The facts are these. In 1975, before she married Bill Clinton, Hillary Rodham defended a child rapist in Arkansas court. She was not a public defender. No one ordered her to take the case. An ambitious young lawyer, she was asked by a friend if she would represent the accused, and she agreed. And her defense was successful. Attacking the credibility of the 12-year-old victim on the one hand, and questioning the chain of evidence on another, Clinton got a plea-bargain for her client. He served ten months in prison, and died in 1992. The victim, now 52, has had

This story sheds a little insight onto Hillary´s moral compass. I am not sure, but I don´t believe the needle is pointing true north. Heck, after all this time, the needle is probably missing. If we have learned anything these past five year is that character matters and honesty truly is a virtue.

Looks like she was already practicing the art of deception. Good job.

The Clintons and the Kennedys and the Obamas have the pleasure of keeping company with felons, terrorists, rapists, and murderers, liars and they laugh at how easy it is to get away with this kind of stuff. Most of us would cringe at the very idea but that is who they are and is reflected by who they associate with.

Experience defending rapists was helpful in her years with Bill. He put her skills to the test many times and with a possible campaign coming they will likely be tested again when Bill hits the road.

In my opinion, the most damning thing Hitlary ever said was, "We know how to spend your money better than you do. We need to take control of all Americans´ money, because they do not know how to save. Most Americans are irresponsible." Speaking of the government taking control of 401K´s and IRA retirement accounts, and how to "fix" Social Security. Just prior to the finacial crisis.

Anything else before or since is just icing on the dang cake.

She was right about one thing, the government knows how to spend better than anyone on this planet.

So her defense went something like, “I have been informed that the complainant is emotionally unstable with a tendency to seek out older men and engage in fantasizing,” Clinton, then named Hillary D. Rodham, wrote in the affidavit. “I have also been informed that she has in the past made false accusations about persons, claiming they had attacked her body. Also that she exhibits an unusual stubbornness and temper when she does not get her way.”

DALLAS — She is in sneakers again. One year after bursting onto the national scene with a marathon filibuster against abortion restrictions, Wendy Davis, the Texas state senator and Democratic nominee for governor, has been doing everything she can to mark the anniversary of that speech last June, even donning the same pink Mizuno sneakers. The problem: A year after her filibuster pumped her up into the kind of galvanizing candidate Texas Democrats have not had for decades, she seems very much dragged down to earth, dwarfed by the perception that Democrats’ chances of ending the Republican domination of Texas

In today´s America, I can´t be both an economist and a liberal. Economists should be bound by facts and reason. And I can´t do that and embrace liberal positions on the minimum wage, climate change and gender discrimination. Raising prices for most anything reduces purchases. Simply put, if beef or a plumbers’ visit gets too high, folks start to eat more chicken and fix their own faucets. The Congressional Budget Office estimates raising the federal minimum wage to $10.10 an hour, as President Obama proposes, would eliminate 500,000 to 1,000,000 jobs. Businesses will be forced to raise prices, lose customers

But, that doesn´t mean he´s running for president -- or even thinking about running for president -- in 2016. Talk of a possible third presidential bid for Romney has surfaced of late -- with poll numbers that show he is well regarded by Republican voters and a growing sense within the GOP smart set that no candidate has really emerged from the pack as of yet. What transpired in the Mississippi Senate run-off is a red line for many conservatives across the country, because the Republican Party establishment essentially took a civil war and escalated it to a war for independence. It’s one thing to oppose your base in a primary. It’s entirely another to despicably play the race card against your base, and bolster the legitimacy of the propaganda of our race-baiting opponents on the Left. There are two arguments that advocates of Chris McDaniel are using to suggest that the results of Tuesday´s Republican Senate run-off election in Mississippi should be overturned. First, they argue that voters who voted in the Democratic primary and the Republican run-off should be eliminated from the total. And, second, they argue that Mississippi law prevents someone from voting in a party primary who won´t support the general election candidate. Neither argument will work. In the first case, there are almost certainly not enough Democratic primary/GOP runoff ballots to make up the nearly 7,000-vote gap between McDaniel and incumbent Sen. Thad
