Newark, NJ - Already embroiled in a criminal probe over lane closures at the George Washington Bridge, Gov. Chris Christie´s administration is facing an investigation over a second bridge. The Manhattan district attorney´s office and the Securities and Exchange Commission are investigating whether $1.8 billion in funding to repair the Pulaski Skyway and related projects was misrepresented in bond documents by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, a person familiar with the investigation but not authorized to discuss it publicly told The Associated Press. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity.

What a waste of government resources.
To think the Democrat machine is wasting so much money unethically harassing this big mope when the dude hadn´t a chance in hell of threatening them on the national level in 2016. The democRAT apparatchiks are slipping.

Wow. Another closed bridge repair scandal.

Ol´ Fat Christie is getting in trouble for fixing bridges?

That´s really bad. Worse than using the IRS to sic on your political enemies or letting US diplomats be target practice for Islamic rebels.

Dear GOP:

1. A "criminal probe" and wall-to-wall media hate directed at bringing down Christie, for basically nothing.
2. Dear Leader Barack Hussein getting away with more than the Corleones ever did.

Though there is admittedly no chance of employing media hate, the only reason there has been no criminal probe into Dear Leader Barack Hussein´s web of corruption is because you, the GOP, refuse to do it. That´s a scandal in itself.

Port Authority is not the State of NJ. But if they are going after the PA, NY Gov Andrew Cuomo will be equally culpable. but oh NO, Cuomo is a Dem rising star.

Germany poured in the goals Tuesday to hand Brazil its heaviest World Cup loss ever, an astounding 7-1 rout in the semifinals that stunned the host nation. Miroslav Klose scored a record-setting 16th career World Cup goal in a five-goal spurt in the first half as Brazil’s defense was torn apart. The Germans reached their eighth final and will face either Argentina or the Netherlands on Sunday at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

Whenever the subject of politics and religion comes up, some individuals wish to believe that the two are not connected. Yet, many people are concerned with the speed of America’s moral collapse. Throughout both the bible and world history, the two have collided (wars were fought over religion). When the Kings and Judges in the bible were godly, the people and the land flourished. On the other hand, the evil kings and judges brought famine and destruction upon the people and the land (does any of this sound familiar?) Our founding fathers were men of deep religious convictions based in

A legal battle over the fate of Common Core, the national education standards developed by a coalition of governors and educators and adopted by the vast majority of states, may be brewing in Louisiana. The state’s top education board voted on Tuesday to retain legal counsel, a sign it is gearing up for a lawsuit against Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal after he issued a series of executive orders in an attempt to withdraw the state from the Common Core.

Dr. Ben Carson once made the observation that “political correctness” acts as a “muzzle” to quell legitimate dissent against the status quo. That is undoubtedly a true statement. But to drive in the stakes and build our intellectual ramparts on this point is little more than ceding coveted ground in an argument against a completely unfounded doctrine that presents falsehoods as facts. There is a more fundamental observation upon which we can mount our legitimate defense against the doctrine of “political correctness,” and it lies in the simplest inspection of the phrase “politically correct.” Inherent in those two words’ juxtaposition is

By its own admission, the Arab world loves death more than it loves life. Consider that "during all periods of their history, the ancient Egyptians seem to have spent much of their time thinking of death and making provisions for their afterlife. The vast size ... and the ubiquity of their funerary monuments bear testimony to this obsession." Consider that the Palestinian world teaches its children to embrace shahid, or martyrdom. It is an aberrant culture where parents celebrate their own children´s deaths by the promotion of suicide terrorism.

Seems the prospect of smokin’ out a snake like Bill Ayers was too good to pass up. Getting an exclusive one-on-one with a crazy, violent communist with a small c was quite a coup for Kelly and D’Souza...or was it? Since lying and deceit generally benefit the liar, we have to ask, ”What was in it for Bill Ayers?” A mea culpa for past crimes? Hardly. It´s a story that´s been told before. After a failed bid for the White House, the long-serving senator returned to Capitol Hill. As the years wore on, he sparred with the president, used his name recognition to push his pet causes and became a power broker able to step in when party leadership failed. In many ways, Sen. John McCain has followed the path laid out by Sen. Ted Kennedy after his unsuccessful attempt to wrest the Democratic nomination from Jimmy Carter in 1980. The White House on Tuesday formally requested $3.7 billion in emergency funding from Congress to deal with an influx of Central American minors along the southern border. But the proposal was quickly met with broad skepticism among Republican lawmakers, who were doubtful that the package would be approved quickly — if at all. Administration officials said the request is part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at building more detention centers, adding immigration judges, and beefing up border patrols and air surveillance. President Obama has said he hopes such steps will both speed deportations and discourage adults from sending children on

Starting next week, House Republicans will launch a highly visible—and likely tumultuous—three-week process of bringing to the floor legislation to authorize their promised lawsuit against President Obama over his use of executive actions. "In theory, you could report out a resolution tomorrow and vote on it," said a House GOP aide on Tuesday. "But that is not the approach [the leaders] want to take." Rather, the aim is to display—if not actually engage in—a more deliberative process, even if amid controversy. This drawn-out script builds toward a potentially dramatic floor vote held just days, or even hours, before the House adjourns on

Fate hasn´t been kind to Hillary Clinton, at least not in its most recent phase. In 2008, when the plate was set for the national Democrats, she lost the nomination to Barack Obama, of scant years and no gravitas, who soared out of nowhere to wrench destiny from her on the unspecified promise of "change." Now, "change" has come, and people don´t like it. Iraq changed from a safe, stable ally (just ask Obama) to a terrorist haven, one of the reasons why, though no fellow Democrats seem likely to edge her, her chances of winning the White House seem dim.
