Enough! They MUST Be Stopped!
American Thinker, by Lloyd Marcus

Original Article

It has become a daily frightening occurrence, hearing politicians, commentators, pundits, and stunned Americans say, “That´s outrageous!” “He can´t do that!” “No way!” “It´s against federal law!” “They have no legal authority to force us to do that!” These comments are in response to the daily unprecedented out-of-control tyranny handed down by Obama and his operatives. We are talking arrogance with a capital A coming out of the Obama administration. For example: the GOP was moving too slow in caving to Obama´s amnesty scheme, so Obama said, Heck with it, I´ll bypass everyone and make it happen. Obama sent a

We need to take the senate, in order to impeach AND remove Zero from office.

The amnesty push for this August is to allow the immigrants to vote Democrat to prevent just that.

The Washington elite have been in cahoots for decades - possibly since Lincoln´s assassination. Part of the problem is that even if you clear out all the old dead wood, you have the permanent un-elected support personnel who have been there for decades and tell all incoming freshman that it is their way or the highway. After a few years of dealing with them, even the most courageous and well-intentioned elected official can be turned.

We need to keep ANYONE from attaching themselves to power on a semi-permanent basis. To this end we need to simplify the laws and work so that anyone who takes civil service classes in school has an idea of what needs to be done.

Then we do the following:

1. Term limits to two terms - all offices. New blood is selected by lottery from the general public and the Political conventions are where the selected work out who is going to be in in what jobs. Then the parties run against one another in the general election.
2. the elected hire the new bureaucracy. Everything is replaced each and every time there is an election.

If we simplify, it won´t be a problem. If we educate, every citizen will know that someday, they might be called to step in and they will have learned what they needed during their education.

I mean really - couldn´t ANY citizen pulled off the street do a better job than what our current crop is doing now?

This administration has learned that laws simply don´t mean anything when no one has the gumption (read GOP) to enforce them. Political Correctness has come to its ultimate fruition and left us with all the rules being suspended, all boundaries and borders erased, lawlessness ruling the streets and government, Black-on-White savagery, an economy in shambles, cops now ready for war on American soil and the United States reduced to laughing stock on the world stage. Welcome to Government Gone Wild! We are witnessing the destruction of Democracy unless this chaos is stopped, and it is a damn sure bet that these Marxist buffoons are not going to stop themselves!

Normally, I wouldn´t quibble with a headline, but in this case it´s clear that it should be: "Enough! HE Must Be Stopped!"

The fact is that all the governmental over-reach has been turned loose by one person, Barack Obama. He has become the First Dictator of the United States. And he has cowed the Congress and the Supreme Court into submission. They not only will not stop him, but at nearly every turn they aid and abet his unconstitutional moves.

This cannot continue. The people will have to takes matters into their own hands in order to stop this tyranny.

Great article, but as usual I don´t expect any actions from politicians of either party (except a few who actually see the danger to their country and put that above their own DC perks).

No President is above the law, and neither are other bureaucrats of either party. Obama is out of control and somebody had better pass the word. Obama may have illegally snuck you into the country, but you are going to be kicked right back out.

Easy to say.
Hard to do.
How many bullets did Homeland Security buy?
I do not know what it will take. Currently the lame-stream media backs the regime unconditionally, and the lo-fos lap it up.
Nobody much cares anymore, as our country goes under.
Very soon we will see much worse, as North Korea drops a bomb on Pearl Harbor. Then what?

We´ve all been sitting back watching things happen, It´s going to come to point here... soon.

Our Gov´t cannot continue to break the laws of the Land. If they do, our Country is finished.

Okay, we agree that Obama must be stopped. The question is, how. Americans are programmed to expect that our representatives will actually represent the will of the people and that does not seem to be happening. While we wait for elections to roll around, Obama does what he darn well pleases. If we are successful and Republicans take the Senate and retain the House, what gives you any indication that anything will change. Republican leadership has been a failure of messaging, strategy, and will. Their "show investigations" have proven to be ineffective and toothless. I am thoroughly disgusted by the lack of courage by our elected politicians who stand in the corner sucking their thumbs and clinging to their feely blanket as Obama walks all over the Constitution. Their behavior in the face of a President who is out of control gives me no confidence that they have the will to stop him.

Thank heavens for Lloyd Marcus! He is a brave and thoughtful man. He reminds me of Patrick Henry: he forcefully states an uncomfortably truth publicly, and---I truly believe, knowing this bunch---at the risk of his life. The fact that he is black is a plus, although the Uncle Tom slur was invented by black people so they could slime one of their own.

Worse, they have gerrymandered the system so this a permanent state of affairs.

Beg to differ, #5. Presidents have been above the law since Clinton was acquitted of perjury by the senate. That day, I suggested that the maintenance crew at the Supreme Court gather up some chisels and remove the words "Equal Justice Under Law" from the front of the building.

