I watch army of hooded suicide bombers

Yesterday I witnessed the extraordinary sight of hordes of suicide bombers, dressed in black and brandishing Kalashnikovs, marching through the slums of Baghdad. Grouped into makeshift platoons--some wearing white shrouds to denote their readiness to die--they demonstrated their deadly skills in an astonishing display by ‘detonating’ the bombs they carried. They were part of the private army of powerful cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, an enemy of Britain and the US who inflicted terrible damage on Western troops after the 2003 American-led invasion of Iraq. He has now raised a militia of tens of thousands of fighters to combat the threat posed by ISIS

Cheer away infidel, see what the streets of London would look like if these savages achieved their dream. I guess the bombs in the Tube and street beheadings don´t disturb you.

What you are really witnessing Babs is the new 21st century Nazi movement of brain-washed zealots who desire world dominance through a brutal, ruthless Master Religion and will be used as pawns by Russia and China to bring about the destruction of the West.

Iraq´s disintegration will mean millions of refugees fleeing both Sunni and Shia terror armies, a lack of food, potable water and medicine, disruption and stoppage of Iraq´s oil exports and the spread of this madness into Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt. While Iraq & Syria implode, Russia seizes still more of Ukraine, China realizes Japan and Formosa are on their own, and Obama´s ICE is buying thousands of easily removable ankle bracelets to monitor the Invasion of the Children (too young to be returned, old enough to vote). This spreading turmoil will not end well.

Unfortunately, we have Obama as president, Valerie Jarrett as Commander in Chief, Susan Rice as National Security Advisor and Eric Holder as AG. To steal an Allstate line, The Bad Hands People.

A successful, peaceful and stable Iraq represented the single biggest threat to the UN and the entrenched appeasement of muslims that lies at it´s core. Ever.

The current muzzie punch-up in Iraq, empowered by simple treason, neglect and passivity is perhaps one of Obama´s greatest achievements in the advancement of western liberalism and the return of the dark ages.

Currency markets overshoot – get used to it

The CBI is understandably upset by my column this morning, which urged the business organisation to stop whining about a strengthening pound. Admittedly, my sign off line was gratuitous, but then it is the function of a columnist to overstate things from time to time. More seriously, however, is it right to be concerned about the recent strength in sterling? As is usually the case in currency markets, this is less a case of sterling strength as dollar and euro weakness. Our business and interest rate cycles are all out of sync, with the UK expected to be the first of the "big four" reserve currency central banks to raise interest rates.

Stephanie Kwolek, the American chemist and inventor who has died aged 90, created the first in a family of synthetic polymers that would later be spun together into Kevlar – a lightweight fibre with myriad applications, most famously in the construction of bullet-proof vests. In the early 1960s the chemical company DuPont was searching for a way to reinforce car tyres without the use of heavy steel belts. At the time there were predictions of an oil shortage, and researchers hoped that a new lightweight-yet-strong breed of tyre would result in more fuel-efficient cars. With a team of chemists called

Former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, are worth between $10 and $50 million, according to their financial disclosure forms--but taxpayers will still pony up nearly $1 million this year to fund their post-White House lifestyle. Like the three other living former presidents, Jimmy Carter and the two George Bushes, Clinton receives a $201,000 annual pension. But that just scratches the surface of the government benefits he shares with his wife Hillary. The total for 2014 also includes $157,000 for staff salaries and benefits, $414,000 for office space and $9,000 for phone bills.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will collect a $225,000 speaking fee from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in October, it emerged on Tuesday. The massive expense was confirmed just weeks after the university formalized a 4 percent tuition increase for each of the next four years. Rate hikes have nearly tripled tuition costs there since 2004. Clinton will deliver the keynote address at an invitation-only gala for philanthropists and other high-dollar donors who support UNLV. The university said private funds are being tapped to pay her speaking fee. But students see a zero-sum financial gain in which that

Boko Haram militants have abducted 60 more girls and women and 31 boys from villages in northeast Nigeria, reports claim. The apparent kidnapping in Kummabza, 95 miles from Borno state capital Maiduguri, is minutes from Chibok, where more than 200 schoolgirls were taken hostage on April 15. It has renewed fears over the safety of civilians amid a military state of emergency that has failed to curtail near-daily attacks by Boko Haram fighters. Security forces denied the kidnappings. Nigeria´s government and military have been widely criticized for their slow response to the schoolgirls´ abduction more than two months ago.

Yesterday the Mail revealed the terrible treatment meted out to great-grandmother Lily Dove, who has been told she can no longer visit her local GP. The surgery said it is unable to cope with a surge in the local population, many of them workers from Eastern Europe, so was ‘de-registering’ 1,500 patients. Mrs Dove--who has lived in the area since 1919--will find it enormously difficult to travel to another doctor three miles away. But, unbelievably, her GP in Watton, Norfolk, said that making an exception for the 95-year-old widow, and allowing her to remain on the books, would be ‘discriminatory’.

Joe Biden sought to make political capital out of presidential rival Hillary Clinton’s recent gaffes about her wealth by claiming that he ‘has no savings account’. However, financial records shows that he’s not quite the man of the people he claims to be, with a savings account worth between $1,001 and $15,000. The 2013 financial disclosure he made in May also indicates that the Vice President and his wife, Dr Jill Biden, are worth between $1,323,970 and $162,996. As the president moves toward the land of the lame ducks, his political enemies are calling for blood. That’s no shocker at this stage of a presidency. In this case, the cuts go deeper. At immediate issue is two years of subpoenaed e-mails from former IRS official Lois Lerner to outside agencies, lost in a convenient computer crash. The possible involvement of other agencies is one focus of a congressional investigation into the heightened IRS scrutiny of conservative nonprofit groups before the 2012 election. There are times that I have senior moments and forget certain names and events but after the recent Obama Iraq war implosion, I´m convinced most political pundits are suffering from them as well. What is unusual is that this revision of history is being committed by conservatives who should know better. Recent commentary by Glenn Beck, George Will and Charles Krauthammer indicate that they have significant memory lapses about why we went to war in Iraq. They now suggest that it was a wrong decision whereas my complaint is that we took too long to invade and oust Saddam Hussein.

In Egypt on Sunday, Mr Kerry warned that Sunni militants Isis´ "ideology of violence and repression is a threat not only to Iraq but to the entire region".
