Good place to send the Guatemalan gang- bangers. Should take a chunk out of Obummer´s army of last resort.

What I fail to understand about Chicago is how in the world these killings happen in the first place. The city has the strictest gun control laws in the country. I am confused.

This would be funny if it weren´t so tragic. Only 4 killed so far this weekend -- that´s below par for the Windy City.

Respectfully dissent, Poster #3. While the gross number of shootings is down, a much better killed/wounded ratio than usual. I would say the Homies are becoming much more proficient in their gunhandling of late.

On Dec. 31, 2005, the C.I.A.’s acting general counsel, John A. Rizzo, received an urgent phone call from the White House about a chapter in James Risen’s coming book, “State of War,” detailing a botched C.I.A. operation in Iran. The administration wanted Mr. Rizzo to contact Sumner Redstone — the chairman of Viacom, owner of the book’s publisher, Simon & Schuster — and ask him to keep the book off the market. Mr. Rizzo never made the call. It was too late. Copies of “State of War” had already reached bookstores. The Bush administration soon identified the man it believed

Mark Mayfield´s death is tragic in and of itself, but it also provides a sobering, painful and chilling reminder that the race for U.S. Senate from Mississippi went far off the rails. I talked with Pat Bruce, president of the Madison County Conservative Coalition, minutes after the news broke. She answered the phone between sobs, understandably in shock. As we talked, she oscillated between hurt and anger and disbelief. Then there were moments of lucidity, when none of it — the entire race, much less Mayfield´s death — amounted to anything approaching the seriousness that led to today´s tragic news.

WASHINGTON — The U.S. has armed drones flying over Baghdad to protect U.S. troops that recently arrived to assess Iraq’s deteriorating security, the Pentagon said Friday. The military for more than a week has been flying manned and unmanned aircraft over Iraq, averaging a few dozen sorties daily for reconnaissance. The decision to arm some of the drones follows the deployment to Baghdad of troops who will advise and assist Iraqi counterterrorism forces. “The reason that some of those aircraft are armed is primarily for force protection reasons now that we have introduced into the country some military advisers whose

MINNEAPOLIS – Move over, Republicans. President Obama has a new boogeyman: The media. During his two-day tour here, the president has let out his frustrations on the fourth estate for failing, in his view, to cover serious issues facing the American people and instead focusing on the frivolous. “If you watch the news, you’d think, ‘Okay, Washington is a mess and the basic attitude is that everybody’s crazy,” Obama told a crowd of 3,500 here at the Lake Harriet Band Shell. Noting that he met with a local resident to discuss her difficulties paying her bills, Obama said: “You don’t

A Mexican military helicopter is shaking up the immigration debate. On Thursday, the chopper was conducting a drug-related operation and crossed the border into Arizona. Then – in U.S. airspace – it fired two shots at border patrol agents. KOVA News4 reports: The incident occurred west of the San Miguel Gate on the Tohono O’odham Indian Nation. The agents were unharmed. The helicopter went back into Mexico. Mexico then contacted U.S. authorities and apologized for the incident. While it’s fortunate that no one was injured or worse, the fact that something like this was even possible raises more “real time”

New York City’s newest budget includes enough money to pay the legal fees for about 1,380 illegal immigrants who are detained and facing deportation. Within the budget is a $4.9 million set-aside for the New York Immigrant Family Unity Project, a program that just wrapped a one-year test phase and was deemed a success by City Council, Breitbart reported. Under the program, taxpayers help cover the legal expenses for illegals in jail who should be deported, but are fighting it. President Obama is now reaching terminal velocity, like a skydiver plunging toward earth. Except he doesn’t have a parachute. There’s a mighty splat coming soon. With his approval rating at 40 percent, down 6 points from early June, and just 29 percent of Americans convinced the country is on the “right track,” the president is doubling down on his strategy of blaming Republicans for his failures. And he’s shifting into hyperpartisan drive, traveling the country to campaign for Democrats, many of whom wish he’d just stay away. Lois Lerner, the controversial director of the tax-exempt organizations division at the Internal Revenue Service, has a long sordid history of targeting conservatives. Under the direction of Lois Lerner, the Federal Election Commission sued the Christian Coalition in the 1990s. She harassed the Christian Coalition for three election cycles. Eventually, she lost her case. At one point Lerner even asked a targeted conservative if Pat Robertson prayed over him. (Sound familiar?) In 1996, while at the FEC, Lois Lerner harassed Republican Senate candidate Al Salvi and made him this outrageous offer, “Promise me you will never run for office again, and

But for his two-day excursion to Minnesota this week, the president boasted that he’s got little in the way of a formal agenda, has few firm plans, and warned Secret Service that he’s feeling “super loose” and could end up doing any number of things. “I don’t know. Republicans are in the strongest position to win back the Senate since losing it eight years ago. Over several months, the party has expanded its range of targeted seats, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has helped defeat insurgents it didn’t want representing the GOP in the midterm elections. This sober realization came to Democrats on Wednesday, as Tuesday night’s primary results showed they cannot count on Tea Party candidates upsetting more-electable incumbents. And Democrats are increasingly realizing that President Obama’s approval rating will probably remain mired at 45 percent or lower until

A shocking new report from the Center for Immigration Studies claims to prove that every single new job created in America for the last fourteen years has gone to immigrants, legal and illegal. This would fly in the face of those who claim that immigration is an economic boon to native born Americans: The CIS report found that over the last 14 years, people who were born in the United States held 114.8 million jobs in 2000, and held 114.7 million jobs in 2014, a drop of 127,000.