Zippy is Clinton on steroids.

I believe Obama is purposely pushing the envelope - if he is impeached he knows he´ll never be convicted and it will fire up his base which is pretty quiet right now. On the other hand, if he´s not impeached, he´ll just keep on ignoring the law, the Constitution, and the people.

When Dear Leader Barack Hussein announces that he, by executive order and the will of the people for Hope and Change, is canceling the 2016 presidential election and will remain in office indefinitely, the GOP will collectively say "Oh, darn it!". Then the GOP will hold a hearing where Democrats will be allowed to shred evidence and withhold testimony. The MSM will praise Dear Leader Barack Hussein´s new Gutsy Call regarding presidential elections, and a majority of Americans will weigh in positively on the constitutionality of allowing a Marxist to be president-for-life, the New Normal. Then, the GOP will profusely apologize to anyone who was offended when they said "Oh, darn it!".

Looking at the current trajectory, it´s only a matter of time.

The GOP just happens to be the minority party in congress. Reid has changed the vote in the senate to protect the dems vote. Now knowing this what do u want the GOP to do. Impeach in the House. Ok. And like Clinton..that´s as far as impeachment goes. Also impeach we get Biden..and that is why obama picked Biden...he is an idiot..
Only way to bring this guy down..proof that he is not an American citizen..his mother revoked his citizenship. When was it renewed. It couldn´t have been if he attended college as a foreign student. And that alone should be enough info to oust him..another bit of proof,,mitchelle is on video saying he was born in Kenya..obama himself is on video stating ths..use it..
But no one will. The MSM won´t help. Maybe it should b put up on billboards across the country.
Another is why are our governors not using states rights...close the states borders.. Get tough...why do they cave to obama....I bet the people of a state would back any govenor who would use states rights...

Ldotter honesty has to be brought to television.
Open, frank talk needs to leave these internet pages
and be used openly on media´ talk radio and FoxNews.
citizens must be heard.
Forget The Karl Roves and the Cheneys.
No more, just the idea of citizen´s voices.
The old guys are simply too cautious, too protective.
The interviewers on the street must stop interviewing
only the stupid Jay Leno types.
That practice is insulting
Time for VOX POP.
Washington will not speak out.
They´re all afraid to speak frankly. ..

Do not impeach which is what Sissy Boy wants, use power of purse, win election and neuter the O-hole. Term limits mostly on staffers who write all the BS like the health care law that no one read. They who have been in their jobs for years while congressmen come and go, hold power and have their allegiances. they need to be let go after 4 yrs.

Firstly, getting the LDotter honesty off these pages is hard, especially when you consider the Lib push to shut down conservative speech.

When you have the IRS working to shut down conservatives, the lap dog media the way it is, well, good luck. We are all preaching to the chior, and that´s how they want it. Hence, why the Tea Party was born. Now, they are being voted in but just as the Prog movement took a long time, as will the Tea Party movement. Rome wasn´t built in a day, nor will the rebirth of conservatism. We have no one to blame but ourselves. Accept that fact, as we let our guards down, and allowed this poison to seep in. It won´t be fixed overnight.

Next, the impeachment thing just isn´t going to happen. They already have it in the public´s collective mind any such talk is insanity. Keep it up prior to the election, and kiss conservative votes goodbye.

We simply need to keep on pointing out the issues, they cannot die. You all know the list, you know the drill. Keep talking to anyone you meet. Barring that, vote. Don´t sit home this time. Don´t vote to impeach later, vote for the change you want to see.

Get those reps in that truly stand for what you want, and get back to basics, Tea, taxed enough already. Then make that person you voted for personally responsible for your vote.

Conservatives biggest mistake was sitting out two elections to make a point. Those that did so got what they deserve, and have no right to complain. Unfortunately, they brought the rest of us along for the ride. Those that tried, don´t give up. Many are waking up, it´s only the extreme leftists anymore, and the uninformed. Your job is to inform. Never give up.

"Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction."

Who is this man of lawlessness? A dictator cannot be lawless because he is the law and therefore anything that a dictator does is lawful. Lawlessness can only spring from a nation of laws. Could it be lawless regarding God´s laws? If that is the interpretation, the all are guilty. Obama fits the description pretty well.

As Ronald Reagan told Pat Buchanan, don´t be afraid to see what you see. Law means nothing to Obama. Nothing. Don´t even bring that to the argument.

Most of us are in agreement that the kenyan fraud has to go and it will be accomplished one way or another before his second term is up. There are those in congress in both parties that can not take the embarrassment much longer.

