Has the Dept. of Homeland Security
become America’s standing army?

“A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty.”—James Madison. Worked for USCG and DHS, DHS is a cluster Flop that could not fight their way out of a paper bag. Be more fearful of Holders DOJ and FBI.

I recently renewed my passport, several years out of date. My short form BC wasn´t good enough. Had to get my long form. No biggie. Five minute wait at the Clerk of Records + $25 personal check.

We still haven´t seen obama´s (D-Kenya). Seems the fox is guarding the chicken coop.

This argument was strongly made (and laughed at) when the agency was set up under George Bush. I must admit that I was one of the laughers. I was really, really wrong. I did not anticipate how many tentacles it would develop, nor how nefarious would be the next administration´s aims and means.

never happen..
only way this could possibly work is if it were led by non-Americans, from the top AND from within the ranks..
that would mean there would have to be a foreigner in charge of the country who HATES America AND a bunch of his kind in the troops..
which would mean that he would have to import the foot soldiers from some place like Latin America (the more violent the better) and bring in troops from some foreign country to assist..

Do we have to be reminded of Obama´s promise to build a "civilian police force"? Remember that? It appears he can check that off his to-do list, too.

“Here [in New Mexico], we are moving more toward a national police force. Homeland Security is involved with a lot of little things around town. Somebody in Washington needs to call a timeout.”

Get in line for calling time-outs. We need a time out for just about everything this Administration is doing, but this is chilling.

If the United States is a police state, then the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is its national police force, with all the brutality, ineptitude and corruption such a role implies.

And guess who is in charge of it?

In fact, although the DHS’ governmental bureaucracy may at times appear to be inept and bungling, it is ruthlessly efficient when it comes to building what the Founders feared most—a standing army on American soil.

Fundamentally remaking America was Obama´s goal. He is doing it. The very idea of a national police force under control of the Executive Branch makes my blood run cold. O can sic those "soldiers", all with a racial or other grievance chip on their collective shoulders, on all of us.

If you´re white, rich, Christian or conservative of any color, kiss your arse goodbye if this takes hold as Obama´s "civilian police force."

To say this is alarming is crazy-making enough, but to not have seen it coming is inexcusable.

The supposed lesson from 911 was that we failed to connect the dots across multiple government entities. We had all the information needed in various places but no single aggregate picture immerged. Frankly I never bought that argument. I think we had the information but lacked the spheroids to act upon it. We also conveniently underplayed the Clinton regulation "Gorelick wall."

Our defense department and all of it´s subservient entities failed to defend the country against a foreign threat. Therefore the remedy was to create a new department? This is as absurd to me today as it was at the time.

So we opened the door to one of the most feared concepts in American history, a standing force at the ready to challenge "the people" countering their ultimate control of a government intended to serve them. Federalist #46: "the greatest danger to liberty is from a large standing army."

And as the dark clouds gathered, the solemn faced patriots continued investing their free dollars in precious metals, Lead and Brass, in preparation of what the future entails.

Those that didn´t, had made the decision to join the ranks of ´The Sheeple´ and ´Floaters´ and drift as slurry through the cesspool of a once great nation.

Those that did, became known as ´Wolverines´, AKA ´Independent Operators´, and became the Last Great Hope for the rebirth of the ´Experiment that WAS America´.

Homeland Security is a way to have a standing army active against Americans since it is not possible to use the military this way except with martial law. Look our for in effect "marshal law" permanently enforced by Homeland Security and the loss of liberty. Just warning.

We are enslaved -- by our own apathy. After 9/11 we looked to9 the government to protect us. DHS was welcomed as the solution by most Americans. Obama found it convenient to shape this as his domestic army.

The satire of #5 here was delightful, and he´ll probably be mad at me for fleshing it out, but here´s what the DHS leadership looks like:

Secretary, Jeh Johnson [- a black pal of Obama & Holder]
Deputy Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas

Despite fiery statements issued by Hamas spokesmen over the past 48 hours, it was obvious Tuesday night that the Islamist movement was searching for ways to rid itself of the current escalation. Hamas feels that it has been forced into a confrontation with Israel – one that it did not want at this stage because of its increased isolation and financial crisis. The massive Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours have surprised Hamas and other Palestinian groups. Hamas apparently expected a limited response to the recent rocket attacks on Israeli cities and towns. But as the

Ever since President George W. Bush said “Islam is peace” on Sept. 17, 2001, it has been politically shielded from any debate about its effects on its adherents or on the rest of the world. Muslim nations and pressure groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations have used political correctness as a weapon to punish anyone who dared to begin any debate on Islam by calling them “Islamophobes,” an accusation of racism. That era was ended by the lead editorial in the July 5 edition of The Economist, the prominent liberal British news magazine. Titled “The Tragedy of the Arabs,”

In an interview the other day, I was asked what the president might’ve been thinking when he instigated the chaos on our borders with his talk of pen-and-phone amnesty. Half a dozen things went through my mind. Maybe he’s trying some sort of Cloward-Piven maneuver: an attempt to overwhelm our welfare state to the point where we replace it with “a guaranteed annual income and thus an end to poverty.” Or maybe he’s just trying to flood the population with Democrat voters. Back in the heyday of the British Empire, a man from one of the colonies addressed a London audience. "Please do not do any more good in my country," he said. "We have suffered too much already from all the good that you have done." That is essentially the message of an outstanding new book by Jason Riley about blacks in America. Its title is "Please Stop Helping Us." Its theme is that many policies designed to help blacks are in fact harmful, sometimes devastatingly so. These counterproductive policies range from minimum wage laws to "affirmative action" quotas. This book untangles the controversies,

The facts are simple. The IRS systematically targeted conservative and Tea Party groups after their activism proved decisive in the 2010 midterm elections—Obama’s famous “shellacking.” The effects of this targeting were widespread. Some Tea Party groups were neutered in the months before the 2012 presidential election. Few of the explanations or justifications of this targeting provided by IRS leaders and Obama administration officials have held up. IRS officials at first denied that any targeting had taken place. That was false. They later claimed that the targeting had involved only low-level employees in the Cincinnati office. That was false. They argued
