Krauthammer: ‘Obama Is a
President Choosing Decline’

Fox News, by Staff

Original Article

Bill O’Reilly asked Charles Krauthammer: How bad are things in America? Krauthammer said that things are pretty bad, but noted, “There’s a big difference between decline as a condition and decline as a choice. What we have with Obama is a president choosing decline.” He continued, “We are in a position to dominate again, but we have a president who doesn’t believe in American exceptionalism, American greatness, and he has chosen for America to retreat from the Middle East, to not lift a finger in places like Ukraine, basically to make us one nation among others.” Krauthammer said Obama is comfortable with

The real shocker in the interview is when O´Reilly says he is doing segment tonight that the "right wing" talk radio may have been right from the very beginning that this is how Obama would behave. It starts at approx. 1.51. I would also add, Krauthammer himself said he thought Obama would govern from the ´center." Those two had access to all that we here read and still couldn´t bring themselves to say Obama is an extreme radical leftist.

Why would anyone expect him to know what the word "exceptional" means? He has always been in the center of the pack, if that!

Its taken more than 6 years, but someone from mainstream has accurately captured and succinctly expressed Obama´s willingness to trade America´s world leadership position to transform into just another of European style socialist democracies. Both O´Reilly and Krauthammer admit they had thought Rush Limbaugh was wrong and that Obama would govern from the center.

In addition, people like Larry Kudlow are finally seeing the light after 6+ years of Zippy being on the world stage. I can´t recall the number of times I would shout at the TV or radio and wonder what was wrong with these brilliant talk/news show pundits that they couldn´t see the obvious.

Obama campaigned on ´sustainability´ and ´taking America down a notch´. It´s why he was elected. He is doing exactly what he promised to do.

We even have a ´sustainable´ economy.

Six years ago Krauthammer, of all people, was in a position to see it. Instead, he let his liberal sympathies cloud his psychiatric judgment, offering (as OP mentions) the ludicrous assurance that Zero would “govern from the center” – while nearly everyone here was jumping up and down and shouting and pointing at the monster aborning.

Sorry, Charles. You’re 70 months late and $7 trillion short.

Why didn´t Obama see this coming?...

The better question is: Why didn´t O´Reilly see Obama coming??

During the financial meltdown of 2008 O´Reilly apologized to his viewers for not seeing the financial collapse coming. He promised to remain vigilant in watching for future dangers to our citizens.

Soon thereafter Obama arrives on scene and clearly states his disdain for America and his intention to self-belittle our Nation. Yet, inexplicably, O´Reilly believes Obama will govern from the center.

Six years later O´Reilly finally gets a clue!

I don´t trust O´Reilly to serve as sentinel for us!!

Americans have chosen decline...47% take a government check, college graduates whine they´re buried under student debt, can´t find a job, live in the basement and get insurance coverage until 26 years old. Their parents whine things are "too tough" thus enabling this timidity. The entire government seems to have gone rogue. "What difference does it make?" Strikes me as decline.

Many on the Left didn’t want any exemptions to the contraceptive mandate, even for purely sectarian groups. Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, among others, considered that narrow exemption “itself a compromise.” The secularist central planners of Obamacare wanted total participation by all employers. They just couldn’t get away with it politically. So, naturally, they treat any objections from the religious to supposedly generous modifications of the mandate with the greatest impatience. That impatience was on display in Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s dissent from the Supreme Court’s recent granting of a temporary reprieve to Wheaton College as its challenge to mandate-related regulations continues. President Obama visited Denver this week, was offered marijuana, and laughed. His administration made possible the open marketing and use of marijuana in Colorado and Washington state by directing that federal law not be enforced. The president is joined by Hillary Clinton and Rand Paul in supporting marijuana legalization. As Clinton recently told CNN, "On recreational marijuana, states are the laboratories of democracy. President Barack Obama coolly taunted congressional Republicans on Wednesday for dithering on his demand for billions to handle a flood of illegal immigration children streaming across the U.S.-Mexico border. At the same time he flatly denied that his own policy decisions have led to the rapidly expanding human tragedy. Calling the deluge a ´humanitarian situation on the border,´ not an emergency or crisis, he parried claims that a 2012 executive order delaying the deportation of hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants – those who had arrived in the U.S. as children before the summer of 2007 – incentivized children in Central

Fate hasn´t been kind to Hillary Clinton, at least not in its most recent phase. In 2008, when the plate was set for the national Democrats, she lost the nomination to Barack Obama, of scant years and no gravitas, who soared out of nowhere to wrench destiny from her on the unspecified promise of "change." Now, "change" has come, and people don´t like it.
