippi´s election rules, were not allowed to vote in the Republican primary runoff three weeks later. McDaniel claimed in an interview on Fox News late Thursday that his campaign had identified over 1,000 such votes in Hinds County, which includes a large African
