Stunning: DHS solicited bids
for vendor to handle 65,000
unaccompanied minors -- IN JANUARY!

The Obama administration’s claim to have been surprised by the wave of children flooding over out borders may turn out to be another political lie of the year. Sundance of Conservative Treehouse noticed a very peculiar advertisement: On January 29th of this year, the federal government posted an advertisement seeking bids for a vendor contract to handle “Unaccompanied Alien Children“. Not just any contract mind you, but a very specific contract – for a very specific number of unaccompanied minors: 65,000. • Why would DHS and ICE be claiming “surprise” by the current influx of unaccompanied minors on the border

FTA: "Secondly, how could they possibly anticipate 65,000 unaccompanied minors would be showing up at the border, when the most ever encountered in a previous year was 5,000 total ?"

This explains what has been said recently that Spanish language TV/radio in Central America has been running ads for these children to head for our borders. It makes no sense that they should be allowed to come across the border as "minors" unaccompanied by their parent, let alone a legal guardian.

This would seem to clearly show criminal intent on the part of 0bama and his administration to ignore our immigration laws outright. Where is a federal judge to reign him and his minions in?

They expect us to believe that these kids walked up from Central America and all managed to magically arrive at the same place at the same time? Could you walk 2000 miles with no food or water? How long would it take you?
Obama is having them bussed in.

The kids are not the criminals here. They need to be kindly returned home in a safe fashion and I hope they´ve enjoyed their adventure.

But there is criminal activity here and the criminals need to be charged.

Let them get their court/DHS appointed lawyer first, then deport the kids along with their lawyers.

It´s as we suspected all along. How could little children..even teenagers get themselves to the U.S. by walking a minimum of 1,000 miles by themselves. We knew there had to be some form of coordination. Unbelievable! What I couldn´t understand all along was why our elected officials including Congressmen, Senators, governors, the White house never brought this common sense question up? Because they all knew that´s why! and illegal immigration serves their own selfish interests. They are all so disgusting..so dishonorable..willing to sacrifice the well-being of America and Americans. This to me is criminal intent to injure the U.S. Why does "America´s media" not investigate properly and expose this trecherous regime´s diabolical scheming and plotting. After all...don´t these so called reporters and investigative journalists have children who need to grow and prosper in the U.S.? To me the MSM is a very willing participant in aiding and abetting the enemy(Obama and his ilk) in their endeavour to force the decline of America. I´m just so angry and at the same time I feel so helpless and disheartened. The realization that our own Government is to be feared by the people it´s supposed to protect and champion.

Obama must have had quite an operation going on in Central America. Somehow in January a plan was formed and executed to gather 65,000 unaccompanied children and transport them 1000+ miles. I don´t doubt that it was done. There must be evidence and witnesses or a whole lot more crashed hard drives.

Someday, in the near or not-so-near future, when 0bama´s impeachment is coming into focus, some low-level employee is going to see the writing on the wall, and to save himself a long jail sentence, and when he offers a plea bargain...he will spill his guts on this and any other issue he has relevant information about.

And when the first one becomes public...the rats will desert the sinking ship and stabbing each other in the back to not be the last in line...because they are D-rats.

I just read the government RFP and the additional information attached to it. This wasn´t a contract to bring people up from Central America or Mexico to into the US. It reads escorting children from border areas to HHS or Homeland facilities.

There are several "funny" aspects to it, like it covers unaccompanied infants. (how does that work).

The contract is for 5 years, so it could be referring to 13,000 kids per year.

Its conceivable that a contractors could have had their task diverted.

But this contract isn´t the smoking gun it initially appeared to be.

#13, This was a five-year federal contract--apparently. Mr A has been working on a three-year federal contract for two years. Notice has been given that the contract will not be renewed for its final year. Some contracts don´t last beyond the first year.

I didn´t read the RFP. Did it specify which border areas, i.e., Mexico-US? Could be the border between Mexico and Guatemala, Guatemala and San Salvador, and so on. I did read:

There will be approximately 65,000 UAC in total: 25% local ground transport, 25% via ICE charter and 50% via commercial air.

"[L]ocal Ground transport." Local US, local Mexico-Guatemala ground area, where? Ditto for the 75% air transport (50% of which is commercial). From any place in South America or only inside the US?

Hell´s bells, this has already cost us a bundle, with money going out to the contractor(s), let alone the transportation.

Seeing the pictures of these children, it is obvious that they didn´t walk anywhere, let alone 1,000 miles. They are all apparently clean and rested. Someone bussed them to the border in air-conditioned transport. and Someone needs to go to jail for conspiring to overwhelm our society with illegal aliens.

The contract doesn´t say geographically from where to where. It does say transporting the kids from Home Land Security to Health and Human Resources.
As I said, the contract if odd, but I don´t think it is the smoking gun I initially presumed it was.

Which isn´t to say that there isn´t something nefarious going on.

