Transgender priest gives sermon
at Washington National Cathedral

Washington Times, by Meredith Somers

The first openly transgender priest to preach at the Washington National Cathedral urged the gay community Sunday to be brave and open-minded as it works to eliminate oppression. The Rev. Cameron Partridge told the audience at the landmark Episcopal church that people need to be unashamed of who they are and embrace “the blessing of collaborating visions.” (Snip) He completed his transition to male in 2001, according to Boston University. His sermon came at the conclusion of two weeks of LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning) advocacy for the cathedral. The idea of revelation was at the heart of Mr. Partridge’s sermon,

Well, I guess 0bama decided to sleep in and skip this event he helped create. Wait till one of his daughters runs into this new White House sanctioned hot "male" and they share "collaborating visions.” You just know their curiosity will peak.

2 Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

On a par with the desecration of Notre Dame in Paris during the French Revolution with the placement of scantily clad young woman on the main altar of that cathedral where she was worshipped as the goddess of reason. All in the name of human progress: but of course.

Washington - The Supreme Court has rejected a challenge to California’s law that bars mental counseling aimed at turning gay minors straight. The justices on Monday let stand an appeals court ruling that said the state’s ban on so-called conversion therapy for minors doesn’t violate the free speech rights of licensed counselors and patients seeking treatment. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled last year that California lawmakers properly showed that efforts to change sexual orientation were outside the scientific mainstream and have been rejected for good reason. Liberty Counsel, a Christian legal aid group, had challenged the law along with

Sanford, FL - A judge on Monday ruled against George Zimmerman in a defamation lawsuit he filed against NBC Universal over edited 911 calls made after Trayvon Martin was shot and killed in 2012. In the ruling, Judge Debra S. Nelson said, "There are no genuine issues of material fact upon which a reasonable jury could find that the Defendants acted with actual malice." In a hearing earlier this month, Zimmerman´s attorney said NBC manipulated the call to make it seem like Zimmerman was chasing Trayvon Martin because of the color of Martin´s skin. Zimmerman: "This guy looks like he's up to no good or he's on drugs or something.

Los Angeles - ABC executives are in the process of bringing Rosie O’Donnell back to co-host “The View,” a well-placed insider tells FOX411. It would be the second time around on the show for the controversial comedian, who left in 2007 after just one season. “The network executives really wanted Rosie back,” the insider said. “They’re confident she has what it takes to add some controversy and drive the ratings up. It is a smart fit.” After O’Donnell’s first time in the hot seat, ABC said in a statement that it was unable to agree on a contract to bring her back for a second season. House Speaker John A. Boehner’s call to sue President Obama for overstepping the bounds of executive authority marks a stunning break for Republicans, who for years have tried to keep the courts out of the big questions of the day. Just a decade after House Republicans tried to strip the courts of their ability to hear key cases on such matters as the Pledge of Allegiance, the GOP is now pleading with federal judges to get more involved — chiefly to rein in Mr. Obama. “The courts have absented themselves from major disputes about the meaning of Article I and Article II of the Constitution, this dispute with regard to the power of the

The protest, organized by the Service Employees International Union, was one of dozens held around the country Friday to mark the one-year anniversary of the Senate passing a sweeping immigration bill, which would pave the way for 11 million illegal immigrants to stay in the country. But House Republicans have refused to take up similar legislation, angering many immigration activists. In Washington, immigration activists

In 1974, as America was losing Vietnam and descending into economic chaos, Richard Milhous Nixon did one great thing — he resigned rather than subject the nation to the living nightmare of the impeachment pending in the House of Representatives, followed by a trial in the Senate. For Iran, Benghazi and the ongoing, raging conflicts that Team Obama peremptorily sparked across the Middle East; for the targeting of political opponents using federal government resources; and for enriching undeserving cronies using taxpayer dollars, President Barack Hussein Obama and his enablers should go quietly into the night and soon.

Striking new images released by NASA this week show significant reductions in air pollution levels across the United States. In particular, at least one pollutant, nitrogen dioxide, has decreased substantially over the past decade. After ten years in orbit, the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) on NASA’s Aura satellite showed that the decrease is particularly prominent in the Northeast, the Ohio River Valley, and other major cities. For example, NASA reported a 32% decrease in New York City and a 42% decrease in Atlanta between the periods of 2005-2007 and 2009-2011. Facebook’s News Feed—the main list of status updates, messages, and photos you see when you open Facebook on your computer or phone—is not a perfect mirror of the world. But few users expect that Facebook would change their News Feed in order to manipulate their emotional state. We now know that’s exactly what happened two years ago. For one week in January 2012, data scientists skewed what almost 700,000 Facebook users saw when they logged into its service. Some people were shown content with a preponderance of happy and positive words; some were shown content analyzed as sadder than average.

And the pipeline would bring oil from Canada and North Dakota to refineries in the United States. But Obama rejected the plan in 2011 and 2014. Democrats are beholden to the radical green movement – the poor and middle class be damned. Now this… Canada pulled the plug on Keystone and will

Hillary Clinton is just too unlikable (remember that Barack Obama called her “likable enough” in one of the most memorable back handed compliments of recent political memory), and too transparently greedy, self-serving, and out of touch.
