The Left Reboots for Total War
Breitbart Big Government, by Mike Flynn

Original Article

Posted By:ScarletPimpernel, 6/23/2014 8:18:57 AM

Conservatives can be forgiven for believing the political winds are at their back. Obama is flirting with historically low approval ratings as much of the public simply tunes him out. Democrat-backed policies have failed to lift the economy and public anxiety about the limits of government activism grows. Conservative challengers will do well enough this primary season to argue that the "tea party" is alive and well. Behind the scenes, though, the left is retooling and the conservative movement seems unequal to the challenge.

Comments:
I know there is lots going on in the world, but this is a must read, even if it isn´t at the top of the page today, though it should be. I hope LDotter´s actually read and digest the whole piece (especially the last 4 paragraphs), as well as the linked article from The Nation.

Agreed, OP, this is a must read. The DEMs don´t have a better message, but they have a far better machine. The GOP is fractured and self protective to the point of alienating their core and any group (like the Tea Party) they can´t control.

This is right, the liberal Democrats are posed to win future presidential elections by way of their most important constituency groups that don´t have a clue about the situations in regions like Afghanistan or Iraq, but can tell you everything there is to know about applying for an Obama phone, food stamps, and all other forms of free health care and social welfare.

Leftists feed on the uneducated, uninspired, and ambitionless. Not to help them, but, because they are easily led and manipulated, to use them for political power.

This is how Howard Dean rebuilt the party, start at the lowest levels and work up. Our free market is corrupt. The public knows it. The occupy movement whether they realize it or not rose out of frustration with that fact. The left´s solutions are more of the same. But if voters think they care, oh how sweet, too many will vote for them. Conservatives have to make the case for the free market, an end to the crony capitalism, an end to pandering to K street in DC. One good thing came out this weekend. Kevin McCarthy stated he would no longer support re-authorization of the import-export bank. It´s a small step, but it´s a step in the right direction.

I expected better from Mike Flynn.

The basic premise of his article is that:

´The Sky is Falling´ because the progressives are smart and conservatives are stupid.

NO!

The problem is that LoFos are stupid and RINOs are also stupid!

It is also a rather thin depiction of today´s political reality.

Today´s reality is that RINOs are inhibiting conservatives and by default enabling Obama and the other Commie/Fascist Democraps!

And, the author incorrectly uses the term ´conservatives´ when he should use ´Self-Perpetuating RINO Establishment Place Holders´ to describe ´Those Who Are Not Donkeys´.

Conservatives are not ignoring Tea Party voters. RINOs are ignoring Conservatives!

I do agree with his references to the progressive´s focus on exploiting the ´LoFo´s´ base emotional issues but would have preferred that he labeled their efforts for what they are instead of using it to describe how stupid Re-PUBICs are.

Today´s progressive´s focus is the same as it always has been which is the same focus of Lenin, Hitler, Mussolini, ToJo, Idi Amin, etc!

Tell the LoFos you´ll erect Stop Signs to protect their MTV/Face Book Retarded Children then recruit them to fight for the cause.

In practice, RINO leadership has their heads so far up their arses that they can see light and smell fresh air from time to time, not that it does them any good.

Vote for Christi, Bush, Cochran, Paul, Rubio or the like and watch this country flush itself down the toilet!

What we conservatives and America needs is more people like Lee, Cruz, Palin, Mark Levin and our beloved Ronnie!

The Conservative Political Base is there. We simply need a truly conservative leaded who speaks in ´Bold Colors´ who can articulate the need to oust the Commie/Fascist Barstards from Congress and the WH!

Kafir

PS: RINOs SUCK! But Not Very Good

Just look at Dole, McCain, Romney, The Bonner, McConnell, Cantor, McCarthy, Cochran, etc.

Sorry to be crude, but for all intents and purposes, America is currently the victim of a national rape, figuratively speaking – what our nation is experiencing on the southern border is a corporate violation. Moreover, being implanted in the womb of what was once a sovereign nation complete with boundaries and laws is an uninvited presence that, if it were a fetus, pro-choicers would heartily applaud terminating. Instead, liberal pundits and politicians alike contend that America should never turn children in need away.

It is likely that many people will die young because Bowe Bergdahl chose to act out a childish, grandiose fantasy in which he cast himself as a wise and courageous man of mystery and adventure. Both his parents and the American taxpayer supported Mr. Bergdahl to play pretend soldier with a script that reads like a cheesy story for eleven-year-old boys. In Bergdahl’s feverish imagination, which he was tragically allowed to enact, he was a magnificently skilled survivalist who also solved the problem of war in his environmentally and socially sensitive walk about the new world order.