Thanks for the additional info, #20. My old brain, now resembling Swiss cheese, retains some of what I learned when working in the legal field; I´d say the lack of specificity might be because the areas were defined on another document appended to the contract. Surely a contractor wouldn´t bid without knowing locations, distances and all the other info needed for estimates--and wouldn´t sign a nonspecific contract. The way it stands (with possibly incomplete information), we apparently don´t know what areas the contractor(s) covered/are covering.

In 1982, I traveled via bus from Nuevo Laredo to Mexico City and it took around 12 to 18 hours, maybe another 8 to reach Acapulco. Mexicans frequently travel long-distances by bus; probably other Latinos do too. I´m thinking the passengers could stand a 24- to 48-hour bus journey with relatively frequent stops, as is the case. Longer than that would involve air travel.

I could be wrong and often am. Maybe the contract concerned only the US and the journeys through areas south of the US-Mexican border were the responsibility of the various governments, not the US. Either way, it looks as if the whole project was carefully and expensively planned and was not a surprise. If those teenage illegals can stay in the US, it might mean a significant number of Democrat voters in six years--and the destinations chosen for them just might be in areas where the Dems need votes--and not just where a conservative area would be PO´d. Perhaps those more alert could check for voting stats. Also either way, a large number of people must have been involved and they might soon begin to leak heavily.

A year ago I might have thought twice about writing a "conspiracy" post like this and wouldn´t have done it. Times have changed.

Sorry for another post but there´s clarification on the locations where the current surge, scratch that, tsunami of illegals will be picked up. From a FoxNews post at:

http://lucianne.com/thread/?artnum=789127

The new request states, “due to exigent circumstances, the Contractor shall be required to transport juveniles via ground to HUB airports or other staging areas that are not located within the area of initial apprehension.”

It´s a fair assumption that the areas where apprehensions are made are on our side of the border.

Glad we got that cleared up.

Unreal. I suppose they will claim that the ad was "unauthorized" and that they didn´t know about it until they read it on the internet.

I´d say that I´m outraged but outrage is this Administration´s method of churning the people´s pot constantly by keeping them off balance: When one fire is put out after being deliberately set, another fire erupts.

They are trying to wear us down so that we can no longer fight from sheer fatigue. But some of us won´t go quietly into that dark night.

Thanks, Mr. Lifson, for being a warrior for America. We need a LOT more warriors, mainly inside our government, people who are willing to sacrifice to take America back. People who haven´t gotten so soft and comfortable that they are willing to let others start the revolution.

God help us and God be just to those who are unjust.

Actually, #20, I´d say that this is in fact prima facie evidence of a criminal conspiracy. Regardless of the locations involved, it shows that there was advance planning for the intake and redistribution of an extremely large number of a very specific subset of illegal immigrants, namely unaccompanied minors.

That means that they were expecting that specific group to surge before it became a reality. That could only be the case if in fact they had collaborated with the parties who were themselves planning to make this surge happen, namely the governments of the countries of origin, with Mexico being the prime culprit because that would be the final point of entry.

No, this wasn´t a surprise "humanitarian crisis." It was a planned, aided, and abetted mass invasian. A modern day Trojan Horse brought in by the Obama Administration.

That´s a real conspiracy. And it is criminal. Somewhere out there are the communications and money trail that will confirm this. People need to go to jail. And the gang leader needs to be impeached.

That this was done is not amazing. What´s amazing is the OPENNESS with which it was done--which indicates how stupid and powerless this administration believes the American people (and that includes the other two branches of government) to be--and how hopelessly prostituted the press has become. They have become untouchable, and will remain so until a few brave men and women begin to speak the truth and act on it.

Just in case our dear leaders in Washington have forgotten:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."

Ring a bell, guys and gals? Without sovereignty our nation ceases to exist. Therefore, this border invasion enacted by the President along with who knows approval and support is in direct opposition to the solemn oath of office you took. Will you do your duty and defend the sovereignty of this country?

The Obama regime, taken in its entirety, is now a tyranny every bit as evil as that of King George III.

At some point soon...God knows why it has happened already...mainstream media has to face the reality that this president is subversive.

Media´s recent tanked believability ratings, piled on top of blatant deceptions like this one, tell me the turn is not far off.

Dems up for re-election are certainly making inter-party noises, too, and may start to squeal to save themselves. Obie obviously knows he´ll be hurting the Dems in November, but doesn´t care. I suspect he´s begging for an impeachment as the only thing that could re-energize his wacko base. And as Rush espoused, losing the Senate enhances that chance, meanwhile he can do whatever he pleases through exec. actions

Washington and New York TV are LYING, PROPAGANDA MACHINES.
Fox, Drudge, all net and talk radio must begin to show income and net worth of each liar, whenever their name is mentioned in the news.
Example: Eric Cantor $150,000 salary, $150,000 perks, one million dollars Boeing bribes per year, est net worth, 20 million dollars.

