Canada OKs oil pipeline
to the Pacific Coast

Associated Press, by Rob Gillies

Original Article

Posted By:MDMuskrat, 6/17/2014 7:13:28 PM

Canada´s government on Tuesday approved a controversial proposed pipeline to the Pacific Coast that would allow oil to be shipped to Asia, which would be a major step in the country´s efforts to diversify its oil exports. Enbridge´sNorthern Gateway, along with the controversial Keystone XL pipeline, project is critical to Canada, which needs infrastructure in place to export its growing oil sands production. (snip) The approval was expected but whether the Northern Gateway pipeline ever gets built remains in question as there is fierce aboriginal and environmental opposition in British Columbia and court challenges are expected.

Comments:
And just the other day, Killary Clinton refused to answer a Canadian TV interviewer´s direct question, "Keystone, yes or no?" Would that we had Stephen Harper as our leader. He makes decisions that are in the best interest of his nation.

The Canadian Indian Industry has been bought, lock, stock and barrel by Big Left American money like Rockefellers, Tides etc.who are aligned with the Saudis and other black hat oil barons.

The Indian Industry, with it´s new powers given to it by a corrupt, incompetent and naive leftard Canadian Justice Industry is now the chosen skirt for the American Left to hide behind and attempt to stop, at all costs, any hope of North American energy security. Treason doesn´t begin to describe this situation. And, with a federal election in Canada in 2015, leftards are going to the wall, behind the Indians, of course to stop ANY sale of Oil Sands oil.

So, while we worry and fret about the Dem´s open southern border we can also worry about leftist problems on the northern border.

The left wants total destruction of the first world and they are pursuing that goal with every gun blazing. You could say they are mestastisizing.

People are slowly starting to realize that the chickens, their votes for Obama, are now coming home to roost.

Food prices are soaring; gasoline prices are soaring; the IRS is attacking the electorate for holding wrong opinions; Veterans are dying from having their health are benefits stolen. The govt is trying to handcuff the nation with carbon trading, federal monument declarations, giant sea preserves, and gun laws.

America, you voted for him.

Why Does Obama Want
to Reduce CO2 Emissions?
Power Line, by John Hinderaker    Original Article
Posted By: MDMuskrat- 7/7/2014 11:13:53 AM     Post Reply
As his policies, foreign and domestic, are collapsing on pretty much every front, President Obama has increasingly sought refuge in talk about global warming. He wants the U.S. to reduce its emissions of carbon dioxide, and the EPA has done its best to bring this about via increasingly stringent regulations on coal-fired power plants. The Democrats wanted to enact cap-and-trade, but couldn’t get it through Congress, so Obama is doing the best he can through administrative action. Simultaneously, the administration has poured billions of dollars into specious “green” energy projects, many of which can’t be kept alive even with lavish

This past April, with the help of a knowledgeable reader, we took a deep dive into the fossil fuel investments of Democratic money man and environmental poseur Tom Steyer in “The epic hypocrisy of Tom Steyer.” Introducing our reader’s report, John wrote regarding Steyer: “Today, he is a bitter opponent of fossil fuels, especially coal. That fits with his current economic interests: banning coal-fired power plants will boost the value of his solar projects. But it was not always thus. In fact, Steyer owes his fortune in large part to the fact that he has been one of the world’s

The Wall Street Journal editorial page predictably bemoans the collapse of immigration reform and, equally predictably, insinuates that Democrats conspired to help kill it in order to benefit politically. (Favoring cooperation with President Obama on anything requires conservatives to argue that the president secretly hopes the measure will fail.) But the real news comes in the seventh paragraph, when the Journal reports that House Republicans were actually poised to pass a bill before Eric Cantor´s loss freaked them out: ... a majority of GOP Members wanted an immigration reform to pass as long as they didn´t have to vote for

Where Are Libertarians

Every major strand of American conservatism includes a strong libertarian streak, because the value of liberty is fundamental to just about all conservative thought. But today, especially, is said to be the libertarians’ moment. What once was a fringe movement, politically speaking, has moved front and center in our political life. And yet, in my view, libertarians of both the capital L and small l varieties punch below their weight. They have not contributed as much as they should to the conservative movement. This is partly because libertarians tend to founder on foreign policy, where many are merely modern-day isolationists. But

Last week when I commented on the downward revision of the already weak First Quarter GDP numbers, several commenters wrote in to ask: what is keeping the stock market so high? Great question, with the best answer being ZIRP, the Federal Reserve’s “zero interest rate policy,” now matched by many other central banks (with some actually now employing negative interest rates). (snip) It has always been true, however, that times of loose money tend to send stock prices higher than intrinsic valuation might warrant, as the money has nowhere else to go to get plausible returns.

The Israeli government has confirmed reports initially surfacing at the Associated Press and the New York Times that the bodies of three Israeli teenagers reported missing earlier this month have been found. The Israeli cabinet is conducting an emergency meeting on the matter. Officials are confident that they have found the bodies of Naftali Frenkel, Gilad Shaar, and Eyal Yifrach, who went missing in the West Bank earlier this month. Frenkel, a U.S. Citizen, and Shaar were 16 years old; Yifrach was 19. “They know it’s the three, they will know for sure after they do the autopsy," said an Israeli official to the newspaper on the condition of anonymity. He noted that the children appear to have been killed close to the time of kidnapping and had gunshot wounds. Israel's Haaretz newspaper added that the Israeli government was officially conducting a media blackout until all the details were confirmed.

New York Times reporter James Risen has excellent sources in the intelligence community. If you are a disgruntled intelligence officer or official and want to undermine a program or aid enemies of the United States, Risen is the go-to guy. Risen’s accomplishments in this area have been overshadowed by the emergence of Edward Snowden, but Risen should not be forgotten. We know of two valuable national security programs that Risen (writing with his colleague Eric Lichtblau) and the Times destroyed by their disclosure of them. One involved the NSA’s ability to intercept al-Qaeda related communications of terrorists operating abroad.

Sarah Palin wants to impeach Barack Obama. In an op-ed article published last week, the former Republican vice presidential nominee declared that the crisis on the southern border (where young illegal immigrants are being detained) "is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, ´No, mas´."