My hangup to date is the need to do it legally, but since barry and his henchman Holder don´t have this restriction, the rest of us are slowly beginning to lose what little respect we have left for the law. Obama may go out with a smidgeon of dignity or he may be removed a little more rudely, it´s up to him.

If Obama is impeached, what does that actually mean for the people? Clinton was impeached and he smirked his way through the rest of his term and still runs around acting as if he´s untainted.

If Obama is removed, do we get that buffoon Biden? Can they be ousted together?

Too much more damage will be wreaked in the next couple of years if Obama is allowed to continue to act on his own unchecked.

Impeachment is a trap. Fauxbama would love to hear talk about impeachment, knowing he can spin it as racism. The only way to shrink the government is to shrink the government. Elect a conservative congress and turn off the money supply. You want less IRS corruption? Reduce the number of IRS officials and keep them busy just trying to keep up. Take away the time in which they can make mischief. Wean the people away from Uncle Sugar and get them used to the idea of keeping more of their paycheck. Make it clear, in no uncertain terms, that the gravy train has stopped and the country belongs to those who work for a living.

ROCK: Obama must be stopped. Impeachment and removal from office by trial in the Senate is the only way it can happen. We are in deep trouble because of Obama´s lawlessness and the Democrats´ being on his side.

HARD PLACE: The House can impeach. If it does, and it would if taken to a vote, 2/3 of the Senate must then try and convict, (presided over by the Chief Justice of SCOTUS), that POTUS should be removed from office. The odds of that are not good.

So even if the House impeaches, it´s not automatic that O gets kicked out.

Worse, given the ignorance and stupidity of American voters on the Left, and the willful compliance of the media, the act of impeachment will cause homegrown chaos, mostly by lo-fos.

O has been given the stamp of dictatorial approval by GOP inaction, Democrat complicity and media corruption.

We are screwed unless God decides to intervene. He has been known to do that in the past, so prayer seems to be our only, well, prayer right now.

God, do something. Anything. Amen.

I think Hussein´s blatant misuse of presidential power has become a game now. He and Holder and probably Val Jar behind the curtain are having fun destroying this country and laughing daily because it´s so easy.

I also believe the primary objective behind every action they take is to start a bloody race war. Knock out games are just practice.

THEN they can swoop in with his riot control trained ´peacekeepers´; tanks (saw a video once taken by a guy waiting at a crossroad for a train to pass - the train was carrying hundreds and hundreds of tanks going where?); Homeland Security (joke) with their several million heavy guns & ammunition and their re-education camps; his Muslim packed administration and God knows what else!

P.S. You think those are just children walking across the border? Think again.

I read the above flailing posts.

First, #4: they are the progressives in the Democratic party and the GOP Establishment.

Second, we should remember the advice of ancient Chinese philosopher Lao-tzu: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" (or whatever is the proper translation).

The "first step" in this case is for the House to pass articles of impeachment - now. Don´t wait to recover the hard drive or hidden backup tapes, don´t wait until after the NOvember elections, don´t wait for evidence that would meet the court threshold of "beyond a reasonable doubt": do it now. The Constitution gives Congress the discretion to decide what are "high crimes and misdemeanors". Anyone who is conscious knows that this threshold has been crossed.

Reid will "deep six" it, to be sure. That is a given. However, campaign on it in order to recapture the Senate and hold the House - and to establish a mandate. Then re-submit the articles in January. Senate Democrats would be under intense pressure to go along, in light of the election mandate. After all, they place party above all else and will recognize the existential threat if they do not. They´re evil, not stupid. Enough will "feel the heat" to make the 2/3 vote achievable.

Even if the effort is unsuccessful, it will be on the record for all, especially the voters in 2016, to see. Then let that election be a referendum on the whole episode.

Do the right thing, and let the chips fall. For good or ill: in a democracy or democratic republic, the people ultimately get the government that they deserve. That cannot be controlled. If we can´t trust the people, then the American experiment has failed. All hail the Emperor!

9 – “… must be stopped … how” -- Actions speak louder than words. Venting versus action. God does not invoke “corporate” judgment—judgment is individual. With that in mind, to be sure politicians “hear” the voice of the people is for individuals to act and that can be done without violence. Note Eric Cantor. Using e-mail, telephone calls, and letters are other means of communication that, in volume, can make politicians take notice. Impeachment is not likely for various reasons, not the least of which may be to avoid random or orchestrated violence throughout the country by progressive loyalists.

I´ve said this many here at LCom and I´ll say it again. I firmly believe that the country has gotten to the point that NO political solution is possible for it´s survival. The only thing that will work is for the people of this nation to rise up in revolution, again, correct that which has allowed this situation to happen, and start all over again. There are far too many problems to state here but some of the worst is to limit times in office. It was done to the president and needs to be done on the Congress. I think the 12yrs is adaquate. And have a mechanism to remove federal judges when they legislate from the bench. Repeal the 17th admendment. Senators were NEVER suppose to represent the people. They are supposed to represent the states. The Original constituion is a great place to start but it needs fine tuning to address modern times problems and the people who think that becoming a federal politician is a life time job. It never was intended to be.
But first, we have the revolution. I´m 69yrs old and I´ll sign up now if someone creates the militia.

