Louisiana Gov. Jindal claims ´rebellion

WASHINGTON – Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal on Saturday night accused President Barack Obama and other Democrats of waging wars against religious liberty and education and said that a rebellion is brewing in the U.S. with people ready for "a hostile takeover" of the nation´s capital. Jindal spoke at the annual conference hosted by the Faith and Freedom Coalition, a group led by longtime Christian activist Ralph Reed. Organizers said more than 1,000 evangelical leaders attended the three-day gathering. Republican officials across the political spectrum concede that evangelical voters continue to play a critical role in GOP politics. "I can sense right now

FTA:

"Are we witnessing right now the most radically, extremely liberal, ideological president of our entire lifetime right here in the United States of America, or are we witnessing the most incompetent president of the United States of America in the history of our lifetimes? You know, it is a difficult question," he said. "I´ve thought long and hard about it. Here´s the only answer I´ve come up with, and I´m going to quote Secretary Clinton: `What difference does it make?"´

Bobby Jindal nails it.

The brewing rebellion is because the leaders in Washington (both parties) are not doing what "We the people" want done. We are being governed against our will. Destructive legislation is being shoved down our throats. It is also the main reason gun sales are though the roof.

Go back 6 years and read what I wrote. Obama was then and is now nothing. He only stayed in whatever office he was in long enough to step to the next level. He is neither competent nor is he worthy to lead this country.

Obama has festooned his administration with socialist liberals, not that Washington wan´t full of them already, that have no use for this country nor our history. An administration so inept, so corrupt, so out of touch with the rest of this country as to be foreign.

Obama is in violation of his oath of office to wit: "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution" he has systematically armed every branch of government and thrown open the southern border to an invasion that the states are powerless to stop.

In short Obama is afraid of the American people and I feel with just cause. He has pushed those that love this country to the edge of civil disobedience. Once over that edge he may have to use that militarized government/police agencies against citizens and when he does all hell will break loose.

He walks a fine line today!

#3 I´m sure anything you said was also said by everyone else on this forum, over and over, and earlier than 6 years ago. I myself saw Obama for what he was in 2007 the moment he staged faints and water bottle throws. Everything else followed logically.

I love this forum but we do need to get out of this echo chamber and spread the word in the real world...

STRATHAM, N.H. — Mitt Romney — suddenly the subject of wild speculation about a third presidential run — leveled a broad-based attack at President Obama in this first-in-the-nation primary state, while a new national poll shows more Americans wish the former Massachusetts governor, not Obama, were president now. “We’re really at a crossroads,” Romney said. “We’ve a president ... laying out a course for America that has resulted in people having a hard time finding a job. People are having a hard time making ends meet, because wages aren’t going up even as their costs are going through the roof. People

The U.S. military has secretly operated in Somalia since around 2007 and the Obama administration is planning on expanding that assistance to help counter the Al Qaeda-linked group al Shabaab. A senior U.S. defense official confirmed to Fox News Wednesday the details of the military presence, which were first reported by Reuters. An Obama administration official told Reuters there are approximately 120 U.S. troops on the ground in Somalia serving as trainers and advisers. The troops are “not involved in combat,” the official said. The Pentagon announced in January that it sent a handful of advisers in 2013 to Somalia,

‘Immigrants bring disease’ is an old prejudice, but it turns out some of the thousands of children streaming across the border have brought H1N1 with them. Here’s something you don’t hear a journalist say very often: I blew it. I was wrong. I dismissed out of hand the suggestion by anti-immigration activists and right-wing pundits that among the worries associated with the “border kids”—the estimated 52,000 children and teenagers who have crossed the U.S.-Mexico border in the last year or so—was that they carried communicable diseases. “How original” was probably my first thought. Immigrants and fears about disease go together like beans and

It’s been a week since Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) won the Mississippi Republican primary, but not if you ask Chris McDaniel. The failed Senate challenger hasn’t conceded to the six-term incumbent, and shows no signs of doing so anytime soon. Instead, the state senator is looking into legal routes to challenge the 6,693-vote margin he says was orchestrated through, at best, illegitimate voter targeting, and at worst through illegal vote-buying. Mississippi has no statute to force a recount, so McDaniel’s only recourse to challenge the outcome of an election that conservatives have widely panned is through legal means. He and his supporters

DENVER – “A disaster in the making.” That’s just one way Secretary of State Scott Gessler describes Colorado’s new $58 million computerized accounting system. The computer endeavor is called CORE (Colorado Operations and Resource Engine). State agencies have been told to start using it Tuesday, July 1. However, internal documents obtained by FOX31 Denver show the system isn’t even close to ready and won’t work as planned. If you receive any state benefits, pay fees or taxes, or are a vendor who does business with Colorado, this does affect you. It’d be tough to find an accountant for any state

Ex-Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner tried to audit Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley after Grassley blocked President Obama’s nominee to head the Department of Justice (DOJ) tax division, an executive branch insider told The Daily Caller. Grassley made it more difficult for the IRS and DOJ to work together to target conservative groups by blocking Obama’s political appointee Mary L. Smith from taking over the DOJ Tax Division, which prosecutes criminal cases for the IRS. Grassley held up the nomination in early 2010, just as Lerner and fellow IRS officials were mapping out their targeting strategy. The White House later withdrew

Sad to say, the Obama administration seems clueless about what might be broken at the VA and how to fix it. Either that, or it is just cravenly saying and doing whatever it thinks is necessary to make the story go away. Evidence for the clueless hypothesis came on Friday, when White House Deputy Chief of Staff Rob Nabors weighed in with his diagnosis (pdf) of what ails the VA. The document is extraordinary in its contradictions, sloppy formulations, and non-evidence-based conclusions. It starts off well enough by reporting “a strong sentiment among many Veterans and stakeholders that in general VA provides

Her recent gaffes about being "dead broke" or supposedly unlike the "truly well off" have made people wonder if she´s really in touch with ordinary Americans. And then there´s a legal case from her past cited in her book that makes one question whether she violated the attorney´s sacred oath to never betray a client´s secrets. The attorney-client privilege and its corollary duty to zealously advance the interests of even guilty clients form the very

In spite of the threat, several former camp workers broke their confidentiality agreements and shared exclusive details with me about the dangerous conditions at the camp.