The House of Representatives of the United States will very likely swear in this fall a former Randolph-Macon College (R-MC) economics professor, Dr. David Alan Brat -- or Dave Brat, as he prefers to be called. In a stunning upset whose shock waves have yet to be fully felt or understood, Brat handily defeated House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. Evidently taken aback by this unexpected and unprecedented outcome, Cantor failed to include the obvious in his concession speech: “I congratulate my opponent and promise to work to elect him in the fall.”

After breaking into an elderly widow’s house twice in a row, two teenagers were killed by an armed occupant, in self-defense. Steven Crider, 17, and Michael Sambrano, 14, were shot in the chest numerous times after breaking in to the widow’s home. Now, the dead thieves’ friends and family are publicly complaining that “it was wrong that they were shot” and that the thieves were just “tryin’ to eat.” Everyone needs to eat, but how many people actually need to steal in order to eat? The number must be extremely small.

From Fast and Furious to Benghazi, and from the IRS to the VA, the national media has assiduously covered President Obama’s tracks from start to finish, and is no doubt preparing to do the same for possible presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. On April 29, Judicial Watch announced that it had obtained the “smoking gun” e-mail on April 18, 2014 – days before Obama announced that Neil Eggleston would replace Kathryn Ruemmler as White House counsel to the president. Politico reported on the switch and made mention of Eggleston’s role in the Whitewater investigation during Clinton’s first term, as well as his ties to Obama’s former White House chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel.

Who is Harrison J. Bounel, and might the name suggest something about possible Obama ID fraud? To be sure, healthcare.gov’s failure to verify Obama’s identity implies nothing whatsoever as to whether ordinary citizens should question it. Undoubtedly, the system glitch represents nothing more, and nothing less, than yet another instance of racist computers conspiring against Obama. The Harrison J. Bounel controversy revolves in part around the fact -- contested by no one -- that a personal information database, housed in yet another presumptively racist computer, linked Obama’s Hyde Park Chicago home address and SSN with the name “Harrison J. Within the context of keeping the Syrian jihad alive, it seems there is no end to the attempts of some Islamic clerics to legitimize otherwise forbidden behavior in order to gratify the sexual urges of the jihadis and keep them fighting Syrian president Bashar Assad. First, there was the now infamous “sex-jihad” fatwa, which holds that any Muslim woman who willingly allows her body to be used by the sexually-deprived jihadis becomes herself a jihadi, if not a “martyr,” deserving of all the honor and rewards associated with those titles.

Ezekiel Emanuel has written extensively, before and after he helped draft ObamaCare, about who should get medical care, who should decide, and whose life is worth saving. Emanuel is part of a school of thought that redefines a physician’s duty, insisting that it includes working for the greater good of society instead of focusing only on a patient’s needs. Many physicians find that view dangerous, and most Americans are likely to agree.

It is a tender, natural and intimate portrait which shows, for the first time, something of the personality of young Prince George. Released on his first Mothering Sunday, this official portrait – in a relaxed style perfectly reflecting the Duke and Duchess’s very modern approach to Royalty – depicts the eight-month-old as a curious, affectionate toddler, gazing into the eyes of the family’s beloved Lupo. George seems devoted to the cocker spaniel and, judging by the adoration on Lupo’s face, the sentiments are returned.

There are times that I have senior moments and forget certain names and events but after the recent Obama Iraq war implosion, I´m convinced most political pundits are suffering from them as well. What is unusual is that this revision of history is being committed by conservatives who should know better. Recent commentary by Glenn Beck, George Will and Charles Krauthammer indicate that they have significant memory lapses about why we went to war in Iraq. They now suggest that it was a wrong decision whereas my complaint is that we took too long to invade and oust Saddam Hussein.

Noted management expert and Internal Revenue Service Commissioner John Koskinen was apparently called out of retirement — like the Ted Williams of evasive, unapologetic bureaucrats — to destroy what is left of his agency’s credibility. At immediate issue is two years of subpoenaed e-mails from former IRS official Lois Lerner to outside agencies, lost in a convenient computer crash. The possible involvement of other agencies is one focus of a congressional investigation into the heightened IRS scrutiny of conservative nonprofit groups before the 2012 election. In recent congressional testimony, Koskinen admitted that the e-mails

US Secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in Iraq´s capital, Baghdad as Sunni insurgents expand their control of towns across north-western Iraq. In Egypt on Sunday, Mr Kerry warned that Sunni militants Isis´ "ideology of violence and repression is a threat not only to Iraq but to the entire region". On Sunday rebels--spearheaded by Isis militants--captured border crossings to Syria and Jordan. The strategically important airport in the northern Tal Afar has also fallen. The town controls the main road from the Syrian border to Mosul, Iraq´s second biggest city, which was captured by the rebels two weeks ago.