Attaching this kind of information to each name, each appearance in the various avenues of news, WILL HELP
AMERICA TO FINALLY SEE THE LIGHT !

When we are constantly reminded that Diane Sawyer has an estimated net worth of FIFTY MILLION for lying on the job, public awareness will take a giant leap !

Name, income, perks, estimated net worth !
This new custom scones a part of the counter culture.
Expose all these greedy traitors !

Perfect example: why wasn´t Lois Lerner´s salary AND her new SAFE RETIREMENT salary posted each time her name was mentioned for stonewalling the FIFTH ?

When I heard a couple of weeks ago that newspaper ads are running in most of the Central American newspapers of "Come to USA, Kiddies, free stuff!", I wondered if the 0bamanites were the ones who placed those ads.

Soon 0bama will announce a new federal program paying people a couple thousand taxpayer dollars per kid, for ´fostering´ these illegal aliens.

If he could get away with it, he would just command that middle class families adopt at least one per family...

Well maybe many of the new ´gay´ ´married´ couples will want to take them in.....

....for one reason or another.

What kind of country allows tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors to cross 1000 miles of its territory for the purpose of invading another sovereign country? I´m talking to YOU, Mexico!

What kind of man plots to encourage tens of thousands of impoverished, unaccompanied children to cross 1000 miles of (mostly) dangerous desert, and then invade his own country illegally? I´m talking to YOU, Obama!

This entire episode is despicable, from the RFP in January for contractors to handle 65,000 unaccompanied minors (an awfully specific number, wouldn´t you agree?), to the squalor and disease that we now see at the detention centers on the border. Just when you thought it couldn´t get any worse...

The conservative commentators who advocated a “path to citizenship” after the 2012 election bear partial blame for the current wave of illegal immigrants from Central America. Many of those who advocated for amnesty following the 2012 election are now complaining that people indeed came expecting that amnesty. But there is also an unbelievably bad policy at the root of the problem. The William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 is the awful piece of legislation that is allowing tens of thousands of illegal aliens to be released and remain in America while awaiting “deportation hearings” that we all

At a recent town hall meeting in Edmond, Oklahoma, local citizens gathered to discuss the possible connection between fracking and increased seismic activity in their area. According to one published report, members of the audience left “disappointed” that no consensus had been reached linking fracking and seismic activity. (snip)Clearly, the left is engaged in an all-out effort to smear the oil and gas industry by spreading misinformation and fostering confusion – such as ignoring the difference between fracking itself and wastewater injection. The intent of this effort is to cripple the U.S. economy by depriving it of an efficient and

Is stupidity or malevolence behind the policy of distributing Central American illegal alien children around the country among the general population? The question must be asked because alarming numbers of these unfortunates are carrying tuberculosis, a lethal disease that had largely been eradicated from the United States. After months of collaboration with dozens of family activists, my blogging squad (English Manif) was able to publish a catalog of 300 real-life examples of totalitarian conduct by the gay marriage and gay parenting movement. For the convenience of readers, and to allow for discussion with common reference points, we have numbered the examples. The incidents range from small and episodic things (snip) to the grave and severe, such as #157 (the imprisonment of a young French man for opposing same-sex marriage) or #162 (the hiring of trained provocateurs to infiltrate the French Manif pour Tous).

Anthony Cumia gets attacked all the time: Most often for telling the truth about black crime and violence that is stratospherically out of proportion. And how reporters condone it. On Thursday night, July 3, his bosses at Sirius XM radio fired him for it. “The decision was made, and Cumia informed, late Thursday, July 3, after careful consideration of his racially charged and hate-filled remarks on social media,” said the suits at Sirius. “Those remarks and postings are abhorrent to SiriusXM, and his behavior is wholly inconsistent with what SiriusXM represents.” Cumia was typically defiant: “Sirius decided to cave and fire me,” he

It was headlining AOL on Friday: a story about a woman stabbing a schoolteacher to death in front of a class of five and six-year-olds. But a certain bit of information is conspicuously missing from virtually all the reportage. On July 2, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) announced that it would not reopen the investigation into the destruction of TWA 800. This was the Boeing 747 that was blown out of the sky ten miles south of the Long Island coast on July 17, 1996, killing all 230 people on board. The TWA 800 Project, a team of former aviation investigators and scientists, had petitioned the NTSB to examine evidence that pointed toward a missile strike on the airline. Not surprisingly, the NTSB, which had invested four years of resources to prove some other theory, any other theory, chose

Winter reports that several dead children have been discovered “washed up along the riverbank” of the Rio Grande, but fails to note that there have been no reports by the Obama administration on this. This indicates a pattern of covering up dead illegal alien kids by the Obama administration. It was two weeks before news was reported on the sole child death acknowledged by the Obama administration, Gilberto Ramos, a 15 year-old boy from Guatemala whose body was found in the Texas brush dead from the

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. “Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security.
