IRS CANCELLED Contract with
Email-Storage Firm Weeks After
Lerner’s Computer Crash

Daily Caller, by Patrick Hawley

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) cancelled its longtime relationship with an email-storage contractor just weeks after ex-IRS official Lois Lerner’s computer crashed and shortly before other IRS officials’ computers allegedly crashed. The IRS signed a contract with Sonasoft, an email-archiving company based in San Jose, California, each year from 2005 to 2010. The company, which partners with Microsoft and counts The New York Times among its clients, claims in its company slogans that it provides “Email Archiving Done Right” and “Point-Click Recovery.” Sonasoft in 2009 tweeted, “If the IRS uses Sonasoft products to backup their servers why wouldn’t you choose

Seems like a strange time to cancel back-up service, when one needs it most. But lots of things are strange these days..."What difference does it make?"

Key words "WEEKS AFTER" Call Sonasoft before congress, just one question "Produce the document that served as a cancellation notice". Next call whoever signed that document, this may lead to proof of a purposeful coverup of the lerner emails.

Obviously, if they have an email-storage firm under contract that means that the emails can be obtained. SO, if they cancelled the contract after the crash, all of the emails prior to the crash are still discoverable. UNLESS the IRS told the contractor to delete any/all emails.

A Judge can order the Contractor to search their files and hand over any emails, it can also be done through a forensic computer search.

All of this is TOO much of a coincidence. We aren´t that stupid! Come Clean BO.

One crash is a curiosity. Two is a coincidence. And seven is a criminal conspiracy. There is no way this is possible other than as a result of collusion and deliberate action.

My suggestion is to subpoena the IRS IT guys and the email vendor, and have them questioned by competent, independent forensic IT guys. This whole thing will unravel in no time. You´ll get names, dates, criminal actions, then indictments and arrests. This puppy is over.

SUSPEND and CLOSE I.R.S. (It´s Really Stupid) Redesign and open new revenue collecting agency without the current administration´s input or attachment. If applicants have any prior history working for or with any government office their application must be "86´d." This new office can have no "influence" in it´s future operation from the executive office once started. Allow it to be formed under the "direction" of professional USA business leadership with congressional approval. I would not trust today´s Executive or Legislative branches to design a way to manufacture or get out of a brown paper bag.

How about a flat tax and eliminate the IRS entirely. Fire all of them starting at the top. Turn tax collecting over to each state and give the Feds a pittance to work with.
Anything is better than what we now have.

The law is that email must be discoverable, so businesses must archive their email. A lot of businesses hire out that function.

When you end the contract with one company and archive email another way, you don´t simply delete the email already archived--it still must be discoverable for any legal actions.

So, if the email archived by the Sonasoft was destroyed, someone is legally liable for this action: someone needs to pay.

The question is: who is going to pay and who is going to make them?

Can we discard the ludicrous fiction that Lerner´s computer "crashed"? Destroying evidence is a crime, and someone committed a serious crime here, with, we can be most certain, approval from the highest of high places. Why else claim "not a smidgin"? Computer "crash" - not even the lowest of the low information Obama voters believe that one.

Server backups is an insurance company policy against lightning strikes. The story the IRS is spinning is that lightening hit, then an asteroid fell, a plane crashed, and seconds later the tsunami wave came on us. The mails are all gone.

This story is beyond bizarre. the House needs to get this dirty wash out for everybody to see. The Dems are hiding because 90% of the U.S. will be stunned if the story gets an honest read.

Not sure why anyone would be surprised. After Lois Lerner deliberately sabotaged her hard-drive (tampering with evidence + destruction of Govt information), she then cancelled email back-up system. After all that was done then she calculated the timing of bringing it out in public knowing she had covered her tracks. That last email she sent IT reading "stuff happens"...that wasn´t meant for IT it was for Congress and all of us as she sits back and collects a pension of tax payer dollars.

The intelligence community axiom, "Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence and three times is enemy action" has been exponentially exceeded by the claims surrounding the IRS scandal.

Not just Lerner´s computer but at least six others used by probable participant in the plot "just happened" to have hard drive crashes, none were recoverable and all were purposefully destroyed, the servers all mysteriously suffered exotic and unexplained data losses, none of the recipients of any of the emails is known or can be determined, the only intentional wrong-doing was a couple of nerds in Cincinnati, and no body in charge - from the president on down - had a clue until they heard about it on Fox News!

And "Oh, by the way, we "just happened" to cancel our contract to back up emails [as soon as we realized they were going to land us all in prison.]

Exactly, OP. They canceled the backup system precisely because they knew that the "lost" emails could not be traced if there were no backup of some sort.

This was absolutely premeditated. Whatever was on the lost emails must have been very damaging, not just to Lois Lerner, but to the White House.

Well... If Sonasoft boasted about legal compliance then it must retain emails for the legal limit, contract or not. If it deleted the emails upon cancellation, one would think that they would be liable in any subsequent legal action.

I suppose they could say, it becomes the IRS´s problem, once the contract is cancelled. There will be heck to pay if they still have the legally required email backups. As someone suggested, if they don´t, the company deserves the death that will come.

That doesn´t mean the information is necessarily irretrievable. Ask...

But in the meantime, this is crime compounded on crime. This goes beyond what can be done with legal measures. Our entire Government, and I think I include Congress and the Supreme Court is illegitimate, illegal, and contemptible, failing in their sworn duties to WE the People. Every last one should be dismissed from service and held for trial. If it is found they have failed in putting the people before their own grasping desires they should be found guilty of treason and dealt with, appropriately.

I would bet once the contract cancelled, the archived e-mails were downloaded and recovered by the IRS or another vendor(yet to be discovered). Why would Sonasoft take up disk space retaining data for a former client. The Sonasoft website states that the client (IRS) has full access to archived information.

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. Contrary to what those who defend the right to own high-powered assault rifles believe, not all guns are created equal. Due to a combination of availability, portability and criminal usage the following five types of guns are the country's most dangerous. School Shootings: Widely Reported Tragedies Since 2000 - Using firearm trace data from the ATF, as well as FBI homicide records, we determined the types of guns most often recovered from crime scenes and/or used in murders. Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that

It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

President Obama is known for being competitive on the basketball court, but he´s also apparently a cutthroat pool player. Gov. John Hickenlooper, D-Colo., told reporters at the National Governors Association meeting on Sunday that the president surprised him by beat him in two consecutive games. To add insult to injury, the two were playing at the Wynkoop Brewing Company, a bar that Hickenlooper co-founded. "You know I´ll tell ya -- the man is a shark," Hickenlooper told reporters, Time reports. "I was up a few balls. I felt pretty good. I was actually wondering whether how hard should I --

“So far this year, Republicans in Congress have blocked every serious idea to strengthen the middle class.” –President Obama, weekly address, July 12, 2014 ~This has become a standard line in the president’s oratory, as part of making his case that he’s “acted this year to help working Americans on my own– when Congress won’t act.” The president started on this path on June 27, during a speech in Minnesota: “You know, sometimes I’m forcibly, you know, politic about how I say things, but I’m finding lately that I just want to say what’s on my mind. So, let me