#39: I agree and disagree.

Yes, we should be swamping our Congressmen with calls and emails to take action. Yes, we should do all we can to defeat RINOs at every opportunity.

No, street riots would not be a negative in this case. Remember (if you were alive then) that the street riots in 1968 helped propel Richard Nixon (whatever you think of him) to victory. Nothing would motivate the "silent majority" to get to the polls in 2016 like rioting of the LoFos.

calling and emailing congress is POINTLESS. It is so 1970´s to think this has any real effect on anything. The only solution would be for everyone to stop paying taxes. The irony in all this is that WE are paying for our own destruction. A national movement for patriots to boycott taxes would be the only thing to stop this tyranny. What would follow next, could be ugly and deadly...but that would be up to obama.

Your proposal is closest to better results but it will work only if we had small gov´t, like they do in small towns. Right now we have leviathans everywhere and to deal with it there need to be professionals. Professionals being regular people, meaning soulless scum, will take advantage of the system skimming the benefits for themselves or simply wallow in power grabs. Of course, if we had multi-party system and FREE press it would help.

Thank you, #36. I was beginning to see yellow streaks everywhere I read. The right thing to do is rarely the politically expedient thing to do. The Constitution gives us a way to get rid of Obama. Use it. It´s time. I´ll take my chances with the clown (Biden) over the tyrant.

Uh huh. The Mafia-esque regime in power will lawyer-up and Holder-the-Corrupt will stop any threats to Obama. Now think about the huge demographic shifts going on in America right now, and of all of the illegals yet to come, who will get to stay, be amnestied, and then have corrupt legislators (but I repeat myself) whining about how unfair it will be if the illegals can´t vote (democrat). Progressives have planned this coup very well, relying on the complacency and stupidity of so many voters with an ever-increasing interest in government dependency and "income equality". SO, you WON´T stop them! ... the lure of free stuff will persuade people that liberalism is the path to "the good life", and overwhelming and increasing hispanic (and black) votes for democrats will seal the deal and bury republicans. I am a conservative but I can see the writing on the wall, comrades.
Land of the Free? Not so much anymore.

There is a long list of current events to express remorse and outrage about, but the one that nags me most is our Republican so-called leaders who only seem to know how to bend over and grab their ankles. They are the most ineffective bunch of wimps I have ever seen. Most of them seem to have been in Washington D.C. too long to have any idea of how to represent a constituency they no longer know nor understand. God help us all.

McAllen, TX -Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, freed after years of captivity in Afghanistan and returned to active duty this week, has retained an attorney — a military law expert from Yale. Eugene Fidell, who teaches military justice at Yale Law School, told the Los Angeles Times that he has been representing Bergdahl for about a week and is working pro bono. Fidell said he has received a variety of reactions to his decision to work with Bergdahl. "There are people who harbor ill will toward my client," Fidell said, but at the same time he has received emails "wishing my client

Car theft is a major problem in America, but most people would agree that it’s hard to lose a car. As an investigation by the Daily Beast has learned, however, the Pentagon has somehow lost multiple cars belonging to American servicemen and women. Here’s how it happens: The Pentagon often reassigns their soldiers to different stations throughout the world, and helps their families defray the financial costs of moving — including the cost of shipping their cars. For decades, the Pentagon contracted this service out to American Auto Logistics (AAL), but replaced them this summer with a company called International

Workers report regularly seeing illegals making their way along the pathway of the pipeline. Brooks County Sheriff’s Deputy Daniel Walden brought Breitbart Texas to the construction area during a ride-along. He said the pipleline has already become a massive flow point for the illegal immigrants who struggle to find their way north to an area where they can be picked up. Pipeline construction workers

In 2012, I alerted the federal government to the growing problem of unaccompanied minors making the treacherous journey across Mexico to reach the United States. At that point the minors could annually be numbered in the hundreds or thousands. In recent months, tens of thousands of children have come across the border and are now housed in federal facilities across the U.S., the result of failed federal policies and Washington´s indifference to securing the border. I visited one of these facilities in June and saw these children, frightened and alone, who left their homes and families, survived a harrowing trip, and

Attorneys allied with Democrats in opposing the suit said it´s the GOP that´s going too far by trying to resolve a political dispute by giving the question to the courts to decide. The lawyers appeared Wednesday before the House Rules Committee, which is considering legislation authorizing the House to file the lawsuit. The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. “Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security.
