Facing Primary Challenger, Lamar
Alexander Digs In On Amensty

Brietbart´s Big Government, by Charlie Spiering

Original Article

Posted By:mikkins2, 6/23/2014 4:32:22 PM

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) is boldly defending his vote for the Senate "Gang Of Eight" immigration bill as he campaigns for re-election in Tennessee, after his Tea Party-backed primary challenger Joe Carr has made the issue a central point in his campaign. In an emailed statement to Breitbart News, Alexander issued a strong defense of his support for immigration reform - first published in the Knoxville News Sentinel. "We have amnesty today,” Alexander said. "Turning your head while 11 million people are already here illegally is perpetual amnesty. I voted along with 67 other United States senators to end perpetual amnesty.”

Comments:
Expose the Republican Establishment for the frauds they are.

Got Carr?

This is so frustrating. They never sealed the border, never sanctioned businesses which hire illegals and now we are watching a tsunami sized invasion of the disease-ridden and uneducated who they plan to foist on our towns - for keeps - and we will witness the spread TB and crime and more that we can´t even imagine. Our infrastructure will be swamped if they don´t stop coming in and they´re not stopping. These illegals hold more cards than Amercan citizens because they have advocates and we don´t. Lamar Alexander is like to rest of those we need to get rid of: all talk, no sense of urgency and things keep getting far worse because of elitist politicians him. How can he, in good conscience, even ask to be reelected? Has he no idea that man of us believe he and his ilk have ruined the country and we little people are about to pay dearly?

If the so-called gang of 8 liberal Democrat designed amnesty bill passes that this Alexander supports, he and other Republicans who facilitated it will have handed the Democrats tens of millions of new foreign born voters in the years ahead all in the name of an unlimited supply of cheap foreign labor for their business oriented constituents. Once that happens the Republicans will never again have the votes they need to win future presidential elections and the liberal Democrats will have a permanent political lock on the big cities. Mass uncontrolled illegal immigration will continue. Any Republican politicians who can´t figure that out are political morons.

Yes, the primary is August 7th. We must vote Joe Carr, not George Flinn (http:tinyurl.com/DrGeorgeFlinn).

Looking forward to the big rally this Thursday night at Sevierville Conference Center (http://seviercoteaparty.org/?p=389) and (http://tinyurl.com/AmericasLastStand). A good list of headliners including Sarah Palin, Allen West, Rick Santorum, Jeanne Pirro, and musicians Jon Secada and John Michael Montgomery.

Time to get serious about Joe Carr.

As to Senator unCorked - we must wait until 2018 to deal with him.

to the friends I left behind in east Tennessee: I know that the Mexican border is a long way from you. Do me a favor. Go up to northern Knox country, up in the Mascot area, some morning around some of the industrial sites. Look at all the illegals working up there, crowding the roads, some walking. I took on some short term engineering projects for two companies in that area. Virtually the entire 2nd shifts, and most of the 3rd shift, were staffed by illegal aliens. Quite openly. While at the same time I knew people in Anderson, Knox, Loudon, Blount, and Sevier counties, who were unemployed, good workers, and could not even be considered for the positions.

Fending off persistent questions about his residency status, Sen. I was making an argument in that column against majoritarianism (and that is a critical issue, as explained in this video), but there’s also a very mportant moral component to this debate. In 1776 Americans declared themselves independent of more than arbitrary rule by a distant monarch. They also severed the ties of aristocracy. This was in itself a revolutionary notion. It meant that political power, its attendant privilege and economic advantages would no longer be transferred by the blood. Earldoms, dukedoms, and kingdoms were banished from the territory and from the future of the American people. The citizen became the self-identifying unit of self-rule. The generation of English colonists who gathered together in the summer of 1776 to declare their independence from the English crown knew that they had exhausted all other remedies.
