Exclusive: The U.S. Attorney´s Office in the Eastern District of Virginia has reopened its criminal investigation into allegations of illicit gun-selling at senior levels of the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS), multiple sources told FoxNews.com. "They´re taking another look at everything. They appear to have received new information they did not have during their initial investigation," one of the sources briefed on the case told FoxNews.com. In addition to the criminal probe, sources said internal investigations within the Air Marshal Service and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) have involved a larger number of senior officials

Comments:
It´s surprising that Obama and Holder allowed this to go forward. That list of scandals coming out of the Obama regime sure is getting long.

IRS boss faces ‘cover-up’ claims ahead

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen is facing accusations of a "cover-up" over the Tea Party targeting scandal, after claims surfaced that ex-official Lois Lerner´s hard drive was destroyed and emails from several other officials also have gone missing. The commissioner is set to face lawmakers at a Capitol Hill hearing on Friday before the House Ways and Means Committee. GOP lawmakers are furious after learning a week ago that many Lerner emails from a two-year period supposedly have disappeared. Committee Republicans now say that the IRS may have known about this for months, and that the agency may have lost emails from

We’ve established before that Harry Reid‘s vendetta against money in politics isn’t exactly consistent, but Reid raised a few eyebrows today when he said Republicans have plenty of billionaires while Democrats don’t have “many.” CNN’s Jake Tapper caught this odd statement and called out Reid for overlooking all the billionaires who actually do support Democrats. Tapper played the video of Reid and said, “The left doesn’t have many billionaire backers? Oh, really? Well, you could name George Soros, David Shaw, Irwin Jacobs, to name a few.” He also singled out Tom Steyer, the billionaire philanthropist and environmentalist who has taken

Ever wonder what all those White House correspondents talk about while they are waiting for President Barack Obama to step up to the podium? Well now thanks to a live feed and a hot mic, we know what MSNBC’s Chuck Todd and Fox News’ Ed Henry really think about Sen. John McCain (R-AZ). Before Obama entered the briefing room to make his statement on Iraq, Todd leaned over to Henry to ask him what McCain, who supports air strikes in Iraq, must think now that General David Petraeus has come out against further military action. House Republicans on Thursday elected Kevin McCarthy as their new majority leader, elevating the 49-year-old Californian to the No. 2 position in GOP leadership and triggering a subsequent contest to replace him as majority whip. McCarthy defeated Rep. Raul Labrador in the race to replace Eric Cantor, whose shocking primary loss last Tuesday set the stage for Thursday´s secret-ballot special election. Republicans will now choose between three candidates vying to replace McCarthy as whip: Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana, who chairs the Republican Study Committee; Rep. Peter Roskam of Illinois, currently the chief deputy whip; and Rep. Marlin Stutzman of Indiana, a

Sen. The president addressed the sectarian violence in Iraq and the U.S. response after meeting for hours with his national security team. The president repeatedly stressed that U.S. combat troops would not engage in the conflict. "Ultimately, this is something that´s going to have to be solved by the Iraqis," Obama said. Let´s begin with Barack Obama´s infamous words: That central Obamacare promise, like its closest cousins, have been downgraded and revised to death. Last year, scholars at the Manhattan Institute ran a 49-state analysis of individual market healthcare rates under Obamacare and found a 41 percent increase on average. Their follow-up study of more than 3,100 counties across the country pegs the average hike at 49 percent. Consumers in New York -- home to a distorted, "death spiral"-plagued individual market prior to Obamacare -- are among the few Americans who´ve enjoyed an average rate drop. WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Patent Office ruled Wednesday that the Washington Redskins nickname is "disparaging of Native Americans" and that the team´s federal trademarks for the name must be canceled. The 2-1 ruling comes after a campaign to change the name has gained momentum over the past year. The team doesn´t immediately lose trademark protection and is allowed to retain it during an appeal. Redskins owner Daniel Snyder has refused to change the team´s name, citing tradition, but there has been growing pressure including statements in recent months from President Barack Obama, lawmakers of both parties and civil rights groups.

In what some see as the first step to forcing the Washington Redskins football team to change their name, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Wednesday cancelled six federal trademarks of the team name because it´s “disparaging” to Native Americans. “Petitioners have shown by a preponderance of the evidence that a substantial composite of Native Americans found the term REDSKINS to be disparaging,” said the decision. Fans, however, won’t see any immediate change — even if Daniel Snyder’s team eventually loses in court. That’s because all the order will do is eliminate the trademark the team has on merchandise. The Redskins are expected to appeal.

Hillary Clinton´s minions are hard at work assembling a political machine and fine tuning it for another go at the White House. Mrs. Clinton is doing her part preparing for a run as well, churning out a bland memoir about the "hard choices" she faced as secretary of state and coyly positioning herself (again) as the inevitable nominee of the party. But after the troubled beginning to her book tour, we´re beginning to see the reasons why Hillary may eventually decide to pull the plug on a 2016 presidential run. Here are five: 1) She´s just not that good at campaigning. If the last two gaffe-prone weeks have reminded us of anything about Hillary,

Hillary Clinton — the woman assumed to be the next Democratic Party presidential nominee and quite possibly the next president — is evidently a big snooze. According to Mediate, her interviews to promote her book on CNN and Fox had underwhelming numbers. In the case of Greta Van Susteren’s show, she sent people fleeing midway. More importantly, her book itself is a sales disappointment and, I would wager, even more disappointing if you could ascertain how many who did buy it read actually past page 15. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was in single digits. No, I haven’t read it

Yesterday, it was announced the Obama administration had moved on Sunday to arrest a Benghazi al-Qaeda leader Ahmed Abu Khattala. Many people, including Fox’s James Rosen pointed particular questions to the State Dept. about “why now”? As unbelievable as this might sound, the most likely answer has little to do with what’s currently being pondered as a motive for this administration, “squirrel”. The reality is within the Bergdahl deal, and the GITMO-5 to Qatar, there is a far more likely reason.Ahmed Abu Khattala is directly connected to the covert transfer of U.S. arms from Qatar to Libya in the initial 2011

President Obama´s approval rating has dropped to 41 percent, a majority of Americans disapprove of his handling of foreign policy issues, he has lost support from the Hispanic community and Americans actually think his administration is less competent than the Bush White House post-Hurricane Katrina, according to a new survey from the Wall Street Journal and NBC News. In short, the poll is nothing but bad news for the president. The survey would appear to be so bad, in fact, that NBC News´ Chuck Todd said Tuesday that the poll basically means the public has declared the Obama presidency to be
