Chuck Todd and Ed Henry Caught
Mocking McCain on Hot Mic

Mediaite, by Matt Wilstein

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 6/19/2014 7:39:03 PM

Ever wonder what all those White House correspondents talk about while they are waiting for President Barack Obama to step up to the podium? Well now thanks to a live feed and a hot mic, we know what MSNBC’s Chuck Todd and Fox News’ Ed Henry really think about Sen. John McCain (R-AZ). Before Obama entered the briefing room to make his statement on Iraq, Todd leaned over to Henry to ask him what McCain, who supports air strikes in Iraq, must think now that General David Petraeus has come out against further military action. In video captured by The Right Pundit, Todd asked if anyone had “checked on” McCain since Petraeus

Comments:
I guess we aren´t the only ones who are tired of the insufferable McCain and also mock him. You would think there isn´t another Republican (like Ted Cruz) capable of speaking about the Iraq war.

So nice to know FNC´s ed henry and upchuck todd are such close buds and can share a laugh at the expense of a sitting Senator. There was a time when someone who went through what John McCain did, would deserve respect. But then after what was done to Admiral Stockdale, also a POW in Vietnam, we can expect no less from the "msm". Shame on them.

McCain presents himself as some kind of military expert, so things like this are probably not uncommon. I´ve said worse than that about him here.
He´s also an expert on (and supporter of) the invaders from the south.

#2 McCain is actually some kind of military expert.
Unlike those 2 giggling lightweights Todd and Henry.
An Annapolis grad, Navy pilot , 6 years as a POW.
Two sons who have served.
One a Marine, one an Annapolis grad.

If being a loose cannon makes one some kind of military expert, then I concur with the poster above re Johnny "bombs away" McCain´s prowess.

However, as a pilot, he really had no business flying combat aircraft based on the number of planes that he crashed. He got into the Naval Academy as a legacy candidate as his dad and grand dad were both admirals and Academy grads. And he barely managed to stay in school by his own admission.

John McCain is indefensible as
a pilot
a Senator
a presidential candidate
It is perfectly fine to mock
John McCain in any forum.
He is, however, the perfect
establishment republican.
He loves the reach across or reach
around as the case may be, so long
as he gets publicity and is seen
as bipartisan by all the right
people. Have I got the style

Trail Of Lost IRS Emails

Scandal: One of the seven people, including Lois Lerner who lost emails from the period of Tea Party targeting by the IRS, served as chief of staff to former IRS head Steven Miller. She also made 35 visits to the White House. The funny thing about emails is that they are never orphans. When you send one, there´s always a recipient who has his or her own copy. The "lost" Lois Lerner emails had recipients. How about subpoenas to all of them during the Tea Party targeting period? That should help find what we need to know — or maybe

NBC News has just released a preview of David Gregory’s interview with Rand Paul, set to air on this Sunday’s Meet The Press, in which the Republican senator responds directly to criticism President Barack Obama has received from former Vice President Dick Cheney and others on Iraq. After listening to what Cheney had to say, Paul remarked, “I think the same questions could be asked of those who supported the Iraq War.” In his Wall Street Journal op-ed this week, Cheney, along with his daughter, wrote, “Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of

The flood of illegal aliens, including thousands under the age of 18, at the border has gotten major media coverage in the past couple of weeks. The Obama administration acts as if it was caught off-guard by the massive influx of Central Americans who have traveled across Mexico to get into the United States. But it wasn’t surprised at all. A recently discovered government request for “escort services for unaccompanied alien children” dating back to January is raising questions about whether the government was planning for a surge of illegal immigrants this year as amnesty talks heated up in the United States.

The White House announced $254.6 million in new aid for Central American countries today. The money will go toward returning unaccompanied minors who travel to the U.S. illegally to their families and fostering youth centered programs in their home countries, the White House said this afternoon. The assistance to the governments of El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras announced today is in addition to the $130 million in aid the U.S. already provides those countries in economic assistance. The U.S. has also decided to begin detaining families at the border instead of giving them court dates and releasing them. The new

It specifically cites the release of five Taliban combatants in a trade for captive U.S. soldier Bowe Bergdahl, Obama´s statement that people could keep insurance companies, and recent EPA regulations on power plants. I still think President Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, even though for 14 years he allowed his literary agent to circulate a bio blurb stating he was born in Kenya, and even though for many years he attended a church where his pastor friend shouted such things as “God damn America!” I still think that he just pretended to be Kenyan to be cool, to sell books and, perhaps, to get a foreign student scholarship at those colleges from which he refuses to release his transcripts. He’s probably not actually Kenyan. But as I speculated

The decision this past week by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to rescind federal trademark protections for the Redskins may ultimately tip the balance in the controversy over the 80-year-old name of Washington’s football team. If so, that would be a shame. Not because there’s insufficient reason to consider the name “disparaging to Native Americans,” as the patent office determined. Many of us recoil at the reference to skin color as a team identity. The problem is that the Redskins case is just the latest example of a federal agency going beyond its brief to inappropriately insert itself in

Outwardly, they put on a show of unity — but privately, the Obamas and Clintons, the two power couples of the Democrat Party, loathe each other. “I hate that man Obama more than any man I’ve ever met, more than any man who ever lived,” Bill Clinton said to friends on one occasion, adding he would never forgive Obama for suggesting he was a racist during the 2008 campaign. The feeling is mutual. Obama made excuses not to talk to Bill, while the first lady privately sniped about Hillary.
