Los Angeles — Hundreds of people lined up for a scheduled Hillary Clinton book signing at The Grove. Clinton will sign copies of her new book, “Hard Choices”, at Barnes & Nobles at 11:30 a.m. The book is published by Simon and Schuster, a division of CBS Corp. KNX 1070´s Margaret Carrero reports fans from across the Southland drove to greet the former Secretary of State ahead of a potential 2016 Presidential bid. “She’s a transformative figure, potential to be the first female President of the United States and somebody that I’ve admired for quite some time,” fan Brandon Hoglan said.

I went to this this morning - at least a thousand people were there, patiently lined up, gaga for Hillary. Talked to some, even some who looked upper middle class as well as the illegal alien types and to a man and woman, they were all low information voters. Take a look at the quotes in this story for your proof. They walk among us and there are more of them than I had supposed. Beware - the media may be underreporting her support among the robotically stupid.

Hillary is shrewd. Not many people would be lining up in Oklahoma City.

For Floridians the only place worthy of being called The Grove is Coconut Grove just southeast of Coral Gables in the Greater Miami area.

And I must admit that when Bret Baier and Greta Van Susteren switched over at 1845 PM to their interview with the PIAPS a couple of nights ago, I immediately changed the channel to something like the Mafia´s Greatest Hits. I can´t abide that lying woman.

"She´s a transformative figure."

Genius, sheer genius. /s off/

This description ranks right up there with "strident", which was used to describe Pelosi when she became House Speaker.
Then after the parroting of the term died down, someone must have looked up the word, and it quickly vanished.

The same will happen with "transformative", if these low info voters and the media acolytes ever get around to looking up the word.

BEIJING, June 21 — Animal lovers provoked an angry backlash from residents of a Chinese city after protesting a controversial festival today in which locals celebrate the summer solstice by eating dog meat, witnesses and media said. Activists have flocked for weeks to Yulin, in the southwestern region of Guangxi, to protest the local custom of eating dog—particularly on the summer solstice, which fell today, in an event dubbed the “dog meat festival”. But their efforts have backfired. “A lot of people have said, ‘I don’t eat dog meat, but just because of these idiots, I will go buy dog meat

VATICAN CITY -- Pope Francis came out strongly against the legalization of recreational drugs on Friday. The pontiff told members of a drug enforcement conference meeting in Rome that even limited attempts to legalize recreational drugs "are not only highly questionable from a legislative standpoint, but they fail to produce the desired effects." Francis has frequently railed against the "evil" of drug addiction and has met with addicts on several occasions. Just last month, Uruguay -- next door to Francis´ native Argentina -- approved selling marijuana cigarettes in pharmacies, and recreational marijuana is legal in the U.S. states of Colorado and

Uruguay´s president Jose Mujica delivered a message from Barak Obama to Cuba´s Raul Castro proposing the opening of dialogue to discuss the blockade, reported the Montevideo media on Thursday. WASHINGTON – Approval of President Barack Obama’s handling of immigration has dropped to 31 percent, while 65 percent of people surveyed by Gallup disapprove of his immigration policies. That was the result of a study published Friday by Gallup, which also indicates that disapproval of Obama’s immigration policies has increased 10 percent since the last time the same survey was taken in August 2013. Since Gallup began taking the poll, never has it come up with such a high disapproval rating, and only in 2010 was approval lower than 31 percent.

The number of unaccompanied children from Central America into the U.S. has reached 47,000 since October, and may hit 90,000 by the end of this year. The official story is that they are fleeing drug-gang mayhem and political violence in their home countries, and so are refugees and asylum-seekers. But the Guatemalan ambassador has said they are seeking economic opportunity and the “American dream.” It’s hard, however, not to see a connection with Obama’s 2012 Deferred Action for Arrivals Program, which defers deportation for illegal aliens who are minors. Obama enacted by executive fiat––and just recently extended for 2 years––this

(Snip) She had no doubt that a terrorist attack had been launched against America on the anniversary of 9/11. However, when Hillary picked up the phone and heard Obama’s voice, she learned the president had other ideas in mind. I still think President Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, even though for 14 years he allowed his literary agent to circulate a bio blurb stating he was born in Kenya, and even though for many years he attended a church where his pastor friend shouted such things as “God damn America!” I still think that he just pretended to be Kenyan to be cool, to sell books and, perhaps, to get a foreign student scholarship at those colleges from which he refuses to release his transcripts. There are times that I have senior moments and forget certain names and events but after the recent Obama Iraq war implosion, I´m convinced most political pundits are suffering from them as well. What is unusual is that this revision of history is being committed by conservatives who should know better. Recent commentary by Glenn Beck, George Will and Charles Krauthammer indicate that they have significant memory lapses about why we went to war in Iraq. They now suggest that it was a wrong decision whereas my complaint is that we took too long to invade and oust Saddam Hussein.

The decision this past week by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to rescind federal trademark protections for the Redskins may ultimately tip the balance in the controversy over the 80-year-old name of Washington’s football team. If so, that would be a shame. Not because there’s insufficient reason to consider the name “disparaging to Native Americans,” as the patent office determined. Many of us recoil at the reference to skin color as a team identity. The problem is that the Redskins case is just the latest example of a federal agency going beyond its brief to inappropriately insert itself in

US Secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in Iraq´s capital, Baghdad as Sunni insurgents expand their control of towns across north-western Iraq. In Egypt on Sunday, Mr Kerry warned that Sunni militants Isis´ "ideology of violence and repression is a threat not only to Iraq but to the entire region". On Sunday rebels--spearheaded by Isis militants--captured border crossings to Syria and Jordan. The strategically important airport in the northern Tal Afar has also fallen. The town controls the main road from the Syrian border to Mosul, Iraq´s second biggest city, which was captured by the rebels two weeks ago.

As the president moves toward the land of the lame ducks, his political enemies are calling for blood. That’s no shocker at this stage of a presidency. In this case, the cuts go deeper. For some, it is not enough to disagree. Some high-status public figures seem determined to demean, denigrate and ridicule the president of the United States.
